So she did my toes, I got regular polish, even though she was not accurate on coloring the full Nail I figured whatever I could just remove the polish later. I left and came back to do a gel manicure however I did have gel X nails, she charged me $10 to remove on top of the manicure however, when I realized that she was not able to take off fully what I previously had, I told her I would just rather do a regular manicure no gel, so she charged me $30 total. $20 for a manicure and $10 for the removal of the gelx however, she did not remove it completely. Again, she was not accurate with the nail polish, which caused the paint to be uneven, cakey and just horrible. I told her that I would want a different color, but she refused to remove the color she claimed she did her "job". I had chosen a mustard color to begin with, and if I would've known, she wasn't able to take off completely the gelx I had then I would've gone with something different like sparkles.

I guess she assumed I had gel on my toenails? I paid for the pamper me pedi, but it felt very basic. The pedicure itself was sloppy. My daughter's pedicure was good. However her manicure chipped in a day. I get that regular polish chips much more quickly than gel, but if they only want to work with gel polish, then they shouldn't offer regular polish. I was disappointed in the end. It felt like we were being penalized for not getting gel. Even though we had an appointment, I felt like we were in the way. I'm so sad, I really thought I had found my nail shop.

And when we set up a reservation to come in I feel that he should've just finished with the one lady's nails and then did ours but instead he continued on to do theirs and they had a little bit of an attitude with us and I really don't care! You should've made yourself an appointment also! And when I looked at my toenails when she did my pedicure she forgot to put the topcoat on! She was in a rush to get out of there also! No matter what design, color combination, or random inspiration photo I bring her, she executes it flawlessly every single time. I've attached a few photos of some of the sets she's done for me over the past year because her work really speaks for itself. One thing that always impresses me is how healthy my natural nails have stayed. These are my real nails, and I only get gel manicures, so I can't personally speak to acrylics or some of the other nail services they offer. With the expensive costs it's simply not worth it. The place is very cute and staff is very kind. Overall will not get any manicures here in future but pedicures sure.

When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. I wish they would've told me upfront that this cannot be done. I would not request for anything out of the basic mani pedi here.

Absolutely love this place! The employees here are so wonderful and kind. They even offered a drink, and are very hospitable. Everything about this place is great, and honestly one of the best nail salon's in San Diego. The owner, Kim, is really nice and actually talks with her customers instead of the usual silence you get at salons. They really make you feel welcomed. As for the nails, they did a beautiful job. They have color changing nail polish and are always looking for new nail trends. I really recommend coming here!! And bring your friends as well. Best Nail Spa in San Diego! My nail technician is Mimi and she's been doing my nails for 10+ years and she can LITERALLY do any design you could ever desire or imagine. She's always booked with regular clients so you must make an appointment well in advance. All of the Nail Tech's here are very friendly and professional. This spa is very clean, they sanitize their instruments after use, they use disposable foot tub covers in their whirlpool spas, and it feels like a warm family atmosphere unlike most nail spas. read more

Tried this place for the first time and as soon I walked in I was greeted and everyone had a warm smile, the staff was SUPER FRIENDLY They had a large selection of gel and regular polishes to choose from ( not cheap polishes either) . The young girl did my pedicure also did a great job .
