Location/Atmosphere: I found this place on Tik Tok and did not let us down. The food was amazing and by far the best pasta I've ever had in my life. You have to make a reservation or wait maybe a half hour if you get there right when it opens. It's in a lovely part of Paris right near Moulin Rouge. There's so some fun bars near by if you want to continue to explore the city. The outside was a beautiful pink building and the inside has five floors that are each uniquely decorated. Lots of opportunities to take photos. The only heads up, is that if you are seated on a higher level it can be warm inside. Service: All the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Food/Drinks: honestly I don't think there's anything they could make that was bad. We kept it easy with bolognese and spaghetti. We went to Pink Mamma during our honeymoon because we saw so many great posts about it on Instagram before our trip & had to try! Reservations open up about 2 weeks in advance so we continued to check the website until that time came and were able to get reservations for 6:45 pm, which is when they open. Upon arrival, there was still a significantly long line outside of the building. On one side, for reservations. On the other, for walk-ins. Once the line got moving, it didn't take long to get in & we were seated on the 2nd floor. While we were hoping for the top floor because of how lovely it looks in photos, this floor still had great window seats & decor to maintain the aesthetic. The service was friendly and quick, although we found that once we placed our orders, we rarely saw our server again. For drinks, I ordered the Big Mamma drink which was refreshing! My husband ordered the Mangooo Mule which came in a raunchy but cute mug & he said he enjoyed the drink! Certainly got a few silly pictures out of it (not attached to this review). For an appetizer, we ordered the "Don't Bread My Heart" dish which is their take on a bruschetta. The tomatoes were so flavorful and the absolute star of this dish! The bread seemed a bit stale and almost as if it was over-toasted to make up for it. The end result? Too hard to cut through! But again, the tomatoes made the dish! For dinner, we ordered the Porcquoi pas? Pasta dish and the Dancing Queen Pizza. Both were delicious & we would recommend! I especially liked the ragu with the pasta- very well-balanced flavor - that dish would be worth coming back for! Not even sure where to start. I do not understand how this place got so hyped up. Blows my mind it was truly awful. The service was atrocious. The guy who "served" us couldn't be more preoccupied by his phone if he tried and his attitude was awful. He threw the plate on the table with his arm stretched so far he could barely reach us. We ordered drinks which sat on bar for 15 minutes before another busser I believe delivered them. He never once came back to check on us or ask if we need anything or wanted anything more. The food.... super gross. The pizza was fully charcoal underneath and the top was super watery. I could see it possibly tasting ok without those two issues. I have mixed feelings about this place. I booked weeks before because I really wanted to go there with my sister. I always try to book a spot either at noon or after 1pm so I'm sure to have decent seatings. Food tastes the same at other locations but Pink Mama doesn't have the right ambience for its food. I don't hate the overall experience, I just don't love it. Ordered a bottle of procesco, truffle pizza, flank steak, and parma. Everything was done right but the steak was a bit on the saltier side. The potatoes were cooked perfectly so they saved the dish. Amazing ambiance! We went to the top floor for dinner & to celebrate our engagement. We were greeted with free champagne to celebrate! Our dishes were great- we split the Caprese salad & truffle pasta. Best truffle dish we've had in all of Europe. The host & server were so friendly! Our server even congratulated us. I appreciated the high quality service & great cocktails. Prices are reasonable for Paris. Definitely NOT over-hyped. Worth it! I must admit, social media made me question coming to Pink Mamma. I can't open TikTok or Instagram without seeing an influencer posting videos of the truffle pasta or a photo on the staircase with the sunroof. Is it just trendy or actually good? We decided to make a lunch reservation to try it out and WOW it did not disappoint. I was beyond impressed by everything from the decor to the food. We started with the Burrata con Pappa Al Pomodoro - the tomato compote underneath the burrata was just outstanding! The fresh bread with some tomato compote + burrata + olive oil on top was one of my top 5 bites of food in Paris. GET IT! We then got the truffle pasta (of course) and the Pappardelle Alla Genovese. First, THE truffle pasta - I no longer blame the influencers for posting this everywhere. We got lucky that it's truffle season so the truffles tasted extremely fresh and paired perfectly with the al dente pasta and the creamy, decadent sauce. I also loved the pasta shape they chose. Next, the Pappardelle was as good (if not better than) the truffle pasta. