I love this little family owned nail salon. I got a full set of acrylic with designs for Easter and they did not disappoint. She replicated the picture that I showed her almost to the DOT and even made it better. I love all the pink Aesthetics that they have in the place. I can't believe how awful my nails look. You can see in the photo that I left the salon with rough cut up cuticles, different lengths and different shapes of each nail. It's pretty apparent especially in the pinky & thumb nails finger where the nail is leaning to one side. My pointer finger with the half heart had to be restarted more than once because the woman assisting me couldn't get the shape right. She was also on FaceTime with someone while she was working on those fingers so I'm not sure if her skills would be better if she wasn't distracted looking at someone on her phone. And I didn't just sit there and watch the nail tech mess up my nails. I did ask her to shorten some of them, sharpen more, adjust the heaviness on one side...it didn't help. I wish I had listened to the Yelp reviews and requested the woman everyone talks about because whoever I got definitely wasn't her. I'm never coming back here again. read more

The massage chairs are relaxing and all of the products they use (lotions,creams etc) smell really nice. At the time I came in I happened to be the only one there and so the service was very fast. When looking up the shop to go there, it said that parking in the area would be hard to find but I was fortunate enough to grab a parking spot right in front of the shop. I brought in my own polish because I wanted a specific color, (so I'm not sure if that affects the price) for the mani/pedi, it was under $40 and quality work. I am giving it a two star because the convenience of making an appointment over the phone was easy however when I got there it looked to me as they were already getting ready to close and I felt like my pedicure was rushed I was in and out of there in 24 minutes I feel like if they could be a little bit more detailed with their pedicures it would be better and not feel rushed I was offered a callus remover and it was not even applied for even five minutes my overall gel was applied very heavy and blotchy. The overall experience felt very rushed. The lady that I had didn't even quite cut my cuticles and I know that he had been a while since I had a pedicure and most of the time I do get dead skin and I feel like my feet were not quite cleaned. Unfortunately I would not return. Parking was fairly easy it's street parking. The service is sooooo slooooow. Geeeezuuuus. Got started around 6:15 and wasn't done until after 7:25!! Over an hour for a basic pedi is ridiculous. She painted all my toes, base coat, top coat, everything. Thought she was done but then she proceeded to remove the paint from my big toe and redo it because the paint job was messy messy messy. When she was done painting the same toe for the 2nd time. She removed the paint AGAIN from the same damn toe and repainted the nail FOR THE THIRD TIME. It gets worse. She stopped painting my toe nail (for the third time) after one coat to answer her phone!!! I'm shook to my core. I wouldn't recommend coming here. Service sucks. read more

So in preparation before coming into a nail salon I looked through their photos to ensure that my nails wouldn't come out terrible. I came across a photo by a mimi and were a pink and black ombré design. So I confidently walk into this salon and tell them I needed a fill and gel and while she started working on my nails I showed her the design and she said that they don't do ombré and she didn't have the tools to try. So I'm already in the chair I try to come up with something similar or with the technicians skill ability. So I settle for a pink and one black nail. The pink color I picked from their samples was missing so they didn't have that. (Second item they didn't have) when it came to the application of the gel they realized they only one uv light!! They had another one but was broken and there was another costumer already using it so I had to wait until she was done with her manicure. After all the missing inventory I was not given a discount. Also they only take cash one of their coworkers walked me to the nearby gas station. On that walk I asked if there was a mimi working there and she confirmed my suspicions. They are using other nail techs photos to get costumers. How do you have an ombré design and then tell your costumers that you don't do ombré?? read more

