I realize when you go to a 2-star chain sports bar you shouldn't really have high expectations, but BWW was overpriced and just kind of "meh" all around. The weirdest thing is they give you menus without prices. Who does that? Their website had pricing, but that's a real pain. We pretty much ordered everything without knowing how much it was. Also, why do they add a surcharge of a few pennies to every item? Not a huge deal, but again, kind of annoying...and you won't see it until you get your bill. We showed up for the AFC championship game to watch with other Broncos fans. Yes, they were busy, but service was also incredibly slow. Not so much with our server, although he was running around crazy the whole time. But rather with the kitchen, which was extremely backed up. We waited at least 45 mins for our first round of apps. And we pretty much knew to order well before we wanted anything because we knew it would take a long time. Some food was better than others. Queso came with pico even though we asked for it to be held. Chips seemed a bit stale to me. Boneless chicken wings and mozzarella sticks were ok. I didn't care for the onion rings or everything bread bites. Cauliflower wings were good, even though the spicy garlic sauce tasted much more like true Buffalo wing sauce than we cared for. The Asian sauce was good. Food and beer are all fairly expensive. The 2-min warning discounts were nice. Granted we waited well into the next quarter to get what we had ordered a long time ago. Went in for buy one get one free wings on a Tuesday night set up at the bar took forever for them to acknowledge me. I ordered an appetizer and it took like 15 minutes just to get the appetizer. I then ordered six mango habanero and six Asian zing wings. I do like a crispy wing, but I don't like them when they are like jerky because of them being overcooked, so bad Slones service the wings were overcooked probably some of the worst wings. This location is SUPER hit or miss. We have stopped here probably 10 times since we moved to Parker (which doesn't have its own sit down BWW) and it really is a coin toss on what we are walking into each time. Lately in the last month it has smelled of stale beer and spilled alcohol upon walking into each, but otherwise has been clean. The service is usually not great but there are a few of the wait staff that seem to enjoy their job. While others look like they are due for their weekly shower. The food always tastes how you expect it to from this brand, but is not always served hot. On our last trip it wasn't even warm. Want to start off by saying, we didn't end up eating at this location because of what we observed. Walked in one afternoon to see a sea of dirty tables and just one server working. We must've just missed the lunch rush. You would think the other staff members would've cleaned their tables before leaving. Or was this one server the only person scheduled? No other support in sight. The server did keep a positive attitude, but besides that, the atmosphere was cold, there was no music on either. The ambiance was just off. This place continues to disappoint, and I'm over it. I'll have you know, I love BWW restaurants and was so excited to get one in Castle Rock to the point that I had either dined in or received delivery 12 times in the last 10 months despite only having ONE positive experience. From here on out, I will gladly drive north to Park Meadows location and eat there because I will no longer waste my time on this sad-excuse for a restaurant. In the latest disaster of service, my delivery order was screwed up... again. Out of the 7 times I've ordered delivery, the order has been wrong 7 times. Many times they forget the cold items (dipping sauces, drinks, veggies) because the wings and other hot items are put in a bag in the warming area and the staff hands the delivery driver the hot bag and forgets the rest. That's no to say they haven't forgotten an entire hot kid's meal before though. Great attention to detail. When I initially ordered, the BWW app told me it would be 20-30 minutes to get my food. I gathered the family's order and put it in. The time jumped up from 50 minutes to an hour. One hour and 40 minutes later, we finally got our food. The delivery driver assigned to this order waited at the restaurant for 30 minutes. The food was dropped on in a sealed bag and it was missing my daughter's chicken caesar salad. Two times before we were missing a salad, and in a third attempt we were given a bowl of lettuce with nothing else in it. Having experienced this plenty of times before, I called the restaurant. Their solutions? They could make me the salad and I could drive down to pick it up, or they could refund the money for the salad. If I was in a position to go pickup up my food and, therefore, check it for accuracy (given all the previous errors) and get it sooner, it would make sense that I would have done that, correct? So clearly the "pickup" option solution doesn't make sense because I can't go pick it up and that defeats the point of ordering delivery. The second option was just as bad. Refund the money and now my daughter doesn't get a meal despite waiting for 100 minutes. The current manager, Matt, told me those are the options and that's it. A bit fired up, I asked Matt how he got to work and when he told me he drove, I hinted that he had another option. He did not like that. Ultimately, I opted for the refund and Matt took my information and said it would be done in 2-3 business days. Having had to call BWW for three weeks trying to get a previous order refunded, when there was no refund by day 4, I called the store to talk with the GM Rachel. She was unaware what had transpired the previous Friday and made it clear the refund had not yet been processed. After complaining to her about Matt, who I called an "arrogant little prick," and said that I wasn't surprised he didn't process my refund, she went on the defense. I can't blame her for getting upset, and I applaud her effort to stand up for her employees, however misguided her effort may have been. In the end, she refunded the salad and we both made it clear that I won't be dining in or ordering delivery from here again. To be honest, this isn't much of a loss. I've already relayed the continual problems with delivery, but the in-restaurant dining experience isn't any better. The times we've dined in, it took a long time to be acknowledged and get drinks. Once the order was finally taken, the timing of the food was sporadic (getting entrees before appetizers before kid's meals) and the family just got used to eating whatever whenever because there was no chance of us all getting our entrees together and eating them at the same time. Additionally, the food was generally overcooked, dry, burned, and sometimes, even cold from sitting around too long. Refills took forever, and the staff rarely checked in. With all that, I gladly bid adieu to this restaurant and advise anyone who took the time to read all this to do the same. Thank you. read more

