[[HIGHLIGHT]]I took my 2-year-old in for a trim and left extremely disappointed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the start, I clearly said I wanted to keep the top longer and showed a reference photo (low taper fade with length on top). When she asked about going short on the sides, I clarified again that I wanted the top left long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sides were taken much higher than expected, and once she started cutting the top, there was no saving it. The length I had been growing out for a year was gone within seconds. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Afterward, she asked, "How does it look?" I said, "I wanted it longer on top." She responded, "Oh, I thought you wanted it as short as possible so I kept going shorter and shorter." That was never communicated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now I've got an Avatar Aang and not a Saja Boy! Not cool. I understand my toddler was crying and moving, but this was not just a difficult haircut--it was a clear misunderstanding of a very specific request, even with a reference photo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Given the outcome was the opposite of what was requested, I don't feel this service reflects what was agreed upon. I called and made an appointment for my daughter to get braids and curls for family photos, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked the receptionist who was the best person at that and she advised me that all the employees were good at everything so I went ahead with the appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I got there, her stylist was an older Indian woman that didn't know how to do braids. I asked her several times to make her braids tighter so her hair wouldn't fall apart. She told me she couldn't ,and finally the manager Kristin stepped in and was able to braid her hair . This was a disaster and we will not be coming back here They should know in advance is capable of doing hairstyles before booking the appointment . read more

I don't normally write reviews and could care less about things but this affected my children and honestly myself. I still left the young lady a tip but this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at a child haircut place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were 5 minutes late due to an incident with my daughter. I called ahead of time to let them know we might be a few minutes behind. My appointment was at 140 and we got there at 145. On the phone the young lady contemplated canceling our appointment over it and then said it's ok.. It threw me off but didn't think it was a big deal. We got there and they were behind anyways so it's not like it would have made a difference.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The young lady at the front was not welcoming and was very tense. This is a kids hair cutting place.. I shook it off since our hair dresser was kind as could be and everyone has weird days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The young lady cut my daughter's hair but then it needed to be fixed ..again "no big deal" however she fixed it and blamed it on my 4 year old that it was uneven. My daughter was doing everything she told her and it was a little weird. I kept a good attitude and asked her if she could put the fairy colors in her hair since they offer it. The tense chick at front told her no she couldn't they were behind... something they offer .. told my little girl no that they were behind and she was very obviously insinuating it was because we were 5 minutes late. I ignored it and tried to take my daughter's mind off of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since my daughter has just listened to the hair dresser tell her that her hair was messed up bc she wasn't sitting still. Mind you this is the stillest I've ever seen my little girl sit. She got over it until we went to the car where she cried it out about it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next we have my son. The lady did a great job on his hair. No complaints. During my son's haircut we went to the back room where they have markers etc so my daughter could color. The next client was waiting in there with her 2 year old and the young lady who worked the front came and told her that she had another twenty minutes because they were behind due to other customer and then she stared at me. I am a mother and an adult first but I swear it took everything in me to remember my age. I ignored it still my son got his hair cut and we went to check out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She barely spoke to me or acknowledged me and when I tipped twenty percent for the young lady who did their hair since I am an industry worker and felt for her she scoffed at it and ran to the back. Didn't say goodbye or thank you. Anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a place that is for children. I am not one to normally care about much but this was honestly ridiculous. Not only that we came home and my daughter's hair is still uneven. She has straight as a board hair and got a blunt cut. Nothing crazy. We will never be going back here. read more