Don't come here for a eyebrow wax. The lady that did mine did a horrible job. I should have just plucked my own eyebrows myself. I told her I wanted thin and after she messed with them after plucking them for a while I looked in the mirror and my hairs were not removed. I told her to take them out. For some reason, I am constantly in search of a decent nail salon that doesn't over charge and under service. After visiting Gelish, this is still the case and I have not found it to be great in any sense. I booked an appointment for myself and my friend at 12:30, for two full sets and two pedicures. We arrived and they seated us immediately and offered us complimentary wine; not expensive wines but it was generous nonetheless. The massage chairs were extremely comfortable. The overall establishment is a fixer-upper, but I tend to like the feel of those types of places. The lady who worked on my pedicure was extremely nice and conversational. I didn't happen to catch her name but she was pleasant and was very attentive to what I asked for. I had to have a previous full set soaked off. This is where the lack of stars comes in. The lady who was removing the acrylic and doing my nails was pleasant at first; she wears a white jacked and has glasses, older lady. Mind you we sat down at 12:30. By the time she was placing the new acrylic on my nails, it was SO THICK that it took her almost an hour and a half to file it off. I did not leave this place until 3:30. I kid you not. She not only put the acrylic on too thick (only to file it down to a nicer thin layer), she kept cutting my cuticles while filing - making them bleed. When she saw I was not happy about that she apologized by saying it was my fault for moving my hand... which I didn't. But that is awful customer service either way. The full set ended up looking kinda chunky and I'm not exactly pleased. The pedicure was wonderful. But the manicure was lackluster and took entirely too long, I left what was supposed to be a relaxing endeavor, more irritated than ever. Who wants to spend 3 hours on a 1.5 hour process, total? Honestly wasn't worth $63, and three stars is being generous. Won't be returning. Update: So, hesitantly at first, I returned here the other day because I was attending a formal event the following night and desperately needed a fill. I won't lie in saying that this was my first choice; the other places I tried were too full and it was too last second. But thankfully that was the case, because my second experience here was NOTHING like the first. I walked in, sat down and they told me they'd be with me shortly. I waited for about 25 minutes - not too bad for no appointment (and they were busy). Tiffany started to attend to me and take the gel polish off of the nails. I hadn't encountered her on my first visit, as she had done my friends nails - but she was so sweet and friendly. She finished taking the gel polish off and I was transferred to MiMi. All I can say is, she is impeccable. She's meticulous, friendly, listens to exactly what you would like and does just that. She is, however, ALWAYS booked and for good reason. I really lucked out. It's best to call ahead for an appointment. As MiMi did my nails though, she remembered me from our previous visit and even said she was glad I returned (I'm guessing she saw the first review). It was very kind of her to follow up and it shows that they do care about their customer service. I will now gladly be a repeat customer and booking my appointments solely with her or Tiffany. I originally found this place on Yelp, I wanted to try it out since even the most expensive nail salon I used to go to didn't really do a good job and I figured I'd test my luck considering all the beautiful photos of nails that were done on previous clients. I came and wanted to get a gel mani/pedi, I remember there were 2 very kind and warming ladies who welcomed me and smiled. Offered me a drink (they have wine!), Ms. Linda and Kim were so sweet! Kim is the owner, Kim unfortunately left as I sat down to get my pedicure started, these 2 older ladies came to tend to my toes and fingers, 1 which was VERY rude. Mind you, I'm Vietnamese myself, so I try not to go in speaking so just in case they decide to get rude or insult me in Vietnamese. Anyway, they messed up everything, made me bleed, didn't even properly finish and demanded me to pay them a total of $60. Ms Linda was still there and she interrupted them by letting them know she'll call Kim to let her handle it since I was not satisfied with their work. Kim told Linda to take my number so that Kim can contact me. I left without paying, I got a text from Kim, apologizing on the 2 ladies' behalf and asked if I can give her shop a chance to fix this for me. I was VERY hesitant but I agreed. I came back the next day and Kim had her 2 god daughters work on my mani pedi, it was AMAZING. They were so nice and talkative, everything came out flawless and if I had ANY concerns they took it seriously right away and fixed it with no argument. That visit made up for the 1st. I recently returned back for another gel mani pedi yesterday, I make an appt with Kim and again, she was soooo welcoming and so sweet! She helped me pick out a few glitters since she caught on that I am very indecisive (whoops!) Lol, but we agreed on a color and the whole visit was just super relaxing! Definitely take into consideration that it is street parking but usually there's parking in front. They are re modeling but it looks super cute inside!
