Lovely dining experience with a friendly knowledgable waiter. Very clean and welcoming environment. I was delighted with my lobster & crab stuffed shrimp with veggie risotto & asparagus. The asparagus was over cooked but the shrimp & risotto were very good. My nephew loved his scallops toped with lobster & crab. Portion were liberal & we had to go boxes. My husband said his chicken was better the next day. Go figure. Would love to go back and try another entrée.

Wow! If you are looking for an elevated dining experience in Sanibel/Captiva, this is the spot! We had great service and Hannah was incredibly knowledgeable in navigating some dietary restrictions. Upon hearing that I am gluten free, she immediately put in an order of gluten free bread for the table. We enjoyed the shrimp and lobster cocktail before our main courses. I got the (gluten free) blackened snapper, but the watermelon cucumber salad side completely stole the show. The grouper (atop lobster risotto) also looked and smelled incredible! We finished our meal with a classic creme brûlée. We also enjoyed the Tween Waters holiday light display! All in all, a 5 meal.

Stayed here at tween waters and had dinner here. The service was amazing. As a staff they were on top of it. My salad as a starter was delicious. I had the steak special and it so hit the spot. Garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Others got halibut and that was a hit. Best was scallops and crab cake meal. Winner!

Wonderful dinner experience. Location is super cool, you can park and easily walk across the street to see sunset or beach views. The waitress was even accommodating enough to let us move tables to see the sunset better. Our group tried a variety of things. Drinks were a dirty martini, chocolate martini, and hibiscus high. All were good, the hibiscus high kind of lacked flavor. Starters were the lobster and corn chowder, wedge salads, and the Korean pork belly- all phenomenal. Main courses we tried the Gruyère chicken, grouper, and the short rib. All were perfectly cooked and delivered in a timely manner. Perfect upscale restaurant for any special occasion!

We also just walked in after dinner one evening and one of the servers got us rang up and got our dessert pretty quickly which was nice. The key lime was lovely. It was the right amount of tart, along with the whipped cream and some tart raspberry /lime syrup and it was a splendid combination. It was the perfect dessert to enjoy after a nice beach day and staying in paradise on Captiva. Can't speak for the actual food but the restaurant is super adorable and has half indoor and half outdoor seating and it's really nice. Plus, great key lime pie!

We were so happy to see that they rebuilt and the outside, in particular, looks almost the same! We have always ordered the crab cakes, spinach salad, and Keylime pie. My friend, who lives here, also ordered a Keylime martini. First of all, our waiter, Sal, gave her an outdated menu, so when she ordered the martini for $10, she was charged $15. Then the crab cakes came and they now look like they came from Costco. We asked Sal if they were made in house, and he said they were. Really? Today we ate at the Fresh Catch on Ft Myers Beach. I am posting pictures of the 2 crabcakes from Keylime. which cost me $18.00 and the 3 crabcakes I bought today for dinner at the Fresh Catch Bistro on Ft Myers beach for $15.00. If you're reading this, you decide which ones you wanna buy.

We stopped in for lunch instead of dinner, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had during our trip to Sanibel. We started with the crab cakes served with lobster sauced mango coleslaw, and jasmine rice. The flavors worked incredibly well together, with the sweetness of the mango and rice perfectly complementing the crab cakes and lobster sauce. For our entrées, we had the blackened grouper with yellow rice and black beans. Everything on the plate paired so well, and the grouper was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. This took me back to other fantastic fish dishes in other islands like Hawaii, the keys, the Caribbean, etc... The piña colada was delicious and made the experience even more fun because it was served inside a real pineapple. It was refreshing and not too sweet, definitely something I would order again. We finished our meal with the key lime pie, which was the perfect ending. It was creamy, tart, and exactly what you hope for when ordering key lime pie in Florida. Before visiting, I noticed quite a few reviews mentioning long wait times. Thankfully, that wasn't our experience at all. We visited during lunch, so that may have made a difference, but we were seated quickly and received excellent service throughout our meal. Jenna was incredible, funny, and nice. Just about the entire staff has some whimsy about them. Telling us the history of the location and cracking jokes. I can honestly say I would probably drive the four hours to Sanibel just to eat at the Bubble Room again. Not because of the decorations or for the service, (these were great) but because the food left me craving more! The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience made it well worth the trip. If you're visiting Sanibel and wondering if it's worth the hype, I would absolutely recommend giving it a try. Next time I'm going for dinner for sure!
