The absolute best Italian food in the area! Ozone pizza is a classic. Unique and flavorful. Penne Rosa is out of this world. Cookies for dessert were soft and delicious. Meatballs very good! This is a spot we've been wanting to get to for a while now and it was great. Fish tank entrance shows they care off the bat. I dig the low lighting and the booths had that privacy feel to it. The Bread bowl burrata app was necessary and essential to kick things off. Everyone should start and end with that. Next time we'll try the gnocchi bread bowl. That's gotta be nuts. Entrees were delicious. Limoncello chicken huge portion not overly sweet and the Parmesan on top sealed the deal and the Brooklyn Bolognese was real fresh and surprisingly light. Great service. Been here many times.....June 2026 pay for bread? Whats up with that? It was 2 hoagie rolls toasted ugh! Unfortunately my fav appetizer only gets 2 stars...very bland. Amazing in every way! The inside was decorated nicely with lights for Christmas. We had 7:00 reservations and we had a to wait a few minutes but we didn't mind, they have complimentary pizza in the waiting area which is a very unique touch. Dinner Portions are big in my opinion. The Brooklyn bolognese and chicken parm were delicious. The chicken cutlet was pounded thin, the sauce in both dishes tasted very good and authentic. The server was excellence! Had a Great Meal. Multiple appetizers with service for 4 and a 2 year old fireball. The 2 year old loved the Garlic knots and especially the clams. He also enjoyed the side sausage. Missed a few photos while he was getting a little excited. All the entrees was delicious topped by only one dessert which looked delicious. Our server was Brinn. We come here every year while visiting LBI. Decore and large fish take are nice. Last time while waiting for our table to open up (had a reservation) we were all serves some appetizers. Ragu, Brooklyn Bolognese, and chicken parm are always delicious. Our family of 14-20 people order pizza for pizza night at the house. Food has not disappointed! read more

Had dinner here with friends last night. The service was excellent. Erin our waitress was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food was excellent. The flounder franchise came with two large filets in a perfectly seasoned butter/lemon sauce The chicken parm serving was enormous and the chicken was moist and tender with a delicious marinara sauce. Russo's was amazing! It was so good we went 2 nights in a row on our vacation to LBI. The first night I had the pork chop saltimboca which was the best pork chop I've ever had in my life. My wife had the chicken limoncello which was also great and the burrata bread bowl appetizer was incredible! The second night we started with the garlic rolls which are the size of cinnamon buns which were great. I got Uncle Lou's shrimp and calamari with spaghetti and my wife got the sausage and peppers, both equally amazing again! Also the portions are huge and neither of us could finish our meals. Bella was our waitress both nights and she was very responsive and kind. The food was at our table quick and being able to make a reservation beforehand was clutch. We also loved the look of the restaurant with being more upscale than many of the other family restaurants but definitely still a family friendly atmosphere. 10/10 Excellent restaurant! 2 of the best meals of OF MY LIFE!!! read more

We went on July 3rd and the restaurant was mobbed.. there was a delay so the staff cut up a square pizza for the people waiting.. that was wonderful.. when we ordered, the waitress felt we were waiting too long, so you bought these cheese bread buns on the house.. They too were wonderful.. To top it off, I had grannies gravy (something like that)... my wife took a bite and that was the end of my dinner because she loved it.. This is without a doubt one of the best takeout pizza's I have ever had anywhere. The online ordering was easy, the price was a little less than some other options, the pizza crust was thin and crispy (I ordered well done crust), and it was even done about 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time. We called ahead for seating for our party of 8. No bread was served. Every main entree came out hot and delicious. I had the Sunday Gravy, tons of red gravy! My wife got the clams with white sauce. She never finishes her plate but this dish was 90% gone. Everyone was full at the end of their meals. The decor was cute with pictures of the Russo family in the front along with a large fish tank. We have been dining at Russos over the years. The food and atmosphere has always been enjoyable. The pricing has recently increased considerably. They use to serve complimentary homemade bread with your meal. Salads and soup have always been ala carte, but lastnight we went for dinner and found the bread is no longer offered with the meal. The dinner specials have increased in price significantly. You can expect to pay a premium price in the summer, but we came in mid March. Everything on the menu has increased significantly. We arrived at 7:45 and the place was empty. We ended up closing the place and no other customers came in. Grant it, it's the off season, but we have seen at least 3-4 other tables when we come in the off-season. The food has was delicious, and the service was excellent, but the pricing and the Trump train in the foyer has me debating if I would return. Not a fan of seeing political messaging in a business. read more
