Or you can choose to have a U-Haul Representative verify it for you the next business day. There is $20.00 convinience fee for this option." So since I did verification of the equipment return on mobile device while I was dropping off the truck. That should have covered the $20.00 convinience fee. But, U-Haul decided to charge me just because I dropped off the key after hours, although I did the verification on the mobile phone.  Basically, U-Haul decided to rob and steal money off of a customer. Very dissappointed by the how thing were handled. Because i E-mailed about this fee to the genral manager, Arcturus Johnso, and I STILL owe the $20 fee even after following the steps as it is stated on the CONTRACT. I did not know U-Haul was a thief that steals money from customers. General manager stated unless if the trucks are returned in person, there is a $20 fee. The general manager, he himself does not know the company policy.

Pick up was fine , but I was very confused . 1) the pick up truck was a massive 18 wheeler that this company must've contracted out. Nowhere did it say "Poseidon moving" . 2) the men who helped load the trucks were from "Hidalgo movers" again nowhere did it say they were from Poseidon moving 3) once I got the keys to my apt, and spoke to my landlord about that big 18 wheeler coming by, he said absolutely not. So I informed the company the day before " hey yall can't bring that 18 wheeeler in you will have to transfer my items into a smaller moving truck" . They said they understood , however the day of the move I see the 18 wheeler at the entrance of the apartment complex blocking the entrance . It was extremely embarrassing. Then some two dudes come by in a ford truck and trailer . With plates from Alabama . Again I have no idea who they were , they didn't have any Poseidon moving logos. Furthermore they asked for water?! And I had none obviously . 4) my boxes came in smashed, and I'm somehow missing two items that I literally saw them load in the truck : my piano stand and my towel rack. I'm not sure how these items could've gotten lost if my items were never transferred out of that initial 18 wheeler.

It was difficult to secure a 1 way this time of year from Cambridge to midwest. U-Haul dispatch in MA confirmed everything the Monday before pickup. Truck in excellent condition. Drove it 2 days west and will drop it next week at another location. We did see 2 big bugs in truck interior but were able to kill these before loading items. I know there are reviews talking about rodents in the storage location here. I am guessing this truck was moved to Cambridge for my 1 way since dispatch was working on my reservation. Due the high probability of transmitting a deadly disease carried by rodent, I was forced to discard my belongings!!! These items were destroyed by rats eating, nesting and probably reproducing inside my storage unit # 366 located at your Uhaul location in Cambridge,MA 844 Main Street. 02139 I complained about my unit having been overturned by rodents, back in October 2017. But nothing really happened. I understand that unfortunately, there is a huge homeless, disenfranchised people that occupy your area. I was threatened by one of your ex-customers that , had a storage unit next to mine, a year ago. They started asking me for money, then the man became aggressive and threatened me! I called 911, a Cambridge, Massachusetts police officer arrived. When I told the officer what happened, they lied and changed their version of events. The officer, let them go with a warning. And I quickly left your Uhaul location and headed home! Another time, I came to your location early on a Sunday morning, I was stuck outside your Cambridge Uhaul location because your after hours access card would not work!!!!! A caucasian man with a seringe dangling out of his arm, stumbled down the sidewalk towards me. He asked me for money, I noticed he had dried up blood on his arm, I told him I didn't have any money and ran away! I contacted your Uhaul customer service number, and explained, I was being charged an extra $5 for after hours access, and still couldn't get inside!!! And I also believe some of them also rent storage units and probably store food items in those storage items, in your Cambridge,MA location. I am not blaming you for the staff at this particular U-lHaul l ocationor what happened to me me or the serious rodents problem in your location. But, my belongings should have been safe and not destroyed by disease carrying rodents!! I have spent in excess of $2,000.00 during the 2 1/2 years of being your customer. I am sorry, I had to terminate my business with Uhaul. But between the rodents destroying and contaminating my entire storage unit, also I am purchasing a home in March, and I am now storing in a friend's home, here in Brookline, MA. I considered leaving some of my personal items in my storage unit, in your Cambridge Uhaul location. Because I could not salvage those because they were too contaminated with rodent excrement and the possible spread of dangerous pathogens and disease!
