I agree with what others have said about this place. It's clear the building wasn't built to be a sports bar, but I commend owners for at least trying. There are TVs everywhere, and the sound is loud and even pumped into the bathrooms. That said, it's an odd setup all the way around. We showed up on a Saturday night during the NFL playoffs and found the first-floor bar area to be packed. As others have mentioned, it feels very tight and cramped downstairs. Nobody greeted us, and honestly, we couldn't find anyone who wasn't running around crazy, so after taking a pass around the bar, we took the stairs to the second-floor game room, which was also packed. Nobody to ask there either, so we continued to wander. We found a little side room with four tables and two TVs that was empty. I found someone walking by, asked if the section was open, they said it was, so we sat down. A little while later, a waitress came by to take our orders. We each tried a house lager but decided on a pint each of the Avalanche. Not starving, we ordered the $10 nachos so we'd have something to nibble on while drinking and watching football. Beers came out a little while later, and then we waited. Eventually, a group of four Bears fans came in and sat down at a table near us. A little while they ordered. Not long after that, their food came. They noticed the surprise in that theirs came out before ours did. We mentioned to the server, and he went to go check. Then our waitress (who we didn't see too often) swung by. Then a guy who may have been the manager, swung by. Eventually, our nachos came out. The manager came back by, apologized again, and offered a free dessert to make up for it. I will say, the nachos were really large and quite good. A good deal for $10. Would definitely get them again. We finished our food, the manager came by again, and talked about the dessert options. My wife went with the hot brownie sundae. Looking forward to that, we were then disappointed again when the manager came by a little while later to let us know they were out of both brownies AND vanilla ice cream. How does that happen? He offered an alternate dessert, and after my wife declined, he said he'd take the $10 nachos off the bill. At least that's what she thought he said. When we got the bill, it showed only a $5 credit. Oh well. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it, but again, disappointment. I'm guessing we'll give them another shot at some point, as we did see a few things on the menu that looked good. I heard there's a third floor restaurant that will open at some point. I never found stairs to get up there, but they're around somewhere. It wasn't a particularly relaxing experience, and as of now, it doesn't have that cozy, neighborhood sports bar vibe. We'll see how it gets broken in during years to come. read more

They're not all the way open I believe as there's a third floor coming. We came for dinner to try them but the reviews regarding the seating is ridiculous. It's shoved onto the sides on both the first and second floors. There are two rooms for groups. The second floor has pool tables and there are arcade games on the lower level. Lots of tv sets above the bar. The menu is mostly burgers and pizza. Pricing is steep to me as the burgers don't come with sides. Ashley the bartender is nice. He got a beer but the selection is not great. We decided to leave as the music is so loud the people are shouting and I wasn't sold on the menu. Perhaps we will be back, but most probably not. I think this will be a great evening spot - especially the 2nd floor and high hopes for when the top floor opens. The good- 2nd floor pool tables - $20 an hour , nice views of the mountains, great waitress, darts, good selection of beer. The bad- 1st floor - service was really bad. Not rude , but standing in front of us doing nothing, while we wait to order, never checked to see if food was good/correct- (I had the wrong salad ). I think it may have just been our waiter? The layout is weird on the first floor- didn't feel comfortable- shades were closed felt tight. Open windows would help I think. Food- burgers were pretty good, meatballs very good. It's the new sports bar in town, and definitely something that this town needs. I believe that they are still in their "soft opening phase ". The main floor still has the same bad layout as when this was Famous steakhouse, which is unfortunate. The second floor has a 6 or so pool tables (it's been awhile since I played pool, but these table seem kinda small...(maybe it's me). The 3rd floor is going to be a speak easy; I'm looking forward to that. Now on to the good stuff... The burgers are top notch. I highly recommend the Trifecta Burger. Quality meat, done nicely, the juicy meat, melty cheese and carmelized onions are so perfect together. They offer a choice of shoestring fries, sweet potato fries or fresh cut fries. Me (and also the other guys that I was with) all opted for the the fresh cut fries. Nicely seasoned and as good as I had hoped. The beer selection is good, but a little short. The service was very friendly ...and for it still being the soft open, it was impressive how well trained they were. read more

Service was slow. Seated ourselves. I'm seeing reviews that it was loud but when we got there at 7:00 on a Saturday there was no music or tv sound on. Halfway through our dinner someone turned music on. The menu was mid. They said they recently changed it but didn't love the selection. We had queso, was basic. Club sandwich was good and chicken poppers were just average bar food. The lighting on second floor pool table area felt like bright hospital lights. Didn't feel cozy or good for date night at all. Way too bright and cold. Overall experience was average, nothing to rave about. Hopefully they take feedback from reviews because it could be a great place for Castle Rock. read more

I know this place is new, but the experience was not great. S-l-o-w service, a menu that is subpar at best and the food was not great. Wings came out entirely unflavored, even though ordered buffalo hot ( I had them confirm flavoring after delivery and a few were raw and inedible) . Beer selection is horrific. Went to Trifecta for the Super Bowl and had a great time. The atmosphere was awesome, food came out hot and tasted fresh, and the beers were ice cold. They also ran happy hour specials the entire game, which was a huge bonus. Great service even with the crowd -- we'll definitely be back. read more

Here during soft open, dined on the 2nd floor (pool table area - 6! Of them). Lots of screens! Cool vibe, can tell this will be a busy area once it gets rocking. Food. AMAZING! Tried the cowboy burger. Loaded with flavor, patties done 'just right'. Highly recommend this burger. Tried their Skinny Fries. These things are awesome too. Stop in for the first and and it was a great experiences. Right now it's two levels and expanding to three levels. First level is the sports bar area and they have a ton of TVs to watch the games. Second level is pool tables and darts. Didn't eat this trip but drinks were good and service was really good. Definitely going to be a return trip but others said the food was awesome. Ahhh, the smell of old, spilled beer permeates the 1st floor, something Castle Rock hasn't had since the Main Street bar closed about 20 years ago. Came in on a Saturday night, place was crowded. Sat at bar area till a table was available. Hard to get a drink when the bartenders have their heads down a majority of the time. Got to finish my drink before being taken upstairs to have dinner. Must be a sign of old-age, dear God, they have the volume on the TV's cranked! Normally to watch football games at a restaurant, you don't need to hear the game (usually they'll have it on closed caption). Then we had to flag down someone for service. The wings were undercooked and the Philly cheesesteak was devoid of any flavor. After all was said and done, the drinks were the highlight of the night! Next time (IF there is a next time) I'll try a burger. You can't go wrong with a burger, can you? read more

The food was mediocre but the staff was good. The issue is the MUSIC and how absurdly LOUD it was. They did turn it down in the small room we were in but it was still obnoxious. It's a sports bar with pool tables, lots of TVs and a potentially fun vibe if they got rid of the blaring folk music. The music was completely bizarre for the surroundings and too loud regardless. When they turned the music down the other two tables next to us cheered in relief as well, so I know it wasn't just our group that was uncomfortable. read more

Food was severed cold or lukewarm, some items tasted like they were not made internally (that's the nicest way to say it came from industrial kitchen or a can), mashed potatoes were instant, gravy was not home made and cold with a 'film' on top by the time it was served, manager was rude and profane, atmosphere was non-existent with tables hidden behind huge columns, too many TVs on same channel no one was watching - we could see 13 tvs from our table showing 2 different programs (not local sort teams). read more
