Empty restaurant on a Saturday night
    Bethany M.

I'm done with this place - this is the second time that we've placed an order for pickup and been kept waiting 30+ minutes past the designated pickup time. Tonight the restaurant is virtually empty, but the excuse is "we had a large party come in." If that's the case, I don't see said large party? And also: don't accept takeout orders that you can't fulfill on time. This is just bad service. I have eyes, I can see. You have TWO round tables seated.

This is the largest selection of dim sum I've ever seen, so I'll give them that. There's interesting items I haven't encountered before like the (Football)Crispy Fried Pork Dumpling, House Special Chiu Chow Dumpling, and deep fried taro dumplings. The chiu chow dumpling was hard to eat because the wrapper was so thick and gummy. The "beef" in the beef rice rolls looked and tasted strange - not like beef. It was like some sort of mush that tasted slightly sweet. The stuffed eggplant was way too overdone and super greasy. Actually everything was super greasy, but I guess that's all Chinese food. Even my favorite dim sum dish of radish cakes didn't taste that great. It seemed to be missing something. I piled a bunch of chili on top to make up for it. The restaurant is huge with tons of different areas for seating. Some are better than others, but it depends on how busy they are. There was a dead bug like a flea or mosquito looking thing on my booth seat the first time I came here, and that was right when it opened at 11am that day. Water never gets refilled unless you ask. I had multiple issues with the tablet used for ordering. I could scroll and add items, but then I couldn't remove them or press the "call waitstaff" option. Others tried and had the same thing happen.

Came here for dinner and the food was okay. We found the dishes to be a bit on the bland side which was a little disappointing. I like how they had a variety of dishes to choose from though. The service was nice and they were really attentive on checking up on us and refilling our tea pot. I would come back here again to try out their dim sum since that's what they are mainly known for.

The egg tofu dish was incredible! It was so savory and flavorful and it made me eat the broccoli because it was so good covered in the sauce. I felt so healthy. The food came out fast and the service was efficient. The ambiance of the place was festive and authentic - I would definitely come back to try the dim sum!

Went back here for their dinner dishes and it did not disappoint! I can still say that this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Shoreline / North Seattle area. All the dishes that we ordered were so good, this includes the pecking duck, crispy pan fried noodle, and Mongolian beef. The duck was so crispy that paired so well with the bun, hoisin sauce, and sliced green onion. The Mongolian beef was so tender with perfect sweet and savory taste, and I loved the onions that were sautéed with the beef. The crispy pan fired noodle was very crispy and delicious, though needed a bit of soy sauce and chili oil to flavor it up. Overall, I'm super impressed and will be back. The service was also excellent and food came out quick even on a weekend.

Big portions, authentic dishes and delicious flavors. Be prepared for your dishes to come out at random times. At dinner there's no dim sum. Our dishes were uniformly hot and delicious. Servers were mostly fine. I ordered an Arnold Palmer because it's on the menu but the server must have thought I was kidding (?) because he laughed and didn't bring it. I'm happy to return as long as I don't have to wait - luckily the lines have died down, at least for dinner. Chicken with vegetables had excellent veggies. No fillers like water chestnuts. It had Bok choy, zucchini, broccoli. Ma po tofu had fresh peas but could have had more flavor. Highlight was the Pan-fried Beef Vermicelli With Black Pepper Sauce. A unique dish!

Favorite in the top right - crab, scallop, and shrimp dumpling

It's hard for me to give five stars for a dim sum spot but I do enjoy Triumph a lot. Great to see that they opened a location in Shoreline so I can avoid driving all the way to Kent. Overall, service and atmosphere were good. Food wise, the dumplings are fairly large compared to what I grew up eating and the dumpling skin is thicccc. The dim sum quality is just okay. Everything felt a bit overcooked because the thick dumplings would break apart as soon as we grabbed them with our chopsticks. The flavors were good though - my favorite dish today was their crab, scallop, and shrimp dumpling. Since there aren't a lot of dim sum spots north of the ID, I'd continue coming back here.

