I Think $10 or $8 would be more realistic for such a small amount of games and no central air. Several of the games buttons weren't working and the are two-player shooting games on the floor where he's only got one gun. Otherwise, I think it's a great place. Eric the owner said has he is going to be moving to a much larger location and he has games in storage. I hope that when he moves he doesn't pack things so tightly and leaves more room to navigate. I also liked that he had a super NES system setup in the back on a TV. But again it was too hot to play. I did like that there were a lot of games here that weren't at arcadians such as, Time Pilot and Moon Patrol.

The rooms were laid out well. The system of getting clues is fairly straightforward. The clues and rooms were fun. It felt a bit rehearsed telling you the rules, which are important. I think it would be nice to have more of an engaging experience with the staff. I will continue to support them and bring more people through. Hoping I don't feel like a number next time but like I'm actually in an experience. Other experiences I have done in California the staff is very animated and engaging. I was honestly appalled by the explicit solicitation of reviews. There were signs to "review us on Google" on EVERY pole in the building, and the poor employee had to give a speech (that was clearly mandatory) about "my manager really appreciates if you leave 5 star Google reviews blah blah blah" at the end of our experience. It was so uncomfortable and off putting. 2) The decor and entrance, as other reviewers have mentioned, leave a lot to be desired. The escape room itself was a-okay, but the waiting area and "party room" both felt very sparse and dungeony. If you're planning to book any kind of party here, I would go see the space prior to committing. The "party area" is back by the bathrooms and not private. The rest really was fun and wonderful! We had fun picking our team name, the employees were great and helpful and kind, and the room was the perfect blend of difficult and engaging. Overall, I would say go and enjoy. I don't know how it compares to competitors since this was my first escape room in years, but this is a solid option for dates and groups alike.

It's light and bright and pretty old school, they have a bartender, nice staff and good food. It was all done up for Christmas as this was the time I went. I believe to become a member you have to be sponsored to join basically like any private club. If asked to join you have "basically arrived" I don't doubt they have other events, like a wedding, prom and other parties as long as your sponsored by a member this is my thought. This past August, I got a chance to watch the Mets take on the home-team Red Wings as part of a corporate event. The schedule gods were friendly so I could root for my hometown team as a visitor to this pretty ballpark. Innovative Field is nestled in downtown Rochester and has a cool backdrop of some of the city's buildings. I really liked that the park is part of their downtown's identity as Syracuse's is not. Parking was nearby and fairly easy to find. Their gift shop is expansive and had lots of fun items to take home including their alternate jerseys (the garbage plates) and some of the diversity night jerseys and hats. I browsed but didn't buy. Food is pretty standard fare though they have a cool pub style area to get a beer and it has tv's to watch the action while you're enjoying a drink. For some reason, the hot dog buns are like a italian sub roll and engulf the dog - too heavy for a bun and too bready. Not sure what local place they are supporting, but this was my only complaint about their food. As with any park, your mileage may vary with the sunshine/sunset depending on which side you sit on. We sat in an outfield area near the scoreboards and it was pretty brutal :) Overall, a great place to watch a ballgame. I've been to better, but this one is a gem for Rochester-area baseball fans.
