Buckwheat pancakes, thick cut bacon, two eggs over easy and a side of hash browns. Solid breakfast food and friendly service on the Oregon Coast. The food was solid regular breakfast food. Coffee was hot, normal coffee house blend.

Once again, I almost tore into the food, before I got the picture. Fortunately I caught it in time.

I liked their menu, and they were almost across the street from my motel, so I came in for breakfast. The place is clean, and the people are friendly. It has a nice "coffee shop vibe. " there is also a small gift shop. The server comes to my table quickly, and the food also comes quickly. I decided to go for the razor clams and eggs. I asked for the eggs lightly over easy, and I asked if I could have fruit, instead of potatoes. She said, no problem. The food comes, and it came with hash browns, instead of fruit. I didn't send the order back, because I needed to get on the road. The hash browns were okay, they were just your generic restaurant hash browns. The toast was a good quality sourdough, and the coffee was also very good. The star of this breakfast, was definitely the razor clams and eggs. The razor clams were just lightly breaded. Just right. They were a little chewier on the end, but hey, that's the foot of the clam. It's to be expected. The main body of the clam, was so tender, and the entire thing was a little bit sweet, a little bit savory, with just a "pop" of brininess. Absolutely amazing. They came with a good tartar sauce, but I didn't need it. It actually took away from the flavor a little bit. The eggs were also perfectly done, with plenty of the "yolk action" for dipping the clams that I love. The price was the higher end, but reasonable for what I got. I would come back just for that breakfast again. Thanks!!!

A must go to for breakfast/brunch! Huge menu with a lot of options, I have a hard time choosing sometimes. The crepes are great, and the eggs benny are one of my favs! Little gift shop area with cute knick knacks and some Pig 'N Pancake merch. Service is great always! We went again today for Mothers Day brunch and our server was great! It was pretty busy but we were seated quickly and didn't wait too long at all. Definitely worth checking out, it's my favorite breakfast spot on the coast.

I had a bad experience at Pig' N Pancake due to the quality of food and horrible service. The sourdough pancakes tasted really bad, it almost had a metallic taste to it- at the first bite. I've had sourdough pancakes from other restaurants before and have always really enjoyed sourdough pancakes so I was excited to try it, but it was inedible due to how it tasted. When I told the waitress about it, she was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I tried their original pancake and it was just okay- edible but lacked any flavor. The omelette my cousin ordered was also okay- it had a decent amount of vegetables and meat . The chicken fried steak skillet was bland in flavor and the steak was soggy.

It was pretty good. I had the eggs Benedict, 5 stars. The service was good, fast and enjoyable.

We had a false start on a 5am trip to Portland on a rainy dreary Monday for a number of reasons. So at 5:45am my 21yo said, can we get breakfast and stare at the ocean while we eat? Sure! Well, easier said than done. Most Newport places aren't open at 6am, but P & P is. We moved here in Dec but hadn't been yet. We have been to all the P &Ps before we moved here. I called at 6:05. The staff person was so nice and cheerful! We ordered: strawberry waffle, side of sausage, an Arnold Palmer, stack of buttermilk pancakes, side of bacon. With 20% tip we spent $60. Ouch. But everything was ready in 10 minutes, packed nicely, really hot and fragrant. It was a pretty satisfying breakfast and we both saved over half for later. ( who can eat 6 pancakes at once!?) It is predictable and safe. But like most everything else at the coast a little spendy. And yes, I could have made breakfast at home. (Insert shrug emoji here).

My family and I came here for lunch on 11/30/2025 I ordered the Taco Omelet. The food tasted great. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

Always stop when in the coast. A tradition me and my daughter started our first time out to the coast almost a decade ago. Consistent good food, quick service and a fun place to eat.

Great breakfast spot in Newport. Food was tasty. Table and booths were very clean! I highly appreciated the meticulously organized and super clean table condiments. All employees were smiling and seemed happy. Merch is available for purchase upon entrance as well.

This was straight dogwater we had a bill over $67 and it was so bad the pecan pancakes had like 3 pecans in total as well as I probably have a heart condition from the amount of butter their was on it

Small appetite, two pancakes, one egg and two sausage links

The pancakes and eggs Benedict are really good. A great In-N-Out breakfast spot never a long wait always tables available price is reasonable.

Slightly spicy hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs and the sweet bacon on the Benedict pearched on house made biscuits. Strong, rich coffee, on top of it service and normally a wait, but worth it.

I opted for the grilled cheese with an iced tea. My husband ordered the clam chowder with garlic bread. As I look around at all the tables near me all of the food from the hamburger to the salad looks delicious. The front door is open and the restaurant is warm. Outdoors it's only 54°. Kitchen is in the back of the restaurant, but there is heat radiated throughout the small restaurant. And loud noise of fans. The service was quick and polite. The food was delicious. The restaurant kept busy with people sitting at the tables outside as the lunch tables inside were filled. This is a small and cute place to have lunch. The wait staff was kind. We left our jackets in the restaurant and the waitress came out and found us still sitting in our car and gave us our jackets. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond. I would give this adorable café five stars.

We lucked out and arrived right as the largest table in the tiny place was finishing up so we got a table that comfortably fit the six of us. The waiter was super nice and helpful, especially since we started out saying we needed three checks. I ended up getting something I used to get years ago and was thrilled to see that they still had: pan-fried Yaquina Bay oysters and eggs, along with the homemade biscuit. Love that they have homemade bread and bread their own oysters and fish. I was worried that this place wouldn't be as good as it was when I used to go there 12 years ago with the new owners but it was as good as ever. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waiter was super kind and funny. Love to see this place still thriving.

We were sat pretty quickly but not offered a high chair for our toddler. The restaurant vibe is a little off. Weird decor, cloth napkins, and loud music with the waitress singing very loudly which was annoying. By reading other comments, this is the owner's granddaughter. I heard another waitress tell the granddaughter that a couple of tables left suddenly who were sitting outside because no one checked on them. The granddaughter said rudely to the other waitress "those are your tables. I'm not allowed to touch them." It sounded like she knew the customers were there and didn't do anything to help them or tell the other waitress they were there. Not a very good way to run a business and a staff. We put in our order rather quickly and I had to ask where our food was after waiting for 45 minutes. The granddaughter apologized and said there was a 10 top and a 5 top ahead of us and all they were waiting for was my toddler's PBJ sandwich. The 10 top was sitting right next to us and they had already gotten their food, ate, and paid by the time I asked where our food was and the 5 top was already eating for 10min by the time I asked about our food. We finally got our food after waiting almost an hour for it. The food was good and thankfully hot when it came out. The granddaughter offered us a free dessert to-go for having to wait so long for our food. Specifically to-go like she didn't want us there anymore. We probably won't come here again, but it was fine enough food for lunch right by our hotel.