A new Buffalo Wild Wings opened in Castle Rock recently. This location isn't too far from the Outlet Mall. Keep this in mind if you're considering shopping and grabbing a bite. There are plenty of food options in this area. However, this adds another food option. The location is great as you can finish up shopping, grab a bite here then hop on the highway (I-25) nearby and head home. I loved that the building is brand new so the interior is very clean. As usual, there are plenty of flat screen televisions at Buffalo Wild Wings. There are plenty of high top and standard top tables here. I dined here with a friend last week. We ordered Onion Rings for an appetizer. It comes with a delicious dipping sauce. I was very impressed with the Onion Rings. For my entree, I ordered the Southern Chicken Sandwich and a side salad. I opted for the fries as well. The sandwich comes with fries. I was VERY impressed with the chicken sandwich. It actually exceeded my expectations. I loved the slaw on it. They nailed this. Food was fantastic. However, service wasn't good. Our waiter was very busy, practically fast walking to various tables throughout the restaurant. I could tell he was very new as well. One thing I want to stress to anyone dining here is, you will need to ask for everything. Don't expect silverware and napkins to be given to you. They give you plenty of napkins which is great. However, I didn't like that I had to ask for everything. We had to ask for refills on our drinks as well. I also don't remember if the waiter stopped at our table to check and see how our food was. Management, please address the service issue here and ensure that you're training staff well. Since this is a new location, management should be visiting various tables and asking patrons how their food is. This didn't happen during my visit. I believe a manager walked by our table and my friend had to get his attention to get us something. This person seemed caught off guard and a bit perplexed. Overall, great food but lousy service. Well.... If it were not for my kids, I'd stopped ordering/visiting this location. The last 2 carry out orders have been incorrect. Bad on me for not confirming my order prior to walking out the door. Check your orders. Yes I went back to have the orders corrected. Our most recent vist... service was poor at best. With a restaurant pretty much empty, 3 times, I had to leave the table to get service. I watched 4 servers huddled around their manager sitting at a booth looking at phones, with their backs to all tables. It took 15 minutes to get a beer... it took 25 minutes to get a salad with chicken. The chicken breast was a piece of rubber. It wasn't until after my family finished their wings (Luke warm) did I receive my salad. Then there's the silverware... yep, you guessed it.... I had to ask for it. Apparently, clearing a table that's cluttered with empty dishes and bones is nonexistent. Un-freaking believable. Never once were we checked on. Hey "Manager"... here's a thought get off your rear end, and check on the paying customers, assist clearing tables, introduce yourself. Say hello. The only thing worthwhile about this BWWs was our server Jack. He was working pretty hard in the dining area. Ordered mild 20 flats (wet). My wife ordered 20 Asian zing (wet). Her order came out 15-20 minutes before my order. Hers looked as desired. Mine were cold and had been sitting so long in the kitchen that the sauce started to dry up. Frankly, this is a kitchen, expediter, and manager issue. Recommend to anybody considering BWWs to find somewhere else because this place was sad. Like mentioned before though. The location is convenient and the decor is attractive. We were seated quickly. One huge set of TV's was already broken. Our server seemed like he was new. It was pretty busy and appeared to be under staffed. Our beer was cold, but the drink refills on water was nonexistent. Our fry's came out first, they were supposed to be large. Clearly by the picture, they were lacking is size and not very warm. They tasted like they had sent someone to McDonalds and they got coke on the way back to the BWW's. He forgot about our onion rings, we had to ask. Fortunately, they would hot and we enjoyed them. The wings we hit and seasoned and sauced properly. It was clear that the poor server was stressed and over worked/improperly trained. Sad as this could be a great option if management can add staff and provide some additional trading. It's BWW, what's there to say. The TVs were on. The staff got my food order wrong. It's what I expected. Not sure how Buffalo Wild Wings as a company still operates. My large family gets BW's often, at least 3-4 times a month. On Thursdays, it's a very good deal for take-out. Whenever we eat in, however, our experience is terrible at this location. The lack of servers/bartenders is beyond concerning. We recently came in on a Friday afternoon and there were only TWO people serving the entire restaurant! A bartender and one server... literally. Every single table was filthy (and empty), we couldn't even find a clean table to sit at. We left and went to another restaurant veo could accommodate customers. We came here today with 6 people. One meal came out about 10 minutes after we ordered, the next about 20 minutes later, the next about 15 minutes later. The last meal was served about an hour after it was ordered. The meal that took an hour was 6 traditional wings. I mentioned to the waitress that I thought they lost our order, or that something may be missed. She let me know that they bring the food "hot and ready" and that the food will not come out at the same time, or anywhere close to it.
