    3 Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos

The service was quick. We got spicy chicken tacos, steak burrito, and chips and guac. All the food was very good, and very good prices. I would definitely come back!

Tried this location because my bf loved the one in uptown. Definitely worth trying and coming back to. The food was good and customer service was excellent. They had some items specifically in honor of the state fair . I got the fried pickle tacos and I love them. I was worried they weren't going to be crispy enough. Nope! So good. Would recommend trying the elote and tacos. The shrimp cocktail gives you generous amounts of yummy shrimp. Very nice! We will be coming back again!

Celebrated my friend's birthday here on a Sunday early afternoon. I know locations vary in offerings and also how they do things but this is probably my least favorite location. They have a parking lot with a lot of parking available and that's maybe the only thing good about this location. We had a party of 10 and people were able to order as they came in. I would say the service provided was really good considering we had a big group. The restaurant in general was not busy at all that day. I ordered taquitos which I had recently had from the lake street location which they were really good but these ones were a bit mushy in the inside and weren't as flavorful and I realized they (both locations) put potatoes in them. These felt more potato than anything else. They weren't horrible but not that great. I feel like everyone else for the most part enjoyed their food expect a few missed things here and there. The drink menu is different here they don't offer the fun $5 shots like the other location. For the most part, drinks were also good. They did have a blueberry mojito on their location exclusive menu and it went around the table a bit and did not get good feedback but otherwise everything else was good. Overall going to the Lyn-lake location is definitely worth the parking chaos.

There is a NEW Lago Tacos location in Plymouth! This new location has a complete different vibe and feel from its Excelsior and Uptown sisters. I love the decor of the space. It feels open and inviting. There is also a small patio area outside for summer seating. I sat at the bar with a coworker for happy hour after work on a Thursday. The place was pretty quiet at first but by time we left around 6:30 it was PACKED in there. The bartenders were awesome. Super nice and chatty. We had plenty of laughs throughout our entire visit. I enjoyed two tacos. One grilled shrimp and one bang bang shrimp which was fried shrimp with a spicy sauce. Both were really good but the grilled shrimp one was by far the favorite. We also ordered their churro dessert and that was also fantastic. The bartender told me that the Plymouth location exclusively does fajitas so I will be back soon for those!!! House Margs are $8 on HH. They are pre-batched which keeps it consistent and quick when you order. They were excellent. Go check out this new Lago Tacos locations! IG: danny_runsforbeer

Second time here. The Mango Margarita was great. The chip and salsa were really good, salsa had a tad bit of heat which was perfect. I had the steak tacos with refried beans. I'm not sure if they make their own corn tortillas but I was not a fan. The steak and refried beans were good though. My fiancé had the birria tacos and she said they were ok, not the best she had but definitely not the worse. The elote was good too.

Great new option for Mexican food in Plymouth! It's a copy of the Lago Tacos in uptown, with good food, good service, all in a welcoming environment. Shares parking with the theaters, so it's usually very easy to park. Staff is new, but very friendly and knowledgeable. Strongly recommend giving it a try!

Food was great today! We sat in the bar to be able to watch college football at the same time.

Supermercado y Panadería Loma Bonita has quickly become one of my weekly go-to stops--part grocery…read morerun, part reward meal. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a diverse selection of dairy products, sodas, and snacks that you don't typically find all in one place. That variety directly stood out to me. Unlike many markets that focus on just one country, Loma Bonita offers a wide range of products from across Latin America, including El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and more. One area for improvement is pricing clarity. In some sections, particularly dairy, labels can be difficult to match to specific items. That said, the staff at the checkout counter is willing to assist with price checks. As you move through the store, the selection just keeps getting better: fresh cuts of meat, frozen goods from around the world, and ready-to-eat hot meals. There's even a paletero (ice cream stand) tucked near the back by the produce section. The produce department stands out for its range, availability and affordability. It's great to find items like culantro, yellow (ripe) and green plantains, papaya, guava, mango, nance, yuca, and malanga, along with standard produce. Having all this fresh and reasonably priced is a big plus. What is the reward of visiting Loma Bonita? Their restaurant food! I almost always leave with a "Burrito de Asada" or "Huarache de Asada". Everything is made fresh to order, though they also offer convenient grab-and-go options like whole chicken and Mexican rice. On weekends, the menu expands with items like menudo and tacos dorados, making it more enticing to visit. There are multiple Loma Bonita locations in the Twin Cities, and while this one may be smaller, it's still packed with great finds. Pro tip: For homemade tacos, get their fresh, handmade corn tortillas. They're a game changer!

The interior was pleasant and supported the brand of Teresa in a sombrero and with long, flowing hair. Ordering was at the counter and the food was ready in an amazingly fast time. There were a number of items marked as unavailable and price and menu changes were marked on white tape on the wall menu. The food was very good and the Chicken Tortilla soup and the Churro Bites were exceptional. The bathroom was clean but not spotless, the trashcan lid was broken, and the sink was worn. It was easy to converse but there were only six diners in the inside seating. It is worth the visit if you like to dine on Mexican food but set your expectations as to the state of the facility.
