Good spot for a burger if you're looking for a pub vibe or stopping in for lunch. There's a classic style burger and multiple specialty burger options - all come with your choice of fries, coleslaw, macaroni salad, or potato salad or an up charge for sweet potato fries, onion rings, or side salad. I had the Tavern classic which comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. My husband had the Ole Blue which comes with blue cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions. Both burgers had a nice grilled char to them. The fries were pretty good as well. Recommend stopping by if you're wanting to grab a burger in the area.

There aren't many choices for food in Pine, but fortunately this is one of them. I've been here several times and the food and drinks are always good. The service is also super friendly and when it's warm enough the patio is dog friendly. I don't even have a preference to recommend or any to avoid because I've liked it all.

We've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. Service is great. Ambiance is rustic modern. The food is so good. Everything we've tried. No complaint. One of our favorite places in Pine.

Pinewood Tavern was a real surprise as we don't expect much from bar food, but our dinner there recently was amazing! Everything was so good! We had the deviled eggs, pulled pork nachos, wings, and a blue cheese burger. It was all perfect! I don't normally like deviled eggs, but there were a few of us & we were sharing everything, so I tried one & discovered I really liked their deviled eggs. I liked the bacon touch they added & the spicy Chipotle mayo sauce was so good. Wings were cooked so nicely...light, nicely seasoned crisp to the outside, tender/juicy inside. Buffalo sauce was really good too. Their pulled pork nachos were amazing with all the layers of flavor. The portion is also huge! We definitely had to take most of it home. The blue cheese burger was perfectly cooked with a really good quality blue cheese. Came with a side salad & the blue cheese dressing was definitely a nice one. All this, plus drinks (soda & wine) for 3 came in under $100, which was also a surprise! Definitely a good place to grab a good, very well cooked dinner in Pine.

Great service, ambiance, and food! 10/10 would recommend the wings. The pulled pork sandwich was also delicious. Don't forget the sweet potato fries!

Our server Tyler was great. Seemed like he was the only one serving all the tables, but he was quick and made sure our drinks were full during the 40 minute wait for food. It was worth the wait though, some of the best burgers we've ever had! I got the PBJ - love the peanut butter. Jelly and bacon combo. I did take the lettuce, onion, and tomato off. I like those toppings but not on this burger. The French fries were incredible and so was the buttermilk ranch. My husband got the Cowboy and he really liked it.

My friend enjoys the fish and chips. My BLT had a good amount of bacon, but I prefer hot bacon since the contrast of hot bacon and cold T&L is part of the appeal. Also disliked being charged more than what is on the menu ($15 on menu and $17 on my bill). To go cobbler tasted good when warmed, but seemed to be the last scoop and NOT visually appealing.

Solid bar food. We liked the deviled eggs (too spicy for my kiddo). The Pine French dip was good. I had a bite of the Tavern Burger and it was a solid burger. I'd skip the onion rings next time - the panko breading was too heavy for me. I was also disappointed that the Bloody Mary didn't come with bacon (even thought it says that on the menu). All in all, I'd go again.

Wonderful place! Delicious burgers, fries and their nachos were delicious and large portions. Service was very quick. The staff were friendly. This is a place where you definitely want to stop at if you are in the neighborhood.

Sunday 17 Nov. 2024 Pinewood Tavern is OPEN, all seven day too! Haven't been in to eat since my last time there merited only two stars. I'm looking forward to going over for dinner later: I hope the new ownership's menu - and food ! - will be great and delicious. I can't post a review because Yelp says closed.

Pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. Both amazing. Best onion rings I've had. Ranch great too.

Pastrami sandwich is fantastic. Fries great. Wings crispy. Blue cheese great. Reasonable prices. Open 7 days now with new owners which is super smart.

We both had sunny side up eggs, bacon, hash browns, corned beef hash, delicious fluffy pancakes and bottomless coffee. Everything was piping hot and delicious. They also have a full menu for lunch and dinner. The burgers served at the table next to us looked awesome. This place reminded us of a typical diner back east in New Jersey: happy servers, plentiful and delicious hot and fresh food, great coffee and fresh baked home made pie. So if you find yourself in Payson and need a great meal with a family friendly vibe, go to Crosswinds. They have plenty of free parking too.

We arrived around 7:30am, which was right before it started getting busy. The view is pretty cool. The restaurant is overlooking the runway. After checking in at the front, we were given a table within minutes. Then, our waitress came up and asked us what we wanted to drink. Eventually, we decided what to order and she came back to take our order. The food didn't take long--I'd say about 15 minutes. The food was delicious, to say the least. We both ordered a Western Omelette and shared an order of French Toast. I also took an apple pie and some other baked goods back home with me. The pie was also delicious! The only reason for my 4 stars is because of the service. Some of the employees seemed annoyed to be there and help us. While I understand that the restaurant was busy, you should still maintain composure and try to remain calm under stress. Having worked at a restaurant, I understand the feeling, but you can't let it get to you. Other than that, great little restaurant. I'd come here again.

Once we got there we completely understood why they shut down online ordering. There was a customer that was upset and honestly I don't understand why. Some people like to be unhappy I think. I felt so bad for the workers just trying to do their jobs and crank out pizza after pizza. Especially while some angry lady yells at them because she's impatient. I saw another review before posting this that someone was mad they weren't taking more online orders or answering the phone and then were mad the pizza was taking too long? You can't be mad at both of those things lol This place is legit. They had 3 people back there making pizza from scratch. Cutting fresh pineapple and grating fresh cheese. If you want Pizza Hut timing and quality- go to Payson. There are like 3 food choices in this town with hundreds of little cabins on a weekend night.
