The pilates reformer classes alone are worth dropping by for a killer workout at a reasonable price point. The pilates instructors are all wonderful and their workout/instruction styles vary. Maggy and Cate are two of the best pilates instructors I've ever come across - I take their classes and I walk out feeling like I am both a jelly roll and also the strongest person on planet earth lol. This is the premiere pilates studio in the area - can't tell me otherwise. I appreciate the variety of other classes (yoga flow, barre, dance, strength & conditioning) to make sure you cross-train your body. The myofascial roll and stretch with Renie completely changed my post-workout stretch routine for the better. The studios itself is thoughtfully designed - I genuinely love to go and you will too.

Wendee is very mindful and knowledgeable about our anatomy and modifies to each individual student. She gives great instructions and seems to come up with unique movements. I enjoyed her challenges into building a stronger me! Her Pilates classes are affordable, $115.00 for 5 classes, $200 for 10, and $25 for a drop-in.

Since attending classes I'm more flexible, have better balance and muscle length. It is a great workout for all body parts. The owner/instructor, Wendee Rogerson, is a Pilates Certified instructor. Wendee is also a certified aerial yoga instructor. With her professional dance background (she has an impressive dance resume!), Pilates training and studies in anatomy, I feel I get a thorough workout with a professional who is paying close attention to my goals and safety. The studio is friendly and clean. The reformers are authentic. Clients are of all ages. There are a variety of class levels and times offered all week. Classes are reasonable prices and free parking (not like studios downtown). Bonus? The studio shares the same parking lot as a health food store! I strongly recommend Scarborough Pilates! I had known her for a couple of months and finally asked her how she looked so great and she told me all she does is pilates and so I decided right then to try it out and I haven't looked back since. Susan and Nancy are both Romana's certified and are very skilled instructors. I always feel safe and comfortable while there. After a few lessons I started noticing better posture and overall just a better awareness of my body, and now I am thrilled with the changes I've made. If you are considering trying pilates DO IT!
