Or you can choose to have a U-Haul Representative verify it for you the next business day. There is $20.00 convinience fee for this option." So since I did verification of the equipment return on mobile device while I was dropping off the truck. That should have covered the $20.00 convinience fee. But, U-Haul decided to charge me just because I dropped off the key after hours, although I did the verification on the mobile phone.  Basically, U-Haul decided to rob and steal money off of a customer. Very dissappointed by the how thing were handled. Because i E-mailed about this fee to the genral manager, Arcturus Johnso, and I STILL owe the $20 fee even after following the steps as it is stated on the CONTRACT. I did not know U-Haul was a thief that steals money from customers. General manager stated unless if the trucks are returned in person, there is a $20 fee. The general manager, he himself does not know the company policy.

Pick up was fine , but I was very confused . 1) the pick up truck was a massive 18 wheeler that this company must've contracted out. Nowhere did it say "Poseidon moving" . 2) the men who helped load the trucks were from "Hidalgo movers" again nowhere did it say they were from Poseidon moving 3) once I got the keys to my apt, and spoke to my landlord about that big 18 wheeler coming by, he said absolutely not. So I informed the company the day before " hey yall can't bring that 18 wheeeler in you will have to transfer my items into a smaller moving truck" . They said they understood , however the day of the move I see the 18 wheeler at the entrance of the apartment complex blocking the entrance . It was extremely embarrassing. Then some two dudes come by in a ford truck and trailer . With plates from Alabama . Again I have no idea who they were , they didn't have any Poseidon moving logos. Furthermore they asked for water?! I called 911, a Cambridge, Massachusetts police officer arrived. When I told the officer what happened, they lied and changed their version of events. The officer, let them go with a warning. And I quickly left your Uhaul location and headed home! Another time, I came to your location early on a Sunday morning, I was stuck outside your Cambridge Uhaul location because your after hours access card would not work!!!!! A caucasian man with a seringe dangling out of his arm, stumbled down the sidewalk towards me. He asked me for money, I noticed he had dried up blood on his arm, I told him I didn't have any money and ran away! I contacted your Uhaul customer service number, and explained, I was being charged an extra $5 for after hours access, and still couldn't get inside!!! And I also believe some of them also rent storage units and probably store food items in those storage items, in your Cambridge,MA location. I am not blaming you for the staff at this particular U-lHaul l ocationor what happened to me me or the serious rodents problem in your location. But, my belongings should have been safe and not destroyed by disease carrying rodents!! I have spent in excess of $2,000.00 during the 2 1/2 years of being your customer. I am sorry, I had to terminate my business with Uhaul. But between the rodents destroying and contaminating my entire storage unit, also I am purchasing a home in March, and I am now storing in a friend's home, here in Brookline, MA. I was a little nervous that they didn't take a deposit - were they really going to show up?? but not only did they show up (and on time), they worked so quickly you wouldn't have guessed they were getting paid hourly. 10/10, would recommend and will rebook next time I have to move (hopefully not soon).

The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time.
