The lady who did my set was not exactly a "peach" and she got mad at me twice for not holding my hand the right way. I think they overbooked and she was trying to rush hence a bit of frustration. AMAZING! My normal place and backup place were all booked up, so I came here and was very pleasantly surprised. Not only is it next to one of my favorite restaurants, Nori Sushi Wraps (highly recommend coming here before or after your appointment), but the service was excellent, and my nails look great! Molly, took care of me in a courteous and professional manner. She works fast and has obvious longtime exprience. I needed a pedicure but wanted to see how the fill went first. I ended up deciding to get the pedicure with Vivian who was sweet and did a decent job. The place was large and clean and had a calming atmosphere. I liked the large massage chairs and tv viewing while you wait. I have not had a chance to see Molly or her husband in action on a full set of acrylics yet, so I will update my review when I do as that will be the ultimate test. It's clean and pretty inside. People are very friendly and I would say actual service is not bad.However, I made appointment for 3:00 PM. So I went in and the time I had to wait 40 minutes til they started my pedi. That is the reason for 2 star. It is just Pedi and if they told me right after I come in " we can not take you in for another 40 minutes" ( Thought I had APPO) I would have went to different spot cuz most of nail place are walk in anyways. The top 5 things I love about this place (in no particular order): 1. It is completely sanitary. They wash their tools with soap and water and then they sanitize them. If you want a disposable plastic to cover you spa pedicure tub you can request it. 2. If you mess up your gel manicure within 10 days of having them done just go back and they will fix you up free of charge. 3. They use LED lamps for gels not UV lamps. For some this just means faster drying nails but for me it means avoiding cancer causing rays and skipping the sunscreen application prior getting my nails done. 4. Friendly service. It's always nice when your nail technicians ask you how you are and make small talk, but it's even nicer when you can ask them how they are and they will talk to you freely. 5. It's pink! Seriously, everything is pink, hence the name! Nothing more girly than getting your nails done unless you are getting your nails done in a pink salon! Enjoy ladies. It is slightly more than I am use to paying for gels and a pedicure, but the service is worth it! It is very reasonable for what they have to offer. read more

I work with my hands a lot and I usually get gel since my nail polish won't chip, but getting gel here does chip around the 2nd week :( I've been here at least 3 times. I've been to other places that seem to apply them very well and they stay on my nails for weeks until I have to get them removed. I have been a patron of Pink Nails twice now, and both times have brought two different friends with me for mani-pedis. This has immediately become my favorite nail salon of all time. I have had quite the experience with other nail salons--negative ones, that is. I've had people cut open my fingers til they bleed, nail polish chip within a day, and so on so forth (and it isn't me; I promise!) These are supposedly higher end salons, too! Needless to say, I'm always less than satisfied with the quality, and frequently leave feeling upset (which...who wants to feel upset when the point is to feel relaxed and pampered?) Fast forward to me finding Pink Nails. The owner of the shop is the sweetest lady who cares about all of her customers. My mani pedi was such a relaxing, awesome experience that I left feeling like a queen! The nail polish lasted 1-2 weeks each time (REGULAR, not gel....amazing!) and little things like hot lotion arm massages, massage chairs, and bottles of ice cold water sure make me feel amazing. It's about $30 for a mani pedi, and be sure to bring cash for tipping. I only write Stellar reviews or my worst experiences. This was one of my worst from yesterday. I just moved to south pas so I needed to find my new local nail place. I saw the reviews so I thought, seems like a great place! I made an appointment and asked for gel French mani and regular french pedi at 6pm. I told the tech my nails were thin and brittle that's why I need gel; to make them thicker, so please watch out for the nail file. I also had a broken nail so it's glued. Please watch for it. As soon as she started, she completely forgot about what I said and filed the crap out of my nails to the point where they broke and were paper thin! I was freaking out and getting major anxiety. She put nail powder to thicken them since she broke the one that I already mended. Not only to add to this disaster, she was so rushed to complete before closing at 7:30 (my appointment started at 6!!! Why is a mani pedi over an ho us and half long!) that she got gel polish all over my hands and cuticles! I was so upset and also felt rushed , I didn't say anything. I just wanted to get the F out of there and never come back. At the register, she had the nerve to tell me she wasn't going to charge the broken nail mend THAT SHE BROKE HERSELF AND THAT I WARNED HER ABOUT. thank you so much for being so generous. And sloppy. The service provider appeared to be in a rush, was very rough and not interested in asking questions like what shape I wanted my nails, and then appeared irritated when I told her I wanted a round shape instead of a square. It's possible there was a language barrier. It's not the best polish job, but it hasn't chipped yet which is a plus. My manicures and pedicures here, (three times) always look like "sleepover pedicures" like how your friends in elementary school used to do your nails. I'm a pedi pro all along the 'Fair Oaks Corridor' from