Very nice ambiance and a great selection of brews... I particularly liked the choices by Funkytown Brewery.

A great location to meet up with friends or get some work done. Lots of street parking in the area, lots of couches and tables to settle into and a really unique small batch beer, cider, kombucha, and coffee options, including a wine/beer hybrid that is pretty fantastic. I like that most things on the menu can be ordered as tasters or as flights and the charcuterie board is pretty spot on as well if you need to soak up a bit of the booze to finish that project you came in to work on. The staff was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and there's a patio outside for the summer months. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is a great brewery in Logan Square! We reserved our spot online and it was super easy once we showed up. The place is very COVID-19 friendly and they let you order everything on your phone. The beer was great and the staff was super friendly. The brewery has all types of seating and their are some great outdoor glass rooms that look like they would be great for a group setting. If you want the best atmosphere that is perfect for you- no matter what your personality or style is! The concept of Pilot Project is so unique. They actually only brew 2 beers that they can call theirs, BUT they brew recipes of other breweries! This really reinforces the "Pilot." Going back to the vibes, there is a great modern aesthetic to this microbrewery. Everyone can be invited- no awkwardness if you don't match the scene because the scenes is inclusive. Obviously I should probably rate the beers here...however, I was saucing on the $14 beer flights. If this helps, there wasn't a bad beer I had! Look out for the double IPA tho... They also host plenty of events of a wide variety. They definitely make a great use of their space. Just come here and come love this experience I had! 10/10 read more

My friend and I randomly stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon for the first time. WOW! Super impressed.. unique menu, chill atmosphere and the nicest laid back guys inside helping people. I got a lava lemonade for my walk and a crowler of the blonde stout to go. Both were awesome...the beer was REALLY good. I shared it with my partner and he agreed it was one of the most unique stouts he has had. We are planning a visit back soon! This was a fun place to spend an hour or two and grab a drink. The interior is beautiful and trendy. I can definitely see why there seemed to be a fair amount of people working on their laptops here. We quickly found two cozy armchairs and were able to order our drinks remotely using the QR codes, which was really cool. My husband enjoyed his beer (honestly I don't remember what he got), while I had the best kombucha of my life here. Honestly, it was delicious, and this is coming from someone who brews her own. It was pretty good but I wish the lavender was stronger...however every time I burped after I got a lavender taste. My friend ordered the Seoul Matcha and said it was sweeter than expected - it tasted like 50% matcha with 50% white sugar. This is a very dope spot. Highly recommend booking one of the cabanas online because chicago winters are only gonna get colder from here. The cabana was large and spacious. There was heating but since the doors are always open it is still cold so you absolutely must bring a coat or dress in warm clothes. This place has a great system going on: you order and pay via an app on your phone and the restaurant brings it to your table. Service was prompt and both the food & drink selection was great. I wanted to try a new place to get some work done and I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. This place is very open and spacious with plenty of seats and tables for all (patio is open during the warmer weather). This place offers both coffee (served until 4pm) and alcoholic beverages. I love their concept of having local brewers and allowing them to introduce their products to the community. I wanted coffee but couldn't decide what I wanted so I went for the Latte Flight. It was pretty cool how I was able to choose 3 of the 5 lattes they have to offer. I went with the Parisian Rose Latte, Himalayan Lavender Latte, and the Forbidden Orchard Latte (recommended by one of the bartenders). I loved how they presented the latte flight, 3 little cups (4.5oz) on a wooden board. Rating the 3 lattes by how much I liked it, it would be: 1. Forbidden Orchard Latte: this was my favorite! I enjoyed the almondy flavor the coffee had. 2. Himalayan Lavender Latte: was sweet, tasted like lavender. 3. Parisian Rose Latte: if you like the taste of rose, go for this. My taste buds didn't enjoy this that much. This place also has some daily deals! I will have to check out the wines and beers when I come back! read more

Came for the coffee and the amazing workspace. The Parisian Rose latte and River's End latte that we had were both good. All the lattes seem to only come in one size (my eyeball estimate is 12 oz based on the mug). They also use metal straws for cold drinks! Just a heads up: pastries and coffee are available only until 4pm! Their baked goods are supplied by Aya Pastry, which just opened in West Town and is owned by Aya Fukai, a Michelin-starred pastry chef. This place couldn't be more suitable for doing work. Plenty of natural light, a couple of tables, outlets, self-serve water, and good WiFi. They have these wide leather/faux leather couches that are so wide, it allowed me to do work while sitting cross-legged--just FYI in case anyone else finds that comfy too ;) Staff walks around to pick up empty mugs/glasses and ask you if you need anything. And although it's a taproom, they don't rush to get you out if you're doing work on your laptop (I've had that happen to me before at a coffee shop-slash-bar) even if it's nighttime. The patio is pooch-friendly, and the entire space is family-friendly. When I went there on a Saturday, I saw a good mix of pups, kids, and groups! read more

The inside is roomy with tasteful decorations and comfy looking couches. What drew me to this brewery was the range of beer, ciders, and kombucha. I want to try everything. I'll be a regular here before I know it. I ordered a flight with lavender kombucha, blueberry kombucha, Mr Sparkles (farmhouse ale), and the red cider. Mr Sparkles was my least favorite due to a malty flavor. I was expecting more lemon. I also tried the Mexican lager, which was smooth and creamy. I'm a fan. Love love love this place!!!! Gorgeous inside and outside patio. The vibe and lighting definitely setup the space to be a upscale chill vibe that the great staff enhance. The space feels great for groups and for coming in for after work happy hour. In the mornings there's even more selections I've yet to explore. I look forward to seeing how they'll make use of the space in the winter and how they'll evolve over time (maybe live music or events?). I've also seen them partnering with food trucks which is honestly the way to my heart. In regards to beer, what we all care about, the selection is amazing. I recommend going for the rotating IPA selections (Mañana de Mallorca is nice and fruity!) and the House IPA is bomb. I have to keep coming back to check out the other selections, and the flights are a good way of checking out a little bit of everything. In regards to food, I've had the cheese-y waffles and they pair nicely with the rest of the menu. Went recently for a chill work meeting. The outdoor beer garden is a great space - although the El goes by constantly, making it difficult to hold a conversation. The beer and food was good. Came here while waiting for ramen wasabi the other night. We were walking by and the space looked intriguing. The space is really cool. Not your typical brewery. It's a lot nicer than a typical brewery. Kind of artsy in a non-hipster way if you will. We ordered the charcuterie board and the people I was with got a beer and cbd cider. The board was good, I really enjoyed the jam it was served with and wish there was more. I didn't try the cbd cider, but my cousin said it was interesting. I wish I did, so I guess I need to come back. I like the idea. There's also a good kombucha selection which I enjoy. This was the perfect place to work for the day! The space is so cozy and perfect for working - lots of outlets, quiet music, and plenty of natural light. When I arrived, I was a little disappointed to find that they do not start serving their food menu (including waffles) until 4pm. But, I chose an apple galette from the bakery case that ended up being delicious! The filling was great, but the best part was the sugary cinnamon-y crust surrounding the apple filling. I also got the lavender latte. I'm not the biggest fan of the coffee they brew, but I did really love the lavender syrup. It was delicious without being overwhelming. Finally, toward the end of the day, I tried a flight with the house ale, house stout, coffee ale, and apple spiked kombucha. They were all fantastic! Went on a date here, the ambiance is off the blue line makes it impossible to have a conversation. Almost half of their beverages were out of stock, so I tried a hard kombucha and personally hated it. I also ordered the 15$ nachos that are no better than ballpark nachos.
