Wow!! My husband had the snow crab and I had coconut shrimp. Both were amazing! It came with fries and Cole slaw and both were also outstanding. Fresh cut fries that were super crispy!! Ok the kids eat free gets us in every time wile in FMB even though bill is almost the same as places that don't have that offer. The server was top notch 10 out of 10. He kept the drinks full and another glass on standby so we didn't need to ask for refills. This is our second time here eating with 6+ people and the only thing that almost everyone in our group had to say both times is if the Famous Fish had seasoning from the kitchen! Went here for dinner with my girls. Easy place to stop if your leaving Ft Myers Beach. Very big inside. Food and service were good. Lots of parking. We went early (4:30pm) so it wasn't crowded. My mother and i went here around 9:20pm since everything closes early. They close around 11pm, there were 2 other families but they were finishing up. we sat down and ordered the conch fritters, which were chewy but okay. i ordered the fried grouper sandwich with garlic bread and fries. the only bit of flavor on that plate was the garlic bread. no matter how much tartar sauce or salt/pepper you put on it, it was still bland. the fries were cooked in oil that tasted ancient. my mom got the blackened grouper sandwich, the closest thing to compare it to was air. no flavor, there was barely any blackening seasoning. we ate some of our food and needed the check, the waiter had disappeared for a while and didn't come back. my mom had to go find him, he was sitting behind a counter on his phone talking with a coworker. everyone was nice, but were not sure if it was because we were the last customers, but it was only around 10 at that time. everyone including the manager were on they're phones sitting at tables. i understand wanting to close early, i work in hospitality myself. we wont be back, hopefully it was only that bad because it was a bit later. read more

When so many restaurants were closed due to complications post-Milton, we were SO delighted to find Pinchers on San Carlos open and fully functioning for dinner service. We were seated at a window side table and had a great pre-sunset view of water view beyond. Then to the menu; great variety and tastes, lots to pick from. We were very fortunate to have the attention of our server David. When you look up "top-notch service" his name should appear there. As to a consummate dining professional, he's IT! He provided the suggestion on the menu that I ordered, shrimp with an orange-honey coating (oh YUM) not to mention the 2 for 1 Sangria offering. We did the call ahead seating but it wasn't necessary at lunch. I think we were with four other groups of four. The restaurant was in good shape. There is plenty of free parking. We started with the two for one margaritas. My spouse and I feel it is our civic duty to prevent the spread of scurvy by taking in a certain amount of lime juice in the form of margaritas. It's a tough job but someone has to do it. No "scurvy dogs" at our house. Stone crabs have been in season for about a week. My spouse loves crab. Her favorite is stone crab. I don't get it. She talks about it being sweet. She used to give me a taste but it is a lost on me. So I let her have it all. She looks so happy! I had the blackened grouper. It had a fair amount of bones in it--so watch out. The best part of the meal was our server , Shyanne. It wasn't real busy so she chatted with us. She had been at the establishment for two years. This place is what I would call a hidden gem except it's not hidden since it's on the main road! Nice atmosphere and lots of room. Absolutely fantastic! Great witchstaff too. They were very attentive and also were able to get me seated quickly at 5 PM on July 16. Ok just got my Glazed salmon meal!! Got coleslaw and garlic mashed!!! Mmmmm!! Mmmmm!! Check out the pictures. Can I just say I'm highly satisfied with the weight stuff, the quality of food and the fact that there was no wait. For the price this place was a great deal. We had two sets of appetizers, three main entrees, two beers, and dessert all for less than $100. The oysters were good. I enjoyed the horseradish that they paired it with. Really enjoyed the claw appetizers. The butter garlic sauce was quite tasty. My daughter ordered the shrimp scampi pasta which was a bit on the salty side, but still very tasty. I had the crab cakes which were just a bit too bready. But the beans and coleslaw were well made. I also shared the crab with my husband. It was in the same buttery garlic sauce and I really enjoyed the flavor. The key lime pie was also very tasty. It was similar to a cheesecake with a subtle tangy lime flavor. I would definitely love to go back if given the chance. I'll just pass on the crab cake for next time. read more

Goodness were we disappointed. Car rental staff recommended for the view but our meal sadly was so overpriced and so awful. We left feeling defeated and sad. We ordered the soft shell crab and the black grouper. The grouper came out cooked the wrong way and the crab was cold in the middle so maybe frozen? Not sure. The fries looked cooked perfectly until you picked them up then they were so soggy. Sad. :( they were beautiful hand cut fries and I was excited with my eyes and crushed when I took a taste. Our favorite restaurant. We love everything about this place. I bought lots of gift cards after the Ian. Its been open and it does not disappoint. For seafood you cant go wrong. I always recommend to my renters. and occasionally i have a coupon to pass along. for years my favorite was the oysters and the Keylime pie but steer away from both of those now. The Raw oysters are horrible now. there not a good taste. And the pie is a different recipe. its not made with key limes and its just like whip cream. 2nd worst pie I have ever had.
