Shrimp Baja taco and Calamari taco with Agua Fresca
    Sara B.

I have lived here almost 2 years now and finally ate here last weekend. I ordered a calamari taco, Baja taco with grilled shrimp and an aqua Fresca. My favorite was the calamari taco. It was HUGE and stuffed with so much calamari that I had to grab a fork; yes folks it was that overstuffed! The Baja shrimp taco could use some lessons from the calamari one because I could hardly locate the shrimp, it honestly was mostly cabbage. Get the calamari taco, you won't regret it.

I love this place! They have the best tacos and are located right on the pier. The employees are always cheery and prompt with their service. When I come I get their iced tea and Baja tacos. My partner gets the seafood burritos. They are reasonably priced and they even have a free water station. There is only seating outside so be sure to come on a day when the weather is good. There is also a public restroom nearby. Perfect place to grab a bite to eat then go out for a stroll on the pier. We look forward to coming back soon once the weather is nicer. :)

Always a solid choice. Tacos on the beach, what could be better? Street taco trio is only $6 during happy hour Mon-Fri. Order at the winwdow, get some water and they call your number. Perfect view, tall cold agua fresca, variety of beers and seltzers. Elote fries are off the chain, and don't forget their yummy churro donuts for dessert. Genuinely hope this place stays open forever!

Beach house taco, Baja taco, grilled shrimp burrito, calamari, chips and salsa

I really enjoyed this spot! The food was very flavorful and generously portioned. The calamari was one of the best I've had and I loved the chips and salsa, I just wish the salsa was spicier. I got the fried fish option for both of my tacos and it was perfectly crispy. The only thing I didn't like was the spring mix on the beach house taco. I just wish the tortillas were more soft and thin. The Baja taco had a lot of cabbage on it so I took the spring mix off and put some of the cabbage on that and it was good! The burrito was great too the shrimp almost melted in your mouth. Their Jamaica was refreshing. It's on a beautiful pier and plenty of seating. I would totally come back here!

Hello again Beach House Tacos! I thought after over 9 years of not going to your establishment I thought I would make amends for the pitiful review which I left all those years ago. It had been time. Wars were fought, a pandemic ravaged the land, an insurrection was attempted and we got gaslit to think it was a fun organized tour of rambunctious older white males that thought they were going to a matinee of John Wick. I know my bitter review was left in haste because I was still grieving from Harambe's death. Plus, it was a beautiful sunset at the pier so I was about time to bury the hatchet. IT. WAS. TIME. I walked up and there was NO LINE! What fortune for me! The gods were ready for me to come up and enjoy a great meal and not have to wait the hour I had to endure which ended in Beach House keeping my money and I left empty handed (see original review) I was ready finally make peace with Beach House. I sat there at the window for a few minutes, nobody came. A young couple stood behind me and waited with me. This guy looks at me from inside and give me the "wait one mintute" finger and walks away. Ok, I'll be patient. It was late and he was probably the only one working. He wasn't. A few more minutes passed and the couple behind me gave up and left. The finger guy looks at me and says something to another worker who blankly looks at me, then goes to another register and starts playing around with it instead of trying to take my order. That's it. I'm done. If I had a sawsall I would have cartoonishly cut the wood around Beach House Tacos let it break apart into the ocean and let it sail into the sea. I'm never again going to this mess of an establishment.

This is slightly larger than a shack. Came highly recommended. And we were mid afternoon. They have a nice little happy hour menu. So we were able to get five dollar grilled fish tacos. They give you cups for water, and they're very nice the window. There is a small area that you can eat inside that somewhat protected. And a number of outside tables. We opted to walk down the pear a bit and get a table there which was really really nice. The tacos were really good. As long as you like coleslaw which I do. There's a lot of slaw over a very tasty piece of grilled fish that has some chili tartar sauce on it and it's very lightly spicy. The salsa was a big hit. A little spicy yes but it's a brown salsa that has a lot of vegetables in it which we liked a lot. The chips were a bit thick for me. Because we came middle of the afternoon we suspect that they've been sitting a bit. I wasn't a fan but my friend loved them. Definitely would return.

LOVE beach house tacos. You can order online or phone it in ahead of time. I usually walk over from downtown or park in the structure near the pier. Favorites: Baja taco (grilled or fried!) - lots of cabbage and sauce Salmon taco - nice portion of grilled salmon Crunchy beef tacos Breakfast burrito - nicely grilled with well seasoned potatoes (anddd it comes with avocado!) Great customer service every time.

