Outside of of the store front and general area looks pretty beat-up and scary, although I didn't care as I was here for some Gata cookies/pastries (see my pic). It was $7 for about a dozen of these and they're best when freshly made and warm -absolute deliciousness. Very simple ingredients: flour, butter, yeast, margarine, sugar and vanillin -and taste amazing. Service from Daniel was direct and I had to ring the bell at the counter to get his attention at the front of the store. Seems that everyone else was baking in the other adjoined room. Inside was full of knickknacks decor, not too many of the cakes/desserts featured. No inside or outside seating. No frills kinda bakery, but the Gata cookies are worth it. Free parking in this strip mall.

The five star rating is for their GATA! An Armenian pastry / sweet bread. They make the most authentic home made style than anyone else I have tried. This great treat is 100% natural, crispy on outside and nice smooth doughy inside. Nice caramel color from the egg wash makes it even more appetizing. It is not very sweet. Fairly light comparably to the other Gatas. All resulting in a delicious cookie that will be very hard to resist eating just one! Fantastic with coffee, Tea or hot chocolate. Freshness is guaranteed since they also distribute throughout the city. They are open from 9 to 3 six days a week. Do not rely on the published internet hours. Call before you go to make sure they are open. I suggest to go there in the morning. They may run out in the afternoon.I have NOT tried their cakes so I cannot comment on their other products.

The adorable baby shower cake. I had ordered the decorations online and I gave them to Pierre's Pastry. They decorated the cake tastefully.

The baby shower cake design was the cutest. The Grillage cake was so delicious. Everyone wanted to know where I got the cake from and I had to share with them Pierre's Pastry's information. I always buy custom cakes from Pierre's Pastry.

Many thanks to Lena for making desserts for our daughter's wedding which was rescheduled 3 times due to Covid! The dessert and challah presentation was perfect, the communication, service and delivery was very smooth. Everything was beautiful and delicious!

I bought this Gata from Jones in Hollywood on Santa Monica Blvd and I'm completely utterly disgusted. When I almost bit into a long piece of hair that was attached into my gata. Not only on one BUT ON 3. Please have your disgusting employees wear hair nets next time. So disgusted and disappointed I will no longer buy Pierres' Gata ever again. I will tell all my friends and family to not buy it as well. Gross.

Best pastry ever it's so fresh it melts in your mouth,it comes right from the oven every time I purchase. And they are the nicest people And if they are on a cigarette break good for them!

    Addicting to this one!

I'm their regular customer and don't think I going to stop going there for fresh Gatas!

I have been amazed with their cakes for quite a while. My mother used to get them for special occasions as well as for tea time with friends up in San Jose at Kalinka (Russian Grocery store on Almaden Expwy) Imagine my surprise when I moved down to San Fernando Valley to find out that this little gem is a couple miles from where I work! I come here every month to get a cake for a monthly team meeting (and once in a while a cake for me and my friends) The place is small and doesn't look like much from the outside. It's in the same shopping center as Stars Drive In. They have a few display cakes in the front as well as little pastries. i wish they could have more of a variety, but I don't think they get enough foot traffic for that unfortunately.

The party was planned a little last minute because we didn't know when we'd get our gender results back, so I was a little pressed for time to find a bakery that could make a cake for me within a few days. La Paz really accommodated my last minute request and our food allergy restrictions. They did their best to make sure they could accommodate egg yolk and dairy sensitivity, and even texted me to make sure their ingredients were okay! They also called me to confirm how I would like the gender to be revealed in the cake and were very clear on how they were going to execute it. I have never experienced such attentive customer service! They even decorated the cake so well, even though it was a last minute order. Not only were they able to accommodate my last minute request with grace, the cake also came out BEAUTIFULLY! It was enormous and so delicious. The cake was so light and fluffy. We (and our guests) were really impressed! There's ample parking in the shared lot in the plaza, and they accept credit cards. I really can't say enough good things about my experience with La Paz. Thank you so much, Leslie and the whole team at La Paz, for making a special day even more special for my husband and me!

