We had an amazing dinner at Mamajoe's Italian Grill! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with the appetizer special--stuffed squash blossoms--which were unique and full of flavor. The minestrone soup was hearty and comforting, and the garden salads were fresh and crisp. For our mains, the Chicken Parmigiana was tender and perfectly cooked, and the Eggplant Parmigiana was equally delicious--rich, flavorful, and satisfying. We couldn't leave without dessert, so we took home some cannolis, and they did not disappoint--crisp shells and rich, creamy filling. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and every bite was a treat. Highly recommend! If there's a wait, definitely recommend waiting--it's well worth it.

Next morning, this is how much we ate. Wife threw up what little she ate this morning.

Staying at the Strawberry Inn across the street, my wife called in a medium sausage pizza with a side of garlic bread. They said they'll call 10 mins before it's ready, they called, I waited 10 minutes before walking across the street to pick it up. Once I got there I had to wait another 10-15 mins. Not busy at all, pretty dead, but still had to wait almost another 15 mins after it should've been ready. Got back, the pizza was terrible! Dry crust, cheese was so liquid it could've been soup. And the garlic bread was LITERALLY THE WORST GARLIC BREAD IVE EVER HAD! Never had bad garlic bread before but whatever this was upset my stomach immediately. Terrible experience. Oh yeah and after waiting all that time (which the 3 girls that were working there seemed to be arguing with each other the whole time) they still charged me $3 for ranch. Well it was $2.07 but the girl took so long to count the change back to me that I just said keep it.

My greens, tomato, mini burrata, onion, cucumber and more, salad and the fried zucchini appetizer.

UPDATE Went yesterday with friends, all eager for the good, no great, Gnocchi, Lasagna and Spaghetti with meatballs. We got to Mamajoes before the restaurant opened since we were all hungry! I love Taylor - she's funny, friendly and ever helpful when we're seated; but everyone there has smiles, and I really like - even more - to go eat in a place that's friendly and kind. I wish people in a hurry would realize that dishes are made to order: Mamajoes is not a fast food joint, but everyrhing is done as you order. If you get a bit restless step outside for a minute and breathe in the fresh air and look around at the scenery. Yesterday we went from blue skies to skies as dark as onyx, to rain, rain, hail and rain again. But I had my Gnocchi al Gorgonzola, salad and had the Lemon cake to go for later. There were several other tables besides ours, but not much noise: we were all enjoying our food :) Be back soon !

Located in Strawberry,AZ, this is one of the few restaurants that is available in this small town. We tried it, since it was just half a mile from our cabin. You can tell that the patrons know each other, since it is a very small town. Our server is really nice and accommodating. Making sure we are well taken cared of. We loved every single food we ordered and they give you big portion. Good food, good atmosphere and good service!

My boyfriend and I decided to try Mamajoes since it was right across the street from The Strawberry Inn, where we stayed recently for a weekend getaway. When we got there, they were slammed with customers, but we were not in a rush and did not mind waiting. Michelle, the friendly and personable greeter, checked in with us and gave us updates several times. While we waited, we perused their huge menu. We were seated after about 30 minutes in the "middle" room (the restaurant is made up of 3 small-ish rooms). Taylor was our server. He was fun, friendly, and professional. My boyfriend ordered a pizza. Taylor mentioned there might be a wait for the pizza, but he would check with the kitchen and find out for sure. Again, we weren't in a rush, so we went ahead with the pizza anyway. My boyfriend ordered a side salad to eat in the meantime and I ordered the cheese ravioli entree, which came with the side salad and garlic bread. My mouth is watering just thinking of the red sauce that was on the ravioli. Magnificent! The salad was fresh and the big slab of garlic bread was delicious as well. The pizza took maybe 30 minutes, so it wasn't a big delay. The portions were huge and my boyfriend struggled to finish the pizza, but he got close. We would definitely return to Mamajoes next time we are in the Strawberry area.

A staple in the Strawberry community. Classic, been here forever. Tasty food. Small town feel.

Great food. Excellent food!!!! Calamari appetizer was really good Lobster Alfredo ravioli was delicious. Generous glass of wine one for 5.00 The carrot cake was delicious and massive Service was good! Got there right at 5:00. Taylor was very attentive and friendly. Restaurant environment was odd. Very very close seating. Uncomfortable bench. Chairs are comfortable. Made for a very awkward dinner due to the spacing between tables. We were placed between two families with kids and couldn't have a conversation without everyone hearing.

