I'm also providing an update on my situation with the replacement Quattro cleaner I received in March 2024. (See my previous review.) First off, hats off to Marco for going ABOVE AND BEYOND for me relative to this product! I'm not sure anyone else would have made this much effort, but he truly values his longtime customers. The new Quattro did not even last 20 months! Starting in September, I noticed the cleaner was not climbing the pool walls properly. It then no longer rotated and would stall at the steps. Marco has been trying to discover what is at the center of this malfunction for several months, replacing various parts in an attempt to get it to work properly. He contacted his local Fluidra representative and they first said the Quattro was out of warranty. Marco would not take that position as a final answer. He requested the manufacturer send an entire new set of "guts" and he replaced every part FREE OF CHARGE. Sadly, the Quattro still does not run properly. I'll be looking to buy a new cleaner in the Spring, but Marco was not finished. He is working with the representative to see what discount I would receive on a future Quattro should I decide to stay with this manufacturer. (Not sure I will do that given the quality problems with this cleaner and the fact the manufacturer does not stand behind its defective product.) However, I give Marco extra credit to attempt to get me the best deal possible. Therefore, a huge amount of thanks and gratitude given to Marco and The Pool Pleaser for standing up for their repeat customers. They wouldn't do that and instead wanted to call/text before they came over. That would have been great but they didn't even do that. I let my dogs out one day and some guy I've never seen before was standing in my backyard. My dogs went nuts. He sprayed them with water in an effort to not get attacked. The company couldn't commit to a day to come and give an estimate. Then I saw a listing for the Pool Pump Guy in Longwood so I gave him a call on New Year's Eve and he texted me right back and asked me to send him a photo of my Pump. He told me how to easily and safely remove the pump from the filter and the power supply. I was reluctant to do so but he gave easy to follow steps and within 10 minutes I successfully removed and brought to Jay's shop. Turns out my pump was badly damaged from pebbles that got into my filter and pump. Solution: Jay ordered me a brand new pump and I had it the next morning at 10. Jay set it up in the shop with new gaskets, lube, and reconnected my power supply then gave me simple, safe instructions how to reconnect. Total time to reconnect the pump was about 15 minutes. Only needed a screwdriver to connect the wires. Powered up and wow! Everything worked perfectly. No leaks, no trouble. And the suction power is phenomenal! The pool system has never worked this well before! Jay is a genius at his trade and was able to instruct me how to do this myself, safely and quickly and saving me hundreds of dollars and a lot of time. I wish every repair business was as honest and helpful as this one. I highly recommend Jay for any pool pump!