Came on Saturday @ 1pm - no wait, seated immediately. Pot of jasmine green tea is $4. What I loved is you order through a tablet, so no miscommunications & able to view photos of the food. The shrimp dumplings are HUGE! I normally can eat 2 servings but could only eat one since double in size. Tasted great, the spare ribs too! The pork shu mai tasted very fishy, wasn't great. Some folks said the dishes were expensive, but I'd say it was average price for dim sum. We would come again!

Came here with the friends for dim sum. On a Sunday we came at 11am there were three tables ahead of us so the wait was minimal. We ordered from a tablet. I love that so we can be quick. We got shu mai, chicken feet, egg tart hk style, bbq pork pastry and bun, seaweed roll, jade crispy shrimp cheung fun, century egg congee, radish cake, scallop and shrimp dumpling, eggplant shrimp, and the glutinous rice with chicken. So the not so good or meh- the eggplant with shrimp was bland. The bbq pork bun and pastry were both not outstanding. I like the bbq pork to be a bit sweeter. The scallop and shrimp dumpling had almost no scallop so tasted like a har gau, which is fine but not what I was expecting. The decent- the eggplant tart was flaky but the pastry layers are a bit thick, so the pastry was a bit oily. But the custard was good. The congee was kind of nice, not fishy or salty but hope it had more century egg in it. The shu mai was good, like average good shumai. The radish cake was also good, good flavor and not too oily. The good- the jade shrimp cheung fun is what I think is special here and loved the fried dough with shrimp in the cheung fun. Overall, good dim sum!

Finally got to try this place because there was such a long wait before. Tip: they said they're low time is around 11 AM or 1 PM. And they say you can call in for a reservation for groups larger than six. Food: everything was pretty good. We got the basics just to try out all the different options. They ha gow (shrimp dumplings) were really big and plump and juicy so that was really good. Their shumai was really yummy as well and really large. We splurged on the truffle shumai and they were worth it. We especially like the pineapple pork pie. And their Portuguese egg tarts were really yummy as well. We did encounter an issue where one of the buns were not steamed properly so they were cold inside and once we told them, they resteamed it and gave us a complementary dish as well. Another thing was the chicken feet was not seasoned as well as I would like and I think they could've that longer as well to make it more tender. Pricing was pretty reasonable and so I will definitely go back and try more of their dishes and maybe even their dinner options too.

Deep-Fried Taro Dumplings With Pork Filling Supreme Crispy Shrimp Egg Rolls(D)
    Ngoc R.

Food was good. We got to try some items we don't typically see or order at other dim sum places. Like the crispy shrimp green rolls and deep fried taro balls with pork. They had a lot of other truffle and specialty items on the menu we look forward to trying next time. Service was great the Thai lady at the front of the house was super friendly. She let us know the dim sum wasn't all day on weekends which is good info! We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait for a group of 3 although almost every table was full. Prices leaned higher but you do get better portions and service than TnT seafood. Around $95 for 7 items.

This place surprised us, it's got some fun items here as well as classics. It's a bit on the pricey side, but a nice splurge now and then. The portions are humongous too. Service was really friendly too. We got truffle Xiao long bao and a truffle shu mai. Opinions were mixed at our table whether the truffle flavor was present. Nice to try but of course pricier. We got ha gao and they were big, skin was nice and chewy. We also ordered the one that had scallops in it, was good but again massive. The beef chow fun was ok, gets a bit tough as it cools. The spinach infused buns were interesting. Shrimp rice rolls were classic. The purple yam mochi with salted egg yolk lived up to expectations. I'm not a huge lava egg yolk buns fan but it worked so well with the crispy and chewy texture of this and perfect balance of sweet and salty. The black and gold buns were not as good, didn't look very appetizing inside lol. Portuguese egg tart was interesting... Texture was unexpected. If you imagine it as an eggy short bread cookie then you'd like it. But If you're expecting a Portuguese egg tart then you'll be disappointed. The egg part also seemed over cooked. Overall, would come back for sure, just knowing some items are better than others

Garlic Honey Spareribs, Deep Fried Chive Dumplings, House Special Seafood Fried Rice
    Kristine G.

