Had my trial period for classpass and decided to finally try out a class here. I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I met my friend for an ALIGN+ // Advanced Traditional Reformer. Parking- I snagged a spot right near crate & barrel. It's a large lot and thankfully since my class was 10am on Sunday, it was easy to find a spot. Checking in with the attendant and they were helpful to get me the straps I needed for my carriage. I really didn't know what to expect but my friend suggested this advanced class because I work out fairly hard in hot yoga and weight lifting and I was delighted what a unique workout this was. My Apple Watch showed I stayed in a zone 1 for most of the workout but the next day, I was sore only in my calves. The instructor was kind, spoke slow and I appreciated when she showed certain moves. As a non-Pilates gal, I liked the calmness of the class and would add it into my routine but not replace my weight lifting. Hot tip: make sure to bring a water, socks with grips and a small towel
This is a nice pilates studio in UTC! I used ClassPass to book a 4:30 Align class with Donna. Check in was very smooth, and I rented loops for class by exchanging my ID. They have a nice selection of grippy socks and loops for sale at the front! Donna was super helpful with helping me adjust the reformer to my height. The class was fun, we did a variety of exercises so it was always interesting. Donna explained/demonstrated everything well so even though I'm still a beginner and this was my first time here, I was able to follow. I do like the variety of moves but I didnt feel super challenged, so I think I prefer other studios' flow. Overall a great option for a pilates class in UTC!
I have been going to Pilates republic for a while and I absolutely love it. I love that they offer a variety of different Pilates reformer classes, so I can take different types of classes for whatever I'm feeling that day. Teachers are incredible, staff is friendly and I always leave feeling great!
Pilates Republic is my favorite Pilates studio in San Diego! They were one of the first studios I tried out when starting reformer Pilates, and I've never turned back. I love that there are a wide variety of class types to choose from, from traditional Pilates to cardio, strength, barre, and yoga fusion classes. My personal favorite instructors are Julia and Mary Kate, but there are genuinely so many wonderful and supportive instructors. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a challenging but fun low-impact workout!
Always wanted to check this place out, as it is right next to PVOLVE. They have an intro $30 for 3 classes, and afterwards you can either sign up for a monthly membership (50% off) or do a class package for $50 off. I tried both the Renew- Reformer/ Yoga Sculpt plus the HIIT Cardio Reformer. The Renew Reformer Yoga Sculpt was a good intro for me. The instructors and some nice people beside me showed me how to switch the rings for length. I had always wanted to try Pilates but was always intimidated by the machine. Like I just don't understand how to use it and/or it looked complicated. The instructors will guide you on what color springs to use for weight etc. I loved my last class too- it used a jump board. No clue what that was and now that I tried it I totally loved it. I enjoy bouncing off the board while doing side kicks etc and building strength in other poses. Their boutique sells the Pilates grip socks but you can also get them at ALO or some other store if you prefer a different length. I can't wait to go back & will likely try the class package until I can figure out my schedule. Literally I could not handle a class that went beyond 45 min ha ha. Even the active recovery before the cool down is no joke for someone like me - who has often worked 12+ hour days and hasn't really done high intensity work-outs in a while. Haven't tried the other locations but excited to try a myriad of other classes. Cheers to another clean work out space that builds alignment and refinement.
Started my Pilates journey here and enjoyed the class formats. Would recommend trying all of the formats to see what you enjoy the best. My personal favorites are the Heat and Align classes. I've had great experiences at both the UTC location, as well as, the Del Mar location. Both locations are clean and well maintained.
Absolutely love coming here to workout! Everyone is so nice and friendly. I always have an amazing workout and I just feel so motivated to keep pushing through and challenge myself. The studio has a bathroom and everything is always so clean. Each class is usually 45 - 50 mins and there's a bunch of different classes to try out! I love taking Alba's classes she's amazing! There's a huge parking lot! The closest one is outdoors right in front of blue bottle and it is free under 2 hours.

New to this location, I love the size of the studio and the amount of Reformers. Despite a full class, it wasn't overwhelming at all and the AC was at a perfect and comfortable level. Taking the Pilates Traditional Reformation class under Cameron was wonderful and she kept us working! I love that there's a front desk here and there's several merchandise to look through even as a drop-in. Lockers can be used and are wide enough to fit plenty of items. Instructor uses a microphone headset and was pretty clear in her directions. Overall felt very great after class. They text you with specific directions on where to park. I was worried at first if I was parked wrong but it was absolutely handy and you can quite literally walk out from your car towards the mall and glance straight towards the studio. It specifically says to do the second story of the parking garage but parking on the first level works just as fine. *they don't validate parking for the UTC since class is only one hour and UTC offers 2 hours for free read more

Beautiful Pilates studio and amazing workout! I had been to the Del Mar location a long time ago, and it was nice to check out this UTC location inside the mall. This is located near the newer extension of the mall and easy to find. Staff were friendly and nice! The instructor provided good instruction and modifications. We used various different parts of the reformer machine including the jump board. I was sore from their HIIT Reformer Cardio class and looking forward to coming back again soon! read more

I go to the Pilates Republic UTC location five times a week, and it has been amazing for my lower back disc issues and pelvic pain. The instructors are all highly professional and friendly, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive experience. Pilates Republic is my favorite Pilates studio in San Diego. I've tried many studios around the area but I keep getting drawn back to this specific studio in UTC I love how easy it is to book classes in advanced and how you can choose from a variety of different classes. I highly recommend align because it is my favorite (slightly challenging but fun). I've also was able to try the Del Mar Studio, it's slightly more spacious. I hope they open one in the LA area soon so I can go there when visiting my family! read more

I started Pilates as a New Year's resolution this year. I love the convenient location at utc, the clean space and the range of classes offered. I was a total beginner and was pretty nervous about trying a class, but it didn't take long for me to pick up the basics and even be able to attend empower classes!
