Crab eggs benedict with sourdough pancakes
    Sabrina P.

A childhood favorite! Pig n pancake has consistent quality breakfast across time. I always order and would recommend the crab eggs benedict and substitute their famous sourdough pancakes as the side. While prices continue to go up (not the restaurant's fault, just a result of inflation and local tax), this is ultimately a great choice for anyone looking for breakfast in cannon beach. We went at 11:30 AM on a Saturday during winter, and were seated immediately. Our servers were prompt to bring us coffee and take our orders. Our booth was spacious with a nice view of nearby shops.

When visiting Cannon Beach there are a few places to enjoy brunch/ breakfast and one of them is the Pig 'N Pancake. We stopped by around 11ish or so and we were seated right away and ordered the following items : - pancakes - sides of bacon and has brown - 1/2 crab eggs Benedict with fruit - coffee Overall really tasty food. Good portions. PS: There are also pig 'n pancake memorabilia to purchase by the register.

Was excited to try this spot but left feeling disappointed. It has that old diner feel but WAY overpriced and an additional tax on top. The sourdough pancakes were great! Parking lot was tiny with limited parking. Service was mediocre and I expected more of a mom and pop feel.

If you're in Cannon Beach you have to grab a stack here. It's tradition The blueberry pancakes are a favorite but all of the breakfast options are filling diner classics. This isn't fancy food but it's classic and filling!

Stopped by Pig 'n Pancake while in Cannon Beach** and had a solid experience. The service was great -- friendly and very fast -- which made it an easy choice for a quick breakfast. The restaurant has a classic diner vibe that feels comfortable and casual. It's a nice spot if you're looking for a simple, no-fuss breakfast before heading out to explore. The breakfast plate itself was good and satisfying, though a little pricey for a standard breakfast. That said, the convenience, atmosphere, and quick service make it a dependable option in Cannon Beach. Overall, a nice place for a quick and easy morning meal.

    Dungeness Crab Egg Benedict

Stumbled into this diner style restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning because we had kids in our party and they wanted pancakes. As soon as you walk in there's toys and trinkets displayed for purchase like a souvenir store. We were lead to our table and were promptly seated. Unfortunately the espresso machine was broken so we could only get drip coffee. Service wasn't exceptional, we had to flag our waitress for water and coffee refills. Since we were in Oregon and they are known for their Dungeness crabs, I ordered the Dungeness crab eggs Benedict with hash browns. The meal was nothing special, the crab did not taste very fresh. We also had blueberries pancakes, they were decent but not memorable. Overall it is what you would expect from a chain diner, fairly mediocre food. The parking was a bit of a hassle as well, very few spots in their lot.

Chicken fried steak (country fried steak)

I LOVE country fried steak (also known as chicken fried steak) and was very excited to see a diner up on the coast (even if a local franchise) have it. I ordered the chicken fried skillet and my partner got the kielbasa with sourdough pancakes. The chicken fried steak is smaller in portion to what I'm used and is pre-cut. It was the gravy that made this country fried steak perfect because it was actually seasoned and none of that floury taste that some diners seem to suffer from. Toast comes pre-buttered here! My partner's sourdough pancakes were alright, they had a strong fermented aftertaste. Parking is not the greatest, only about 4 spots and one for handicap parking. You'll need to park down the neighborhood and walk if you are going at peak hours. Overall, this is worth the visit if you're craving good diner food.

Best breakfast place in CB. They have a huge menu, and lots of seafood options for both breakfast and lunch. I have eaten here every time I come to CB, and it's always good. The staff is so friendly, and the kitchen always gets the orders right and makes for quick service. Crab and shrimp omelettes are yummy, they have these sour dough pancakes that are really delicious, and so are their blueberry pancakes. Also, their dining area is big, and has a lot of natural light. Great breakfast or lunch option.

    Breakfast is served!

Good but not great. The ambience is fine and the service is nice. The food is Denny's, not your local greasy spoon.

The food and service were phenomenal. My husband mentioned it was an extremely fluffy pancake. I glad we stopped in for breakfast.

As positives we enjoyed our plates, especially the Crab and Prawn Cakes. I also liked my entree of the Thai Style Coastal Soup, spicy and full of delicious fresh seafood, with the nit that the slice of toasted sourdough afloat in the bowl served only as an annoyance (I'd much prefer fresh bread on the side). But unfortunately there were a set of concerns: The cocktails were poorly made, especially the "Spice is Nice", which simply...wasn't. Lacking of balance and flavor. The focaccia, I think it was curry cardamom flavored? Didn't work. Tables were very tightly spaced and the noise level in the small room was high. I couldn't help hearing our neighbors' conversations but somehow couldn't hear my wife from across the table, I hate echo chambers! The live music - I'll spare specifics for the sake of the entertainer. Let's just say we preferred the ambience while the performer was on break. The server almost seemed to be trying too hard - there's no need for forced banter or laughter. I chose Bistro based on its web site and menu and was looking forward to a wonderful fine dining experience. We left disappointed.

There were locals eating at tables around us including a local law official, for a vacation area I consider this a sign of a good restaurant.
