Minimal effort with a fork and knife. If they got rid of the slaw, and put it on some mash potatoes or what all the hipster places do, putting it on 'bao' that would absolutely make it. Prices are on par with the neighboring area. However being from Hawaii, I'm shocked that the prices here and the other places in the area are equal to, or higher than Hawaii. This restaurant was a good choice for group dinner. They have some private seating areas and the service is very good. We had plenty of options for drinks as well as food. They offer different types of food to cater to anyone appetite. I ordered the pork chop and it came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion size was good and I liked the sauce on the pork chop but it wasn't a lean cut. For dessert I ordered the carrot and it was delicious and nice portion to share. I hope this location is able to stay open because when we arrived it was already almost an hour after they opened and we were the only ones there. This ended up not being so great because the employees were using the slow time to work on other things and we felt ignored. I came here on a Wednesday night and got two drinks Mango Tango ($13) , Apple Doesn't Fall Far($15), and for the main meal the Bison Meatloaf($24). Both cocktails were quite good, I personally liked the apple drink more because of the fall vibe. The Bison meatloaf was served with a marinara sauce, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. I did not like the marinara sauce as it was sour and did not mesh with the meatloaf at all. The bison meatloaf was savory and good on its own. Surprisingly the Brussels sprouts was what made the dish stand out, it was crispy and perfectly salted. Service and staff were good. We had chosen it for a lunch with a vendor, but the experience was far from satisfactory. I was hesitant to share my feedback in person due to the presence of colleagues and a vendor, but I believe it's important to be transparent. I attempted to call your number this afternoon twice, but it remained unanswered. I have emailed you, but you guessed it, unanswered. First, I ordered an unsweetened tea, but it arrived sweetened. While it was a minor mistake that could be overlooked, it was compounded by a series of other errors. When we ordered appetizers, someone in the group suggested shrimp and said shrimp cocktail, but then corrected it to fried shrimp. When the appetizers came out, we ended up with both fried shrimp and shrimp cocktail. This was another mistake that could have been overlooked if it weren't for the overall chaos. I was not confident that our order would be correct at this point. I made sure to clearly state that I did not want blue cheese on my salad and asked about other cheese options. I was offered Parmesan, which I selected. However, my salad came out with blue cheese on it, which was not a surprise at this point. I had to send it back because I don't like the taste of blue cheese. The waitress took away the salad and brought it back, but they had simply taken the steak off of one salad and put it on another, and it was still covered in blue cheese. At this point, I was incredibly embarrassed and chose to simply eat around the blue cheese. To add to my disappointment, I had to ask for more drinks and reminded them that I had ordered unsweetened tea. Of course, they brought me sweet tea again. Jokes were made around the table about how awful this experience was. This was just a series of errors that made it difficult for me to enjoy my meal. I had hoped to speak with a manager on the phone, but after multiple calls and rings, you did not answer. I hope you will take these issues into account and make the necessary corrections to ensure that your customers have a better experience. If I had these issues, then other people are likely having them and choosing not to go to Harry's. My mom stumbled upon this spot and suggested it for our family brunch. We called ahead to place a reservation and were seated in a private area/room. The restaurant was not busy. Our waitress was friendly and pretty knowledgeable about the menu and popular items. I was torn between the Salmon Tacos and the Harry's chicken& waffles. Three of the five of us ordered the Chicken & waffles. It came with grits but all of our grits were brought out cold. We ended up sending them back to the kitchen and I switched mine for fries. The other two meals the Black Label Burger and Harry's Chicken Sandwich. Both were served on burnt buns and the fries were hard. Very disappointing for a $20 burger. The chicken sandwich doesn't say it's grilled but it is FYI. Our server was friendly and was surprised the way our food was brought out (cold, burnt). We were visiting Charlotte for the ACC Championship game and decided to walk over and try this spot from our hotel. We were some of the first customers there as we arrived shortly after 11am. When we walked in, we were greatly very warmly and given the choice of sitting in the bar area or in general dining. We chose the bar area and are glad we did. Our server was extremely friendly and was very relatable. When we ordered our food, our server suggested her favorites and we took her advice. Our food was very good, very fresh, and very well seasoned. Also, our food was served in a timely fashion. One of the things that stood out was how helpful the staff was in making sure that our drinks stay refilled, our finished plates were removed, and we had napkins and condiments. We came on Father's Day with a big group. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. The menu was varied with a mix of brunch items like shrimp and grits, French toast and salmon tacos. We started with some apps; bacon that was supposed to be sweet and it was over cooked and salty. We also had the fried green tomatoes that were thick as hamburgers, loaded tater tots and bang bang shrimp. The shrimp was the best by far. Perfectly cooked and dressed. Entrees we're a mixed bag; Chicken and waffles - chicken was a flat unseasoned breast that was over cooked. The waffle was light and fluffy and came with strawberries and blue berries on top. Only thing missing was some whipped butter. The French toast was a massive portion but the bananas that were supposed to be in the vein of bananas fosters were dried up and almost burnt. The bread for the French toast was thin so it did not have that brioche fluffy texture. Salmon tacos were delicious and the portion size was great. They were dressed nicely and came in a taco stand for easy access. 5 stars! The bowls were yummy to the taste and eye. The sliced Avocado and perfectly fried and scrambled eggs were delicious. The only down point was the side of grits we ordered, they were thick as cement and did not have any flavor. Don't know how it made it out of the kitchen. Service was slow, and it didn't seem very crowded. one of our party had to go to the hostess station to ask about our server after about 10 minutes- sort of like we were at a forgotten table. This was our first time dining here and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I was grateful that although they were close to closing, they still got us seated in no time and the food didn't take anytime being brought out. The pork chop was flavorful. I was grateful but surprised at the same time because our waiter threw me for a curve when she asked how I wanted the pork chop cooked. Maybe I don't order it enough but it was nice just to be asked. The meatloaf was probably my favorite. I'm hesitant when it comes to trying everyone's meatloaf but I throughly enjoyed it. I thought it was filled with lots of favor along with the shoe string onions was a great finish. While it does usually come with asparagus, I was very glad I switched to Brussels sprouts!
