Totally worth the hype! We were lucky and got a 6:45 reservation time so we got to sit in the highly coveted terrace floor. Lots of people came up to look at the room and take pictures. Every floor seemed to have a lot of character but the terrace floor is by far the best. There are two lines when you arrive. Those with reservations and those without. An employee comes out to confirm your reservation and make sure you're in the right line. They take the people with reservations to the terrace floor first so if you don't have a reservation, you'll likely get seated in a different area. Now for the food. It was very very good! I had the popular black truffle pasta and it was rich and delicious! The pasta was cooked perfectly. Others at our table got pizza and they said it was great. The pesto burrata appetizer was aaaamazing. The drinks were fun and boozy! All servers had high energy and were very friendly. Food came out quick. Although I really, really wanted to sit on their top floor we did not but we did wander around throughout all of the floors after lunch and the place is just as fabulous as they come. I loved every single square inch. We started with a couple of cocktails; the spritz me up and big mamma I believe. Both of which I was slightly on the fence about because I just don't generally do cocktails but when they arrived - Oh Em Gee!!! They were very yummy and refreshing. I feel like when I can't decide lately I just order two and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the La fameuse pâte à la truffe and it was sooooo good! I love truffle and honestly if you don't you're going to be in trouble because it's very likely the entire place will smell of it, which is my favorite. Dish after dish coming out, and this is a must - I'm certain there's not a table that hasn't ordered it. My friend ordered a pizza and I can't recall which one it was, other than one that would have been the least likely for me to order. I may have tried it, I did. It wasn't my favorite. The pizzas did however look very good. I would have ordered a different one though. My friend spotted a tiramisu order and mentioned they bring out an entire pan and serve you from it. Ummm, what??? SOLD totally ordering the tiramisu and that's literally what happened. It was soooooo delish! This coming from a girl who not so long ago took a self created tour de tiramisu with her girlfriend all around Italy, so trust me when I say this tiramisu is a MUST order. It was perfection. This restaurant is famous for a reason. I don't know if they normally do this but the pizza was a heart shape and I went on Valentine's Day and it was so cute!! We got ice cream brownie sundaes after two and they were so delicious. The pizza was a little heavy for my taste but I'm also not a super pizza person, but I wanted to try out the spicy pizza because I love that. The pizza was definitely not super spicy at all, but it was delicious and very well-made. The cocktail options are so fun and have the cutest names, similar to the pizza all referencing pop artists or singers are famous people in pop culture. I love the vibe in here, even things like the water vase was shaped like a fish and just so thoughtful and cute. There are so many photo opportunities here as there are like four levels and the stairs to go from floor to floor are so beautiful with greenery and paintings and wall art. It was a Sunday night and with little choices out there for dinner because everything else was closed, we chose Pink Mamma. Got there around 7:45 pm, and there was a line out the door JUST to get your name on the waiting list. As I make my way in and finally put my name on the list, they informed me that it will be until 10:00 pm before getting seated. WHAT!!?? Again, with nothing else opened, we waited the 2 hours. Waited at the bar downstairs and that took forever to finally get a waitress to take a drink order, then waited forever to finally get your drink. 10:00 pm finally arrives and we're headed upstairs. Came here for the truffle pasta which looks like a small portion but was honestly sooooo filling and delicious. The pizza we got was absolutely amazing as well. We got seated at the bar which was honestly amazing because we got to see the chefs whipping up their magic. Despite the crowd and cool interior, the food was a bit of a letdown for me and my family. Sadly, I think that the bread and the potatoes were the better part of my meal. My brother and I shared the Tomohawk cut, and we found that the steak was incredibly stringy and tough. It made it seem like their meat quality wasn't as good as anticipated, as it seemed almost as if there were some rubber band texture in the meat that was very hard to break down. My dad ordered the gnnochi, which he wished to be a lot more chewy in texture but turned out to be too soft. I first came across Pink Mamma on IG. I was planning my trip to Paris early September and knew I had to stop by this restaurant. Seeing that it gets packed, I made a reservation prior to my visit about 3 weeks ahead of time. Unfortunately I did request the last floor, but got placed in the second floor (no big deal). Asked the server for her recommendations for food and ordered the Truffle Pasta and Prosciutto. As for drinks I got a Moscow Mule and my fiancé ordered the Big Mamma. Pink Mamma has gained so much traction in recent years thanks to social media. Our airbnb was only a few minutes from here, so we decided to might as well try to wait it out as we are already in the area. We wanted to go during off hours to avoid the long wait and thankfully that worked out. On a Wednesday at 2pm, we had to only wait for 20 minutes and luckily got to sit on the top floor/balcony area that is usually booked out a month in advance. To start, Pink Mamma has very reasonable prices and amazing service compared to other "popular/tiktok famous" restaurants we've tried. Personal ranking goes: truffle pasta, arugula and beef carpaccio salad, and the pizza. The truffle pasta was wow, incredible. Every bite had an aromatic truffle scent to it, I was literally melting in my chair. The arugula and beef carpaccio is just a combination that's hard to make wrong and also hard to hate. And surprisingly, the pizza (which is the most popular), did not live up to my standards. The base was overly sweet and the toppings were soggy, but the crust helped semi redeem this pizza. A REALLY beautiful restaurant on a quiet street near the Moulin Rouge. Went here for lunch - they had only made the first floor open, which I was pretty bummed about because the other floors' decor was what drew me into this place. Very poor quality! The service is awful and the staff is incredibly dysfunctional. They told us a table was ready then no table was available and we had to go back down and wait in the line again. Once we were seated, it took a half hour for someone to wait on us. When someone did finally wait on us, the server was extremely rude. Now to the food. If the food was good, we could overlook the service issues. The truffle pasta was terrible. So bad that I sent it back. The noodles were hard and it was severely under seasoned. The pappardelle was alright but not great, especially compared to Italy. This is solely a TikTok famous place for American tourists. Stay away if you like good food. Our final day in Paris, we had lunch at the gorgeous Italian restaurant- Pink Mama. It is a trattoria on 4 floors located in the Pigalle Quarter of Paris. The staff lined the walls of the winding staircase & cheered as we walked up to the 4th floor. We felt like celebrities! We were seated on the top floor terrace which has a skylight, a collection of artwork, lamps, and lots of foliage that make it look like something from a fairytale!  The cocktails and food were also spectacular! We started with the Burrata All Pesto Rossi. Think fresh a huge ball of fresh mozzarella with a dollop of dried chilli pepper and basil on top served with fresh Sardinian bread & crunchy fried bread. To share we ordered the La Fameuse Pata A La Truffee - fresh seasonal truffle, black truffle cream, mascarpone and small mushrooms over homemade pasta! For my main lunch dish, I had the Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca Di Tonno- spiced spaghetti topped with Mediterranean cooked red tuna belly, olives, capers and raw red tuna tartare on top! I had to try this place given all the hype. Pro tip before we get into the review, if you don't have a reservation go solo as it will move you to the beginning of the line a lot quicker. I went solo without a reservation and stood at the end of a very long waiting line, but was called for a seat at the bar within 5-10 minutes. Of course I ordered the truffle pasta, which was good. It was creamy and mushroomy and most of what I had imagined. It lacked salt, but I was able to sprinkle some on myself. To kill the time we went to the speakeasy type bar that is part of the restaurant in the basement. Dim lighting, great drinks, and soft music. We enjoyed that part very much. When we sat for our table, we were lucky enough to get the top floor which has a glass ceiling so you can see the sky. It also had flowers hanging from the ceiling which was a nice touch.
