I just had one of the worst Customer service experiences I've ever had and I've always been a big fan of They sent the wrong order when I called about the order. The girl basically said that she couldn't help me that I should come back on my own and pick up order, but she couldn't help when I asked how long been working she didn't know the said I don't know and hung up on me. The person that served me was Emily. She works at 2508 Broadway location and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I used to come here all the time, but I feel like the portion sizes have decreased by a lot which is sad. I still love frozen yogurt and Pinkberry though and I won't necessarily lose my loyalty to them but here are a few things to keep in mind. The place is always bustling, even on a weekday night, but you never have to wait too long in line. - Chocolate Hazelnut - I'm not sure if chocolate and frozen yogurt go together if I'm being honest, it tasted more like chocolate ice cream to me. Regardless, I enjoyed trying this flavor out although it wouldn't be my first pick. - Original - This is my all-time favorite frozen yogurt flavor. I used to think original was very boring but its tartness combined with its subtle sweetness is what makes it the best flavor. I feel like it's pretty easy to get bored of ice cream, but frozen yogurt is genuinely something I couldn't get bored of. - Pomegranate - Fruit and frozen yogurt is the best combination. The tartness of the yogurt combined with the sweetness of the pomegranate is what makes this another great combo. Out of all their fruit flavors, including the new dragonfruit and strawberry Barbie one, I like this one the best. Overall, solid froyo place although the portion sizes are definitely shrinking. It was just like the other locations I loved, and I had to go with the original tart flavor I always got which of course was as delicious as always. I went for the small size with toppings and ended up having a coupon on my old mobile account so that was a fun surprise as the prices seemed a bit higher than I remembered. For toppings, I stick to the fruit. I went for mango, strawberries, and blueberries and also added the mango boba. All of the toppings were very fresh. I will definitely be back again! read more

This store did not offer self serve froyo which was a shock to me but it would make sense given that it's in New York City. I sampled the mango sorbet and that was really good but I was in the mood for chocolate so I got the chocolate hazelnut but I couldn't taste the hazelnut in the froyo. Also the texture of the froyo was more icey than creamy as if they had a lower cream content and was diluting with more water instead. For my toppings I chose chocolate pretzel, cookie dough, mochi, and cheesecake. The cookie dough was a little dry and the cheesecake had a chewy texture to it as if they included more gelatin when making the batch. The mochi and chocolate pretzels were good. I like that for ~$1-2 of adding toppings, you can choose to add four toppings. Also the fruit toppings that my friends got looked really fresh. Also, the seating inside was clean and not too dirty and it wasn't crowded at all. Due to the texture and flavor of the froyo and the quality of the toppings, I wouldn't pick this as my top froyo place. Additionally, there weren't many flavors to choose from. read more

I am surprised this place does not have more reviews yet, I was here for the soft opening a week and a half ago. It was a good time to stop by 93rd and Broadway, got some small cup that night of Chocolate Hazelnut and Grapefruit (so good). Got some awesome topping like toasted almonds, Capn Crunch, kiwi, strawberries, chocolate syrup (it was not actually hot fudge though) and waffle cookie or whatever that was. Also everyone who was there waiting on the really long line got a free small cup coupon for a future visit. -The staff was beyond excellent, everyone had alot of energy and did a good job dealing with tons of people in the first outing that night. This location is great! I was helped by Shanai and she was such a great assistance! I went in to get my free small birthday froyo, not only did she help me look up my card info, but she also informed me that I could upgrade the small to a medium for $1 (I recommend doing this!). The one thing to know about Pinkberry is that it's not self serve. They have to do everything for you, but every time I've gone, the staff were always ready to create the froyo cup just as I wanted it. Definitely try this location out! I love this place. The service is great and the frozen yogurt is flawless. My favorite flavor are tarty ones so I'm hard to please, however, their original, pomegranate, passion fruit and blood orange are to die for. This isn't just a review of this location, but a review of the newly revamped Pinkberry menu. Y'all have chocolate banana frozen yogurt milkshakes now! Are you TRYING to make me fat? What's great about this new location is the layout. I hate the Pinkberry locations where you order the yogurt first, pay, get toppings, then are told you can't get that delicious luxurious chocolate sauce because it's 50 cents extra. I ain't going back to pay! (Fine. I'll get boring, healthy fruit included in the price instead. Psssh...) Instead, you walk up to the toppings area first, place your order, get the toppings you want, THEN pay at the register. Finally! A sensible concept. Adam pointed out a lack of certain available "junk food" toppings, but I didn't notice, since I usually AM good and go for just fruits anyways. Their new menu options are great! I've been saying for years that Pinkberry should be opened for breakfast, because frozen yogurt fruit parfaits are totally an acceptable breakfast item. (Well, in my mind...) Lo and behold, this location is open at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and toting their new greek yogurt with both sweet and savory toppings. (Think grape tomatoes and olive oil.) In addition, as mentioned above, there are a line of milkshakes, and chocolate banana is one of my all-time favorite flavor combinations. Their chocolate is perfectly cocoa-y with a great depth to it without being overly rich. They also have frozen yogurt cones to complete their new revamp. They're upping the ante in a very agreeable way. This is a great little spot off of Broadway and 94th. What a Staff as well! Came in with my son, and daughter to end our day. My daughter as type 1 diabetes and with that carb counting is a must. I'm concerned about how there is a lack of care for the employees that have had to work in horrible conditions of this store being extremely hot. The AC went out last weekend and it's literally a furnace when you walk inside. I asked the manager (who was so nice) how he could function with it being so hot inside and he said they were waiting for "corporate" to approve someone to come out and fix the AC. His staff wasn't happy and they said they were miserable and that customers would walk in and walk out after hitting the blast of heat as you entered the store. Corporate listen up! Not only is this unacceptable. You are pushing away customers that are looking to cool off with your product and why you don't act immediately on this situation makes me scratch my head. When you do have air conditioning working, the place is packed. It's New York City!!! Get an AC company in immediately or one you already have a relationship with and fix it now!!! Going on one week with no AC and with the heat index today, it will be 105. There's absolutely no excuse for this and please start caring about the welfare of your great staff and customers that frequent your establishment. Its so difficult to choose between flavors but that's one of the big decisions! I recommend the chocolate or peanut butter (when they have that). I went last night around 9:50 p.m. after a long day of work. I wanted to treat myself. My big surprise and disappointment was when I arrive to the store and one of the girls ask me what I wanted I told her the flavor and when I asked to put the mochi topping on my yogurt she refused she said the section where the mochi was it was closed, even though it was in front of her. I asked her please and she said "this is all we have at the store until the next week and I don't want to finish it". I told her that mochi was the only thing I wanted and she make sounds and faces about my request. I walked out of the store. Iam so upset about the service of this person. I know the company is huge but that's why the management should keep an eye on their staff and to try to keep the customers happy. Iam a very loyal and long time customer of pinkberry and Iam this experience make me realize when a company gets bigger and bigger everyday and popular it's hard to keep the same standards that they have when they started.
