    Ruben sandwich with potato salad.
    Monica P.

I went for lunch today with a friend (my first time here and her second), as we planned to do some shopping nearby. I was told the sandwiches were great. I had the grilled Ruben sandwich, which was good, but it needed more 1000 island dressing and more cheese, which I could barely taste. At least the amount of corned beef was decent. The potato salad was very flavorful with a lot of mustard flavor - something different than the typical potato salads - but the portion was very small. I checked out the fresh meats. Some nice selections but were pretty expensive per pound. The filets looked beautiful. They also have a prepared frozen foods (lasagna, Shephard's pie, chicken pot pie, enchiladas, etc.) at reasonable prices. I may have to try a couple of these out.

Wonderful lunch and service with a smile! I had the salmon blt (one if todays specials) with a side salad (blue cheese dressing). It was great! Also, bumped into a lot of familiar faces which was neat! My boys had the burger with a bowl of Texas chili (one of todays soup options). Can't wait to try more items on the menu. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. It was a little pricy ($50 for lunch for 3) but worth it (and we couldn't even finish all the food they gave us).

    Signature Burger with home chips.

I was told about this place from a local. Since I'm not from the area, I trust word of mouth. I've been to Wilmington at least two times prior to coming to this establishment. I had no idea that I had driven passed it numerous times. The place was a good size, very open, plenty of seating, and tons to look at. There was a display of BBQ sauces, wines, and other goodies around the perimeter. And on the opposite side, you had a display of quite a few items from their menu. They honestly serve just about everything here, and also do catering. First time here, I decided to keep it simple. I ordered their signature burger with their homemade chips. The burger came opened-faced, dry, and with the toppings on the side. Perfect for patrons to dress up the way they want to. Their homemade chips were light, not greasy and not coated with a ton of salt. If there is an option to try something homemade, then that's what I'll typically try. I was stuffed, but love banana pudding. So I ordered a slice of banana pudding cake to-go. Well, it didn't take long for me to dive into it after I left. As mentioned, they have quite a selection on their menu and have specials often. I would definitely come back to try something different.

Savory cheesecake with mango cheddar...unbelievably good!

Pine valley market catered for us for a small gathering and they were so great to work with! I highly recommend them for your events. They made the whole process very easy from the platter selections to pickup. Every platter was beautiful and delicious, but I can't say enough about the mango cheddar savory cheesecake-I can't stop thinking about it! Now I have to go back to try the fig and blue cheese option!

Whoever makes those carryout plates is fantastic. The chicken pot pie and Shepherd's Pie is the best in the area.

It was the first night of a new menu and there was a free concert offered so the restaurant was filling quickly. Two factors that often make for some hiccups. Not a one! We received friendly, knowledgeable, professional service. We had an assigned server but other team members were happy to provide support by topping up water glasses or clearing plates which had barely been cleaned. The food? First rate. We ladies shared the chopped salad- a salute to spring- including goat cheese, red onions, mushrooms and strawberries along with crisp romaine lettuce. True to the name- easily managed bite sized morsels- artfully dressed with fresh vinaigrette which accentuated the fresh vegetables rather than overpowering. We were offered and gladly accepted fresh, warm rolls and soft, spreadable butter. My friend sipped her mocktail happily while I enjoyed a California Pinot Gris from the pleasantly refreshing drinks menu with wines by bottle or glass, mocktails and craft cocktails for we who appreciate the pleasures of mixologist. Oh the soup of the day! A modest title for an ambrosia of seafood- shrimp, crab and fish- bathed in a sinfully rich cream sauce and studded with cubes of tender potatoes and once crispy bacon- not limp, fatty stand in's. The all of it? An utterly satisfying meal for we who both love Art we drink in with our eyes, music with our ears and? Food that feeds our bodies and makes our palates sing. There are museums that offer acceptable repasts and then? There's the CAM Cafe which serves Culinary Art. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Lunch? Mimosa Brunch? Yes please . For breakfast, tried the meat lover omelette, egg and cheese, croissant sandwich, and two empanadas (beef and choripan). I liked how all of the dishes were garnished with fresh spinach leaves and an orange wedge, making them look colorful and appealing. My partner enjoyed his omelette, which included chorizo and julienned ham slices. Omelette was presented differently than the typical omelette, with it cooked/shaped as a bowl and stuffed in the middle with fillings. They don't make croissants in the house, but they bake them so it's nice and crispy. It was very filling. Next time I'll add ham to it to give it a salty taste. Empanadas were delicious. Served with a chimichurri sauce. Beef empanada was a little bit on the sweeter side. Their espresso machine was broken so they only had black coffee. Black coffee was alright, nothing special, but, it was nice to drink hot coffee out of a mug, making me feel like I was at home. They have coffee cards, which you hole punch yourself. You get a free coffee after getting 10 hole punches. If you care, your clothes might have a little bit of a cooking smell after being in the café for a while.