The location here in Woodland Hills is at the Topanga village right near the front/parking lot area. It was easy to find and walkable. The store itself was a throwback to those cute 50s bakery style shops. Adorable, I absolutely loved it. Decor was super cute and the inside was clean and spacious for window shopping. The staff are what make this bakery magical. Everyone was so so nice and helpful. They were even extra sweet to my friend and threw in a freebie for her as she is having her baby soon. The staff answered all my questions as it was my first time and were knowledgeable about the menu. I walked out with some delicious thin chocolate chip cookies and my friend got a cupcake. Great spot and would highly recommend checking them out if you have a sweet tooth or want some seriously impressive baked goods for a party/event.

When you come in, it's refreshing to see the open space. It's clean with plenty of seating whether you want to sit and dine and work or head to the back to just chill. I got their iced dirty chai. I've been craving one lately and it hit the spot. They had sandwich samples so tried their turkey sandwich. Also I got to meet the owner and he was nice enough to let me try a sample of their chocolate chip cookie which it had sea salt and made with sourdough. It was also warmed up for me. I can taste the combination of the cookie and it was really good. I would get this because it's different and it works. The owner is really nice and explained how they came here to the valley and have other locations in Palmdale. Parking is on the street or the small paid parking lot in the back but on the other side of the block. I think this area needed something more modern like this.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the barista was super friendly and made sure to check which milk I wanted as I almost forgot to say I wanted oat! I got a medium iced latte with vanilla and strawberry syrup. I wish every coffee shop had strawberry syrup. Because I think this was one of the best lattes I've ever had. It was incredible. The only catch is that it's quite small and expensive... I know that's typical for bougie coffee these days. It's just unfortunately not something I can be in the habit of getting often. But I drank it all in maybe just 5 minutes. Partly because it was unbelievably delicious but also I don't think there was much in there! Especially with how much ice is in it. Maybe I'll just get a hot one next time. I will definitely be back because I'm going to be thinking about it for a while now.

Although it was close to closing time, the young man who was minding the shop was very friendly and gracious in answering our questions. They have a beautiful selection of cake slices, pastries, and even coffee drinks available. They do custom whole cakes for birthdays and other occasions. With the name of Napoleon, I thought it was a French bakery. It turns out that they specialize in a number of European confections, including options from Eastern Europe. Without a lot of time before they were done for the day, Dear Hubby and I each chose a cake slice, and we got a cake pop for our Sweet Granddaughter. She got to pick the color icing she preferred, which was nice. The pricing seems fair, especially given the loving care that's gone into baking and decorating each baked treat. We will definitely be visiting again. They are within 5 to 10 minutes of where our kids live, so there you go - a new "secret" place discovered!

The…read moreplace looked popular with tables filled on the patio and the pastries on display through the window looked intriguing so decided to take a chance and maybe get a small coffee and some pastries to try. There was a young man at the counter who welcomed us with a wonderful smile. He said his name is Said (pronounced Sa-eed) and asked if it was our first time here. We said it was, so he offered to give us some samples of their most popular bake goods. He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And she wants to order again when we come by next time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were all prepared with such care, but given at a reasonable time. Some of these cafes take forever to make your drinks, even Starbucks makes you wait 20 minutes! These other coffee shops make it seem like they're doing some complex chemistry experiment how long it takes for just a drink! But this young guy he makes the drink in under 5 min and it tastes 10x better anything those other coffee shops make, but in less than half the time! I really thought maybe it was really hard making drinks, but this young dude makes it look like a walk in the park, the speed and ease he cranks out the drinks. I think Uzbekistan people must be just built different! and he was also so kind and pleasant taking the time to explain and answer all our questions. Some of these other places wouldn't even bother or make it feel like you're pulling a nail from them the way they grimace. He was so nice we wanted to give a tip, but he even said he didn't want us to. He'd happily accept just our enjoying the food and drinks and would appreciate if we left a review for his cafe. just had to leave a review. Especially after how nice he is. And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow! Aren't we so glad they moved into our neighborhood! A Real quality cafe I didn't even know what I was missing until I stepped into this little shop by mere chance! I Will definitely come by again. And anyone else who discovers this little gem would be so lucky and blessed as us!

I understand it's hard to keep everything clean when a restaurant is busy, but this time the place was almost empty. There were food crumbs on the floor around our table and some tables still had leftovers on them. It wasn't very pleasant while eating. I'll probably come back because the food is worth it. If the restaurant is cleaner next time, I'd be happy to give it more stars.