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente and the meat was extremely tender. If I were to come back, I would get this again! Overall, I couldn't have been more wrong about my initial assessment of Pink Mamma. Yes, it is trendy but for a good reason - it's delicious! An establishment of long standing in the 9th arrondissement, patrons form a long queue to get in--even on an unassuming Monday night, as was the case when we went there. The ambiance is a wonderful collision between France and Italy, and we found ourselves at one of the communal tables on the third floor--sandwiched between a couple from Eastern Europe and another couple that were probably American. Such is the delightful international intersectionality of a place like this! The online ordering system is a wonderful idea. It's especially good for a couple of Americans like us, that are used to taking care of the tab a bit more promptly than most Parisians. It's all good, and this system of checking out meant that we could be as quick or leisurely as we wanted to be. Our server was superb. Even with such a crowd to take care of, he was there to take care of us without our having to lift a finger. And the food. Oh, it was spectacular. We started with the bresaola de bœuf punta d'anca, which was sumptuous. She had the bombetta gorgonzola, and I'm pretty sure she smuggled the plate home just in case there were any morsels left. Pink mama is the most beautiful restaurant you'll find in Paris but prepared to wait, we got there at 10:30am with reservations and there was already a huge line, couldn't get a top floor seat without waiting even with reservations but imo it's worth it. It's so beautiful up there. Even 2nd floor is nice so settle for that if it's your only option. The food here is great and I recommend all of my friends to go there while in Paris, imo it's not as good as east mama, the burrata was not the same as east mama and the pizza was lacking a very litttle in the fermented dough fragrance. I highly recommend trying the red pizza and getting a side of burrata and placing it on top in little balls per slice, it ends up being way more expensive but it's worth it. read more

Totally worth it! The ambiance here is so cute, wish we were able to see the 2nd floor, but it was booked for a private party. The main dining room is a bit cramped, but it was nice. We made reservations and were seated right upon arrival. We came here on our first night in Paris, so it was a wonderful way to start off our trip. My favorite items were the pasta with truffle sauce and the beef tartare, but all of the other dishes were also great. Are you foodie who likes an aesthetic atmosphere in tandem with freshly made and organic ingredients? If that's you, then put Pink Mamma on your itinerary. In the beautiful Montemarte, you will see a line as far as the eyes can see outside of a beautiful pink building. When you find that, you'll know you're in the right place. They do take reservations, however, they are booked out for weeks in advance. We didn't plan accordingly so we decided to chance it. Somehow, we got lucky every time we did this. We were the last large group to be sat. They sat us, along with the other curious travelers, at a family style high top table. I LOVED this as it was a chance to meet new people from around the world and hear their stories. We placed our orders quickly because the chefs were about to be done for the night. Something I found interesting was that every single thing served here is hand made and fresh - from the cheese, to butter, lemonade, you name it AND they make it then and there. That made asking for sauces and sides a bit difficult. If you are someone who likes very specific things with your meals try to think ahead so the chefs have time to make it for you. We decided to try the most popular dishes which were the truffle pizza and truffle pasta - both were excellent. Additionally, after making friends with the two parties next to us, we all decided to share our entrees and desserts so that we could try it all. Everything was fresh and delicious. What a bonding experience it is to share food with total strangers. We left with them to grab coffee at La Maison Rose to continue the conversation. I can't wait to find myself here again someday. Margarita pizza was truly something special because we have been to three different cities in Italy the past couple weeks but this one is the best we have had on this trip! The service is exceptional and the food is literally chef's kiss. While the restaurant and all of its floors are lovely, the most incredible seat is at the sunroom on the top floor. You're surrounded by lush plants and beautiful natural light. Coupled with Parisian architecture around the neighborhood, what more could you want. As far as the food goes -- the truffle pasta was without a doubt one of the best things I've ate in Paris. And I'm not even a huge truffle fan. Make a reservation ahead of time! This place is really popular especially because of the instagram-ability. There was a long line of walk ins that we were able to skip because of the reservation. We started off with the burrata which was pretty good. The mains were decent in flavor; the risotto in particular was too salty. We were really excited about this restaurant but have never been treated worse in a hospitality setting. When we first arrived our table had a napkin doused in olive oil, dirty plates, and dirty utensils. When we asked for new cutlery and napkins the waiter was annoyed. I had high hopes for our dining experience at Pink Mamma, especially after securing a reservation the moment the slot opened. However, our visit was ruined by what appeared to be blatant discrimination. Despite our timely reservation, we were seated in the furthest corner on the second floor, far removed from the ambiance of the main dining area, and view that is shown online. To our dismay, we observed that several French patrons, some without reservations, were escorted to the top floor, where tables had panoramic views of the city. We noticed that the others sat on the 2nd floor with us were English speaking customers, or other foreigners (Indian, Asian, and Black Americans). They also were visibly upset about the seating situation (we saw them talking to the workers multiple times trying to get a table on the 3rd floor), because you are not able to request a table with a view when reserving online. We were the only ones seated on that floor for about 20 minutes. This stark contrast in treatment was not only noticeable but also deeply unsettling. The food was also disappointing.
