FYI: Pictures dont do them justice! This place was a nice surprise. We googled brunch places nearby and the few reviews were all excellent so I was intrigued and Im so glad we went. Upon entry to this house/restaurant, there aren't any signs. Yelp definitely helped us with this one. It is a cozy, quaint home that had their kitchen graciously opened for us so they can share their talent in cooking delicious made from scratch brunch food. You can feel the love and thought in every dish. Come hungry! The servings are generous. Food had good quality, fresh ingredients, Well worth the wait and the price. Everything was 10/10! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful hidden gem! Open at 8:30am- 12ish F-Sun! The best Keto Tiramisu on the planet! Dessert first is a modo they live by. Amazing cookbook collection, salt and pepper collection and player piano! Everything fresh and house made!

    Traditional eggs Benedict

Beyond yum! This is truly a hidden gem with small town charm. It's quaint and cozy- tiny but warm and friendly- i wanted one of everything but settled for the traditional eggs Benedict- and it did not disappoint. The hollandaise sauce was on point! Generous heaps of ham, perfect poached eggs. I should have gotten the rhubarb crumble because even hours later I'm still fantasizing about it- and could have had home made ice cream with it! They're only open 830-11am, Fri-sun, so you gotta be up early and quick, but it is so worth it. The young boy at the seat next to me was extolling the virtues of the biscuits and the solo diner to my left enjoyed her hash- her first time trying it (sounds like she's a regular! I would be too if I lived here!) Next time I'll follow the owners' advice and order dessert first!!

The food and ambiance were exceptional. My fiancé and our friend Laurie enjoyed the omelet, while I had the biscuits and gravy--both dishes were excellent. Glen highly recommends the huevos rancheros. I also had a delightful slice of raspberry pie. The restaurant is cozy yet lively, with only one server and one cook, so patience is required. Highly recommended. One last note - restaurant only seats 16 diners. Enjoy!

I feel so lucky to have happened upon Arr Place on Sunday morning. The road it's on is more like a driveway and the restaurant is the ground floor of a house. There is no signage, just a chalk board that says that they are serving food (or not, if you go any time but Friday, Saturday, or Sunday mornings). There are 14 bar-type seats, and there is a friendly, but not cliquish, vibe. Everything is made in-house. I was lucky to visit when they offered eggs benedict with beef tenderloin (house-made english muffin and hollandaise, of course). My companion had a waffle with a scoop of home-made vanilla ice cream and real maple syrup. We also had a mocha chocolate chip scone to go. Quirky, friendly spot with amazing food.

Delicious food! my family loved the home made cinnamon ice cream on top of the waffle. Took some film photos while I was in. Would love to go back!

I've eaten in quite a few places on the west coast that claim to serve Irish food and I have always been unsatisfied with the authenticity. So I was very surprised and impressed with the food served at Nana's. My experience started with the ambiance. It truly had the feel of a real Irish Pub. This was followed by the hospitality. Our server was amazing. She had great menu suggestions for the people who were eating with us. They have eaten a wide variety of Irish food. She made an excellent selection as to the Irish beer that would best suit my palate. They have several Irish beers on tap. I chose the Smithwicks Red Ale. It was delicious and very enjoyable. Now for the food. Many years ago I enjoyed Steak & Stout Pie in a Dublin Ireland pub. It was really good. I've had it in several locations here back home but it just wasn't the same. So when I spotted the Steak & Guinness pie it peaked my interest and I ordered it. Well I definitely was not disappointed. More so it was like reliving an old pleasant memory. The Steak & Guinness pie was spot on. Every bit as enjoyable as the one I tried in Dublin. I very highly recommend trying this establishment if you're traveling to or through Newport. You will not regret enjoying the food and the experience.

It was a thicker clam chowder, but it was absolutely delicious. Creamy, and they were generous with the ingredients. A very good bowl of chowder. For my main course, I had the combination halibut, king Salmon, and tuna. They were very generous with the portions. The fish was delicious. The halibut and the salmon were tender and juicy. The tuna was just a tiny bit chewier, but it was also very good. The fish was lightly breaded, although a few of the pieces. Were a bit darker than the others. That took away from it just a tiny tiny bit. But overall, successful. The tartar sauce was very good, rich and tangy. Instead of the fries, I finished with the coleslaw. It was not overdressed, and I liked the dressing. It was a sweeter dressing than your standard mayonnaise, but not overly sweet. It was an excellent coleslaw. For all of the quality food I got, the price was very reasonable. I would come back the next time. I'm in town. Thank you!

But the beet salad with ricotta and quinoa was delicious and well presented. We also shared the meat/cheese platter (3 choices for $18): mole salami was really good, Myril lavender goat cheese was excellent and my favorite because of the forward but still subtle lavender flavor, with honey drizzle. And the finocchiona which was tasty because of the fennel flavoring. It was presented with cranberry compote (blah) and a sherry spicy mustard (super yum). And some crostini and crackers. I personally would serve more crackers/crostini with it, we ran out quickly. I had the cocktail Lady on the Flamingo (Jameson, amaretto, orange bitter and ?) and my mother had the Classy Rita. We both really liked the flavors of our cocktail! The restaurant was not busy on a Weekday night. Service was impeccable. And plenty of parking.
