Chill, laid back neighborhood brunch spot. There's plenty of outdoor seating and the restaurant is dog friendly as well. I went on a Sunday afternoon and they had a dj playing old school 70s/80s funk, soul music which was fun. Large TVs outside too, so there were plenty football fans out as well so it's a good venue for large parties. We ordered our food at the bar, grabbed a number and sat down at a table outside and the staff delivered our items shortly after. It probably only took about 15 minutes to come out so not bad. We ordered a mimosa carafe and other brunch items like steak and eggs + chicken and waffles. The food was pretty good and large portions too. I think it only costs around $60 for everything total.

I've been here three times this month celebrating birthdays. My favorite person at the bar is Patty. I enjoy their food, drinks, and atmosphere. Especially on Sundays when we can jam DJ Melodic outside! Can't forget DJ Andi on Saturday nights for karaoke! She is the best!!!

Took my gf on a date there for her first experience. She didn't know this place existed, but she loved it and the food. I had chicken strips and waffles, she had a turkey sandwich.

This place had a very cute, cozy and home like atmosphere which I loved! I believe I may have ordered the wrong thing as I was not crazy about the bacon in the croissamich. It was a bit undercooked to my liking, and was not crispy which was what I was hoping for. However, I had a bite of the chicken biscuit from my friend and it was so delicious! I also loved the nice patio area of the restaurant. Parking is limited at the restaurant, but there is a lot of street parking in the area.

Excellent food, excellent service, fun music and great ambiance on the patio! Plus it's dog friendly, so it's a great post- dog park stop!

Food was great I got the chicken salad and my mom got their salad! Great service you order at the bar and sit down then the foods come to you. Restrooms were clean and it wasn't super loud in there great seating options and some natural light. Parking was definitely a hiccup but we drove in a bigger car. You can park on the street if you find any!

Such great food - huge portions and quick to bring the food out. My one critique is that I wish there were more bathrooms available, the line was quite long when we went. Also be sure to come early and order your food bc the line to order gets LONG. It looks like this spot has great weeknight events. Wish I could come back to partake in drag bingo! Pro-tip: when you come you have to order your food at the bar and then sit down at your table. We didn't know but learned quick.

The food was delicious!! We stopped by here for brunch on a Saturday. They also have a DJ that plays every Saturday starting at 12pm on the patio.

Cute little spot for brunch with outdoor and indoor seating. The patio is perfect for a mild summer day but certainly gets to be hot with the Houston sun. I got the runner's bowl with chicken sausage. I thought flavor was a little lacking and that the bowl tasted a little plain. Good food but nothing to rave about in my opinion.

Piggy's Kitchen & Bar was good. The food was decent, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was solid. But to be honest, nothing really stood out enough for me to make a return visit. It's a perfectly fine spot, just not especially memorable in a city full of standout options.

Steak and eggs. Pretty good, steak needed some more salt

Normally, when I attend this restaurant, I get the chicken and waffles which are pretty good but today I wanted to try a more traditional breakfast so I got pancakes eggs and bacon and I also wanted to try their crawfish so I got a pound of that as well. The traditional breakfast was OK. The pancakes are super big but also kind of dry and thick so I don't think I'll get that again, but the crawfish was very good. They had a very traditional crawfish taste.

Great food and chill atmosphere. You order at the bar and the service is pretty quick. The lox bagel was pretty good. A big portion of smoked salmon and the bagel had a nice chew. The side salad didn't add anything to the plate and I could've done without it. They don't have a parking lot so it's either valet or find a spot on the street.

Met up here with friends on a Monday. It was a perfect day for patio eats and drinks, especially since happy hour is all day on Monday! We started with apps. Each app we ordered was delicious! For the table we ordered: brussel sprouts, queso, fried pickles, and nachos. I tried the frozen Paloma, added tajin to the rim, and it was yummy! Even felt it 1/2 through. For lunch I ordered the red goat salad and added chicken. Unfortunately, they were out of the pecans for the salad, but it was still so good!! My friends ordered the brisket Mac, chicken tender Mac, and brisket fries. Everyone was more than pleased! Will def be back!

What is seating per table outdoors? Do u take reservations? I have party of 6 Sunday afternoon?

When I went a little bit ago, there was ample seating! The regulations suggest now up to 10 people indoors, so it must be more lenient outdoors!

It looked dark, clubbish, and fun (exactly what I was looking for) and I couldn't wait to come here. After a 25 minute Uber ride we were downtown and walking to our destination. At first we could not find it but thankfully a nice gentlemen showed us where it was. Upon walking in, darkness with these bright lights paved our way. We sat down at the bar, but realized dancing did not start until 10pm. The bartender came over and said to us "we have a speakasy behind door #3" we were like WHAT! Let's go. So, we walked down the dark hallway and pushed open door #3 (hence the name) to find this super cool speakeasy bar. Dim lights, really modern decor, comfy suede chairs and best of all, some really great cocktails. If you are ever in Downtown Houston, I highly recommend you coming here. I promise you will have the best time. We did not stay for dancing.

From the moment we arrived, one employee was unnecessarily rude and confrontational toward my friend while checking IDs by saying "are you going to show me your ID or not?!" Later, she grabbed my friend by the arm and made comments like, " Are you ok? Are you sure? Yeah, because I don't play that." When we were leaving, the same employee confronted my friend again simply because my friend looked at her. My friend tried to walk away and get into the elevator, but the employee followed her inside and cornered her. Instead of removing the employee or de-escalating, security blocked the rest of us from entering the elevator while our friend was being confronted. The employee tried to claim that my friend was "trespassing" which made no sense because we were all leaving. We repeatedly explained that we were only trying to get our friend out of the situation, but security did nothing to help. The employee continued following my friend even after she left the elevator. Like I said, disrespectful, aggressive staff and security that seemed completely clueless about how to handle the situation.

To start out, the concept feels like a blend of accents from other popular bars in the area - the hammock chairs from Axelrad, the Adirondack chairs from Truck Yard, and the string light back patio from 8th Wonder. This blend makes it hard to give the bar a true identity. While they do have a large selection of beers on tap, their cocktail menu leaves me feeling lost. I appreciate the attempt to create unique flavor combinations but the options are just...confusing. For example, mezcal with citrus and prickly pear, or a highball with black currant, tequila and apricot. I'm holding on for dear life with all of these ingredients! Going along for the adventure, I tried their pickle cocktail that was on the menu and it was honestly, terrible. While they do have a happy hour that goes until 8pm, the service this last visit just wasn't the best. The server who helped me told me it was his second day and was clearly struggling to keep up with the cocktail combinations, referencing his phone many times while preparing the drink. I ended up not liking this drink and brought it back to the bar with just one sip gone and rather than offering to make me another drink, they kept it on my bill. Ok, whatever. That being said, just before this happened, the couple in front of me went to pay for their bill, prepared drinks in hand, at 8:02pm and the bartender refused to honor the happy hour prices, just two minutes past the official end time. With these two instances, it seems like the priority is maximizing every dollar of profit rather than investing in the customer experience. Given the number of other original concepts in the area, I would pass.