North to South, I frequent them all and have favorites - some who are harder to walk into without an appt and those I hit when I just need one right now. I've come to Pink 3x as a walk-in and I'm all done. My pedi today was $25 and I can't wait to re-do it. I can't tell who the boss is either. I just moved to the area, and I found this place while yelping for my new go-to nail salon. I walked in with an appointment and only waited a few short minutes before they were ready to take me. That was great! The salon is very clean and the technicians are polite and professional. I really don't care much for when the technicians yell and chat with each other in another language from across the room, which has happened lots of times, but not at this place. That is a big plus for me since I am there to relax! The technician that gave me a manicure did a good job at cleaning up my nails and cuticles. I wasn't too crazy about the way she shaped and painted them (I like the polish all the way to the cuticle and she left a little space.) I'm still giving them 5 stars though because I feel like that is a matter of personal preference and not her wrong doing. My Pedi was great! Plus, they're open at a decent time on Sunday mornings (10 AM) and very accommodating. I came here for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I told them I needed to be out within an hour as I had another appointment and they were able to do a good job within that time frame. The price is affordable (my total was about $50 total, not including tip). I had to come back shortly that afternoon as I smudged my toes, and despite being busy, they catered to me really quickly. Friendly staff. I was taken without an appointment for eye brow wax and full set of acrylics. Wax was great! Acrylics were great at first. I loved them. Then on the third day one of my nails started to peel off at the cuticle. The next day the rest did the same. The picture shown is from 8 days after. I've had acrylics before and this should last a good two weeks. I will probably not be back for acrylics. I might give them a second chance with gel manicure. This was my first time visiting this salon, I saw the grand opening sign from across the plaza in el pollo loco. I walked inside and they were able to accommodate me right away! I will definitely return FACILITY: extremely clean facility! It's nicely decorated and has great ambiance. True to its name, most everything in this salon is pink. Even the (very clean) restrooms are pink. They have a great OPI display with swatches that show all the newest colors. They mostly use OPI, Essie and a little China glaze. They also have great spa pedicure chairs and comfortable chairs at the nail stations. SERVICE: I came in to get a full set of acrylics.They were done quickly and professionally and look great! Also, the technician was very nice. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and we had a nice conversation while she did my nails. I only had time for the nails, but they offer a multitude of other services: waxing, eyelashes, facials, etc. so I will hopefully return soon to try something else. PRICES: I got 20% off as a grand opening promotion but the regular prices are very competitive in comparison to salons in the area. I didn't see them posted anywhere but they have brochures with the pricing listed. One thing that I really appreciated was that they waited until my nails were dry and I was completely finished before accepting payment. A lot of places will ask before putting on the top coat or before putting your nails under the dryer or UV light. This technician waited until everything was done and I was completely satisfied before taking payment. They do ask that you tip in cash, so have some handy! read more

Molly worked on my nails today and she did a great job. Molly is so popular that she does try to push you off on to a staffer who is not working on anyone. If you book yourself with a client you should honor the appointment. I would return but I would choose to schedule during a less busier time. I felt like Molly was rushing which made the experience uncomfortable for this client. Molly really should have the staff that are sitting around to help answer the phone. I usually don't like it when guys do my nails, because it always goes wrong... but Tim is great! They are very gentle with you and they handle your hands/nails with lots of care. They do a really good and through job on my gel pedicures. It's a cute nail salon and they give you a little bottle of water when you first sit down. I've been to them twice now and have loved the services I've received. However today I received very poor customer service. They were really busy and I called to make an appointment which they said they could accommodate 2 gel pedicures and manicures and a child's nail paint. We get there and there is confusion about the prices. Which the owner keeps telling me she told me it was a different price plus the $25 for gel. Then she tells me I have to hurry up and not make the nail paint polish "difficult" for the nail technician. That they are very busy and if I can help them out by not getting more than one color for my daughter. My mother and I spent over $175 here and she's the audacity to ask this?! It was very very unprofessional and really made me upset. She never said goodbye or thank you when we left. It makes me disappointed because I do like their services here but this does makes it hard for me to want to spend money at this establishment. I've come here for a while. They used to do consistently good work. I don't love how I'm treated and the work continues to be inconsistent. Multiple times, I've had a cracked acrylic nail. Either it's not fixed or it's poorly fixed and breaks the next day. Today, the crack remains visible but I didn't have time to have it corrected at the end of the service.
