    Broccoli and chicken lunch GF
    Kimy P.

Came here last week during my lunch break. I've noticed the business during my outings around gaslight village so on that particular day we decided to try it out. It has a Pan-Asian fusion vibe with traditional Chinese menu. The lady in the front recommended to try the broccoli chicken with the white sauce and that she'd add more rice instead of the crab Rangoon since it has gluten. She was very hospitable and tried her best with every customer that came in. We were the only ones that sat inside to eat while other customers just did takeout. The lady even opened the door for a customer which I thought was kind. Food wise it was descent, sometimes it can be limiting to have gluten restrictions so it was more like comfort food rather than super flavorful. The effort was appreciated, although it'd be nice if they had GF soy sauce as other Asian restaurants have. My mom said she liked her green tea jasmine mango milk tea even though you really didn't taste the tea flavors, it was more like mango milk tea. Overall it's a cute concept and we always like to support local Asian businesses but just wish there were more GF options.

Love the golden milk! I had it hot without sugar and it was amazing! Owners are incredibly friendly! Great spot for lunch!

Before I get into the nitty gritty, I want to say that I enjoyed my experience and I enjoyed the food. However, I had such high hopes for this after seeing pictures on Facebook... and I have to say that I was unfortunately a little disappointed. While GOOD, for the cost, it was definitely more expensive than I'd prefer. My friends and I went before heading to an event down the street and walked in to see a few tables and very smiley staff. They greeted us immediately and we just sat down with a few menus to review what we wanted. It is counter service - which we knew - but since we were waiting for a few people, the owner came by to let us know to order online or at the counter whenever we were ready, and even to ask questions should we have it. We decided to split a few appetizers and order some noodles to get a variety of things to try! Let's start with the Boba - it was delicious. It was also a little pricey ($6.50) but I thought of it as a treat. I ordered the Lychee Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Lychee Popping Bobas and it was delicious! I forgot to ask for less sweetness and whoa was it sweet! I could have easily gulped it down, but I wanted to savor it. The sweetness was way too much for my liking so next time, I'll ask for 0% sweetness or 25% (if that's possible). There was ample amounts of popping boba though which I loved. Potstickers: I prefer steamed and am in search for the best potsticker/dumpling in GR and I was kind of disappointed. The flavor was good, but they were nothing special. Possibly better pan fried so I may have to try that next time. Chicken Wings: They came out and looked great! They were cripsy and I appreciated that he put the sauce on the side, though in hindsight would have preferred that they were tossed given that the sauce was fairly runny and not thick enough to just dip. Though, when I bit into it, they were a little under cooked and borderline not edible. It just made me a little weary of it so I only had some of it. Scallion Pancakes: I really enjoyed these! I haven't had any in GR that I really enjoyed so I think this was my favorite of the appetizers that we tried. The cilantro dipping sauce was very flavorful and quite delicious. They pancakes weren't super crispy but were flavorful and enjoyable. Lo-Mein with Chicken: I would say that these are fairly standard, run of the mill, Chinese Lo-Mein. Not overly greasy but he packed that to-go box FULL and it was dense and heavy! Probably the best bang for your buck since it gave me like 4 meals. I liked the flavor and enjoyed them as leftovers. I always just wish that lo-mein had more veggies in general but still good. Shang-Hai Scallion Oil Noodles: This looked delicious and there was definitely an abundance of noodles provided. Though, I think I would have preferred the noodles to be a bit more saucy as it felt a little dry towards the bottom of the container. The owners were so friendly and kind. They were attentive, gave us plates and napkins for us to share everything and even gave us some extra drink samples to try because they made extra! Overall, I enjoyed my experience but for my meal being $30+ (just for me - boba, app and noodles), I'd probably prefer to go somewhere else and not get take-out Chinese food.

Such a pleasant experience at Pink Piggy. The food was thoroughly delicious. The cheeseburger egg rolls are an EXCELLENT appetizer, well worth the $2.5 each. The Beijing sesame noodle lunch with braised beef was also well made; the noodle texture was great and the peanut sauce really lifted the dish as a whole. It was great to get crab rangoons and steamed veggies with it all too! Employees were so kind and its location in GR'd east town is relaxed and fun!

We just came for drinks, but loved them! The boba drinks were really tasty - and we will definitely be back for food another time!

Hangry and craving burger and fry's.. my friends swayed me to come. I was blown away by the service/food. My friends and I loved the Orange chicken, Crab Rangoon, and General Tso. The shakes hit but after asking for horchata I was told to come back. Echo's personalized touch preparing horchata variants for me based on her undercover research at mexican restaurants, truly made the experience unforgettable.

Slow braised beef and rice with steamed veggies. The beef was so tender and flavorful!

This place is just awesome. They've got a small menu of dishes - some you are probably used to, and others that invite you to try something new. Either way, you can't go wrong. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is obvious. Also, the owners are so kind! I highly recommend giving this place a shot.

Yum. That's all. The Singapore noodles are nice, with a braised beef that reminds of pot roast. Yummy and homey.

We stopped for lunch slightly after the lunch rush and still found a crowded restaurant. We were seated quickly and despite being pretty busy, our server was great and the kitchen was as well because our wait for food once ordered was minimal. We ordered Gyoza, Bao, Spicy tuna rolls and Big Shrimp Tempura rolls. 1. Gyoza-fantastic. Pan fried just enough to bring out the flavor of the ingredients and wrapper. Most places overcook gyoza and while still decent, are not nearly as good as these were. 2. Bao. Once I tried these out of town I was hooked. Have-not seen them one any menu until I came here. We ordered pork and it was perfect. 3. Spicy Tuna Rolls-slight disappointment. The tuna is ground up and mixed with the spices to make it spicy. I would not order this again. After talking to your server, she said I could oder traditional tuna rolls and have the spices applied externally rather than mixed up in a ground up fashion. Perhaps I will order this way next time but there is so many other dishes that need to be tried. 4. Big Shrimp Tempura. Wonderful. Great flavors I looked at other tables and Bento Boxes, ramen dishes and hibachi items looked really, really good and need to be explored as well. I'm predicting we will become regulars here. What a great place!!

The parking lot for this shared building can get a little congested with the Starbucks drive through, so be prepared to be patient, or just park on the side street. They are super quick with making and topping your doughnuts, or you can place an order online. I prefer the fruity options, while Nate usually goes for something chocolate/coffee. Our friends are regulars so they guided us on ordering and mixing up our sauces, which was really helpful. Our server was super kind and went through the menu options with us. It's all you can eat and they'll just keep bringing out more items throughout your time. Our server was really good about checking in with us. For hot pot you choose your own broth flavor for your personal hot pot - I went with the Szechuan which was spicy and numbing. I really liked it! Nate got the mushroom, which he said was just okay. I'd recommend starting with a bunch of items all at once. The meats are very thin cuts and cook quickly in the broth. We also got an assortment of veggies, dumplings, and my favorite, the udon noodles. The menu gives cooking times for each item which is helpful. Your price includes all you can eat hot pot or Korean BBQ - you can do both for an extra $6 or so. I honestly think I prefer hot pot to Korean BBQ, it's a little easier and more forgiving of a cooking method. I thought the options were nicely varied, and you get access to the sides/dessert buffet, with salads, kimchi, chicken feet, fries, egg rolls, etc. and the sauce bar that has tons of options! They also have a full bar and serve sake, soju, boba, etc. I really loved this spot and thought the service was by far the best of the hot pot places I've visited in the area.
