Sometimes the old restaurants that have been a favorite and a neighborhood staple need a shout out and recognized for their food, service and dedication to their customers. Service was excellent - he was training a new server and he was definitely the one who should be training new servers. He was attentive without being pushy. I'm a nut for French Onion soup and this one is legit (see picture). This was the pick three deal with soup/salad/sandwich. I like a meal that ends up with leftovers so this was a solid deal. It's not the most charming of ambiance because we sat outside, so basically had a view of the parking lot. Inside might have been better but there's only like three days in Cincinnati where you can sit outside comfortably so we ended up on the sidewalk. I don't know if I'd necessarily make it part of my rotation, but I was impressed with the service, the food, and the pricing, so I'd definitely throw it out there as an option if I'm in the area.