New Triumph Valley location up north. The interiors look nice and clean. We got the Deep Fried Chive Dumplings, Crispy Pork Intestine, String Beans w/ Garlic Sauce, House Special Seafood Fried Rice, and Garlic Honey Spareribs. Everything we ordered was good. Service could be improved though. Our string beans were forgotten and took long to get to our table even after we followed up. It also felt like we were forgotten and it was quite difficult to grab their attention to follow up on our order and to get our check.

Service is friendly, kind, quick, and welcoming. We ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer which had the perfect crunch. For our main entrees we shared the duck, shrimp chow mein, and the dry-fried string beans. Everything was amazing. The best chow mein I've ever had to be honest. The dry-fried string beans were the star of the show as they were so flavorful and delicious! Such an amazing experience. Free and easy parking which matters to me and wonderful service! Also nearby the bus lines. The food was soooo good. I can't wait to try more of the menu. Definitely a nice date spot or family meal. I recommend and will be returning!

Since it was our first time, we ordered a lot, knowing we would have leftovers. Had the fried pork buns, the boiled beef and onion dumplings, the sesame balls, shumai steamed, orange chicken, chow mein, green beans and oil sticks. My oh my, what a feast and we brought home as much as we ate! I would say the winners were the beef and onion dumplings and the green beans (OMG I could have just ordered these and made a meal of them!)-- but other stand outs were the shumai, and the orange chicken. I think you can skip the oil sticks, (kind of bread like with out a lot of flavor), and would go with the hunan noodles instead of the chow main. The fried pork buns were doughy with out very much meat inside. All in all, a great place. Will definitely go back! That's my favorite kind of dim sum restaurant, and this place absolutely delivers. From the moment we sat down, the carts were rolling by nonstop, stacked with steamers and fresh plates. There's just something special about being able to see everything before you choose, it makes the whole experience feel lively and traditional. I was SO excited when I spotted taro puff on one of the carts. Not every dim sum restaurant carries it, which is tragic because it's easily one of my favorite dishes. These were perfect. The had a crispy, lacy exterior with that light, fluffy taro filling inside and a savory center. I immediately grabbed a plate and was prepared to eat the entire thing if no one else wanted to try it. The siu mai was solid and flavorful, the har gow had a nice translucent wrapper with juicy shrimp inside, and the chicken feet were especially good. They were very tender, well seasoned, and cooked just right. The steamed spareribs were another standout. They were super flavorful and not overly fatty. Overall, this is exactly what I want in a dim sum experience with the bustling atmosphere, carts rolling around, and all my favorite classics (taro puff!). If you love traditional cart style dim sum, this place is definitely worth a visit. Everything was so tasty.

We had to ask for water three separate times, including going up to the host stand because nobody checked on our table. When the water finally arrived, it had a strong musty taste that was unpleasant enough that none of us wanted to drink it. The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed annoyed whenever my mother or aunt asked questions, and there were several instances where responses felt abrupt or dismissive. What made it more frustrating was seeing much friendlier interactions with surrounding tables. We never felt welcomed as guests. I understand automatic gratuity for larger parties, but the mandatory 20% gratuity felt difficult to justify given the level of service we received. Had tipping been left to our discretion, I would have left considerably less. The food also fell far below expectations, especially for the price point: * The walnut shrimp still had waste material visible in the tail. * The salt and pepper calamari was overwhelmingly salty, lacked pepper flavor, and came with burnt shallots. * The beef and broccoli was covered in a thick, gelatinous sauce with noticeable clumps of cornstarch. * Our party of six was given only two small bowls of rice to share. To make matters worse, I felt nauseous after the meal despite generally having a strong stomach. Overall, the combination of poor service, underwhelming food quality, and high prices made this a disappointing choice for what should have been a celebratory family meal.

Not my thing. There was a big bowl of pork chunks cooked in a wok and I had a few of those but again, I had to watch out for too much salt. A friend had brought Prosecco to share and I accidentally drank a little bit before realizing it was alcohol and gave it to someone else. And that DID make me mad, more than the salt issue. I was never a big fan of wine, beer, or martinis but Prosecco is light and crisp and I truly wanted it...sigh. Oh, well. The waiter kept bringing us cold water and various hot tea.
