It is 9 ounces and I ordered it medium in addition to the strip steak. You also get a soup or salad +2 side dishes and homemade fresh baked bread. I heard through the grapevine that the owner comes in at 3 AM and bakes the bread for the restaurant . It has a very pleasant oniony savory flavor. My steak was cooked to perfection and was only $12.95. My brother-in-law law ordered a steak that had onions and mushrooms and my husband ordered the steak with Cajun seasoning. I believe in a blue cheese crown that he absolutely loved. I think those steaks may have been a couple dollars extra but still the price was phenomenal. I would highly recommend steak night. You should consider making a reservation if you want to sit in the dining room all the board tables were already reserved when we arrived, but luckily we were able to find three seats at the bar, but we also went very early. The Mckeansburg is a charming restaurant in the beautiful countryside and it is a well run business most of the times when I go to Mckeansburg, I tend to order the thin sliced roast beef french dip with their delicious creamy horseradish sauce, but for the same price I could have steak on steak night, so I had to try it!