If you park at the parking structure nearby, you can get a 2 hour validation from Beach House Tacos. Came here on Labor Day and I think I manage to beat the crowd at 6:30pm. The line comes and goes so really depends on how lucky you get, but even then, waiting for the food took a while even though there were only 5 orders ahead of me. I got the Seafood burrito with Shrimp being the fish of choice and had it fried over grilled. I liked the burrito but I do feel like the seafood to burrito portion could be better. Besides the portioning, the green sauce they provide is very disappointing. If they had pico de gallo or the typical green sauce you get in Mexican restaurants, the overall flavor would be much better. Still a pretty solid meal though, which I'll give a 4 stars for.

Great spot for a quick snack or a casual lunch with an unbeatable view. Sitting right on the pier you get a beautiful look at the beach while you eat, which makes it a perfect place to take a break and relax. It's an order at the window set up with pick up and the service is fast and efficient. It can get pretty busy around lunchtime, so expect long lines and sometimes a bit of a challenge to find a seat. regardless the food comes out quickly and hits the spot the mango margaritas are delicious, and super refreshing definitely worth trying. It's a perfect stop if you're riding bikes along the boardwalk and want to pass for a quick bite a drink and a great view before heading back out.

I didn't know they had a salad bar now?! I paid $60 for mixed salad tacos pretty much. The elote fries were the best thing here. I use to love this place.

Greta place on the pier to grab lunch and a beer! You can't beat the panoramic views! Counter service that's always quick.

Chicken taco, fish taco, potato taco
    Keely A.

This place is amazing. We ordered a beach house fish taco with grilled fish- the pineapple salsa was so delish! Fish tasted great. The elite chicken taco was creamy and delicious! The potato taco had roasted peppers on it which made it oh so divine. What I loved most about these tacos was how unique the favors were! The seating it outside and you can eat and look at the water. Heaven!!! Staff was super nice too.

I've thought about returning several times over the course of the last year, but never did until tonight. Turns out nothing has changed, still good food, still loud AF. This time I had a Taco al Pastor. It was excellent, with soft, flavorful meat topped with onions, cilantro and a slice of pina. My wife had a Fish taco, which was impressively large. I suspect that fish taco was every bit as excellent as my pastor taco because my wife didn't offer me a bite, as she usually does. We had been talking nonstop since we sat down, but when the tacos arrived the conversation ended. All I could think was, damn, I gotta finish this taco before she asks me for a bite. I imagine she was thinking the same thing. What I didn't have to worry about was sharing the guacamole and tortilla chips. The serving size of the guacamole is easily enough for two people. And the tortilla chips, same generous serving size. The chips are good too, not the boring chips one encounters all too frequently at other places. I was also impressed by the Horchata here. Way above average. Creamy and rich AF. If you aren't having a beer, you definitely should check out the Horchata. And dog, they've got all kinds of beers up in here! I mean, yeah, cold local beers and even happy hour discounts! Gaw! So, yeah, I love this place. I just wish it wasn't so freaking loud. Maybe next time I visit I'll wear my noise cancelling headphones. Mikey C says: if it's too loud, you're too old. True dat.

First off, the parking here is a nightmare. I literally got boxed in and had to ask someone to move their car so I could back out. Secondly, me and my coworker stop here at 11:30am for an early lunch. There is literally 1 other person there who had already ordered and got their meal just as me and my coworker sit down after ordering. We ordered 7 tacos in total... 30 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived. I finally go up to the counter to see if something was wrong and the guy had no idea about our order and said he was sorry that they had a big catering order. As a former business owner I do understand that stuff happens and a large catering order is good for business but ultimately that isn't the customers problem. Especially the customer that is sitting there at your establishment. Rather than tell us while we were ordering that it might take longer than normal, they don't communicate anything and then don't even address the issue until I go up there to complain. Once that happened the tacos came out in less than 5 minutes which is even more upsetting since this is how fast they should have come out to begin with. The gentleman who I think was an owner did apologize and try to offer some free drinks which I politely declined as I knew I'd never be back again. I hope that this business learns to service the customers properly that are actually dining there and if there is an issue at least takes some initiative to address it on the front side. Most working class people only get a 30-45 minute lunch to begin with so it wasn't cool that we literally wasted 30 minutes just sitting there with no explanation. There are plenty of other good places around Ventura for lunch - especially for tacos. Won't be going back here ever.