We were seated inside, got our drinks, and then waited about 30 minutes just to place our order. Our server explained that she had been outside taking orders. My husband looked at me and said, "Well, that's nice considering we asked to sit outside." The service continued to be extremely slow. Even after most of the restaurant had cleared out, it still took a long time to get our check. The biggest disappointment was my husband's steak. He ordered it Pittsburgh style and medium rare. As you can see, it was nowhere close. It was well done with no char whatsoever. By the time our server came back to check on us, we were nearly finished eating. They brought out another steak to go and told us, "My manager took a torch to it." Unfortunately, it just tasted like gas instead of having a proper Pittsburgh-style crust. To make matters worse, they didn't offer any discount or remove anything from our bill despite the poor service, the incorrect meal, and the long wait. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience, and we have to rethink if we will be returning.

Yes, it's worth the wait!!…read more I finally did it. After what feels like several geological eras, multiple decades, and approximately a billion years of living in Arizona, I finally stopped at Diamond Point Shadow Steakhouse. Every single time I'd drive by, one of two things would happen: they were closed, or I was in time crunch to my next destination. It became one of those places that lived permanently on my Arizona bucket list. Well, bucket list item officially crossed off! The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and now I'm kicking myself for not making the stop years ago. Everything was well worth the wait...literally and figuratively. A word of advice: get there right when they open at 4:00 PM. We intentionally ate an early supper, and I'm glad we did because the place fills up fast. If you show up later, be prepared to wait. That said, after finally experiencing it for myself, I'd say it's worth the wait either way. Some things in life don't live up to the hype. Diamond Point Shadow Steakhouse does. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to figure out why I waited half my lifetime to stop here.

We ordered an Old Fashioned and a Vodka Sour cocktail while were were perusing the menu since we hadn't been there before. The waitress was cute and kind and trying to do a good job. Mind you, the restaurant was not at capacity, nor was there a wait to get in. Our drinks came and they brought me a manhattan (not an old fashioned) with no ice and the cocktail cherry and orange wedge was put in my husbands Vodka sour ‍ ...ok they were a little confused at the bar. No problem. The server decided to bring me some cherries (maraschino, not cocktail) to make up for it (thanks but not the issue) Next we ordered dinner with our salads and they were delivered to the opposite person. Which isn't a big deal but there are only 2 people at our table. Dinner was fine he ordered a ribeye w/rice pilaf and I ordered the Barramundi with rice pilaf. The fish was nice, I'd never had it before and the ribeye was ok, nothing spectacular. Then the complimentary Mother's Day Dessert choice I made was creme brûlée as it's my favorite. Well it wasn't the dessert they walked around the restaurant advertising, it was a tiny little cup but as the server said "at least it's free" And boom, here comes the bill....we were charged full price for the complimentary Mother's Day dessert. And, we didn't notice until after we had paid the bill. Now, mind you the server was tipped based on the check total. When it was brought to her attention she tells us that we can either have a restaurant credit, or return the whole bill and charge us again but the refund of the bill would take 3 days. We told her to just take care of us next time since we are new to the area and hope to have a better experience next time we visit.

I found the pork inedible and the masa very flavorless. The shredded beef taco came with orange cheese on top and was in a soggy tortilla that immediately fell apart. The shredded beef didn't have much flavor but did have quite a few globs of fat. The quesadilla was huge but the steak inside was gristly. One friend had ordered soda water to drink and they charged her $5 for it! Wild. Its generally free but if you feel the need to charge for it, fine, but $5?? The bathroom was clean.

This restaurant was recommended to me, so I was honestly expecting much better. On top of the food, there were flies buzzing around while we were trying to eat, which only made the experience less enjoyable. Unfortunately, this was some of the most disappointing Mexican food I've had in Arizona. The staff was kind and attentive, but the food itself was not something I would come back for.

We came to watch the Argentina vs. Egypt World Cup match, and they opened at 9:00 a.m. for the game. The restaurant was packed with passionate fans, creating an incredible atmosphere that made the experience even more memorable. I had the choripán with fries, and my wife ordered the gyro. Both were outstanding. We'll definitely be back for more authentic food and another great experience. Highly recommended!

They were running a fun, seasonal soccer-themed menu when we visited. Our group tried the prickly pear refreshers, and for lunch, we ordered the dirty burger, lattice-wrapped burger, and a regular burger paired with sweet potato fries. The burgers were just okay. A couple of people in our group noticed the meat was a bit chewy and tough, seemingly from being overcooked The only downside was the timing of the kitchen. Our food wasn't served together, leaving one friend waiting until the rest of us were nearly finished eating due to an order mix-up. Fortunately, the staff handled the situation well and applied a 20% discount to the delayed item once we pointed it out
