As Pike Market was closing, I was glad to find Pike Place Gifts still open. The gentleman tidying up the shop was kind enough to let me in to do last minute shopping. They have adorable little souvenir magnets and plenty of gifts related to the area. I am only able to make it to Seattle about every 5 years, so I am very grateful I was able to make it inside to do last minute shopping the third week of June this year. read more

Gift Me Up Tiny gift shop located in the doldrums of the Pike Place Market®. We just kind of stumbled in after our initial visit to Pike Place and decided to get our souvenir shopping done. The Good: *While tiny, the store does boast quite an impressive selection of Pike Place, Space Needle™ and Seattle themed tchotchkes, clothes and apparel. If you want it, they most likely got it. The Meh: *Owners seemed a little preoccupied with getting inventory done than helping us. However, it was right before closing time, and I have to admit I'm not exactly all rainbows and sunshine at the end of my work day. The Ugly: *Tourist friendly prices, if you catch my drift. Great selections of Seattle/Pike Place Market gift merchandises with reasonable prices. Christmas ornaments are madly cute. The store has their own exclusive fridge magnet collection. As a small business trying to fight off the pressure of inflation, rocket high rent while keeping the price down, the shop is doing an excellent job. Business owner is over 70 years old and works by himself most of the time, does not speak perfect English therefore a lot of time he comes across as rude but if you get to know him he's so sweet and kind. I love to take my friends from out of town to the shop every time they come visit. Everyone always buy so much cute stuffs and have a wonderful time. read more

The average gift shop is ridiculously overpriced for trinkets and tokens.. $10 miniature snowglobe ?! Come on.... But NOT this place! Pike Place Gifts is smack dab in the middle of the most famous market in America, yet I was able to find .90cent postcards, and a THREE DOLLAR snowglobe. That's right $3 to say: 'I love you. I was shown the total amount of what I purchased, and agreed to the amount being charged. Unfortunately, when I looked through my charges later on the same day, I saw that the amount showing charged to my card was $49.59 for a $15 dollar shirt. They literally changed the total of my purchase! Additionally, they're rude and they don't have good quality merchandise. I highly recommend Seattle Shirt Company across the street from Pikes place. We found for souvenirs, sweaters, hoodies, shirts, mugs, and a huge variety of quality items that are not expensive as this place was. They have a HUGE SELECTION and their prices are good! read more

Why give this place such a low rating? It's a small tourist shop in a tourist place that has all the touristy gifts you would want to give your friends. Sure, Pike Place Gifts has a lot of stuff that can be considered overpriced. If you compare the same stuff you see here with Walgreen's for example, both stores will have the same stuff but the latter will have lower prices. However, if you are looking for last minute gifts and are already in the area, Pike Place Gifts isn't a bad option. I literally came here 2-3 times just to get postcards (5 for $1, $0.25c each, not including tax) as well as small Space Needles (around $13 each). The cashiers here are extremely friendly. It looks like a Korean family owned store. I find no problem coming here and paying a bit more for their touristy gifts if I am in need to. Shop well and prosper, read more

If I could choose 0 stars I would. Not only were they rude and abrasive but they made me feel like a complete moron when I asked a simple question. Hands down the worst run and the worst laid out store I've ever seen and their products are beyond sub par. Disgraceful. What an embarrassment to pike place market. read more

My mixed race 11 and 12 year old grandsons LOVE Pike Street Market. They have been coming here to shop and eat since toddling. Saturday February 11, 2017 5pm the old Asian man working the counter at Pike Place Gifts chewed them out for shopping his store with lidded smoothies in the their hands. Pointed, telling them in front of all customers not to touch anything in his store. I told my grandsons "NEVER spend money where you're not wanted"...we left immediately. E-v-e-r-y time they come to Pike Place Market they shop next door in Market Magic & Novelty where they are helped and treated with respect.
