Let me start with this. Movers were nice guys, showed up when they were supposed to show up. They were cordial and respectful. Now on the other hand, 3 Pink movers moved my 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 740 sq ft apt, 4th floor with elevator from Chandler to N. Scottsdale apt, 4th floor elevator for $1,000. Yes, you heard me! 1 grand! 1 couch by stairs. I will attach pics of the items moved. The commute from Chandler and off the 101 and Chandler blvd to N Scottsdale Frank Lloyd Wright took them 45 mins mid morning no traffic. I drove the speed limit and got there in 20 mins. I asked if they needed to follow me, driver said no go ahead. I'm going to take it slow, but we will be right behind you. Then driver called me when they arrived asking if my unit was 4141. As they were looking for the wrong unit when arrived. Documented incorrectly by the operator who did my quote. The start time was actually 8:40 but documented as 8:30. I called my daughter in the hallway at 8:24 to let her know the movers arrived. This was before they entered my place. They couldn't have started at 8:30. And because they "finished" at 12:36, I was charged an extra $93 for 6 mins of "extra work". Now one guy put my entire bed back together, instead of moving things. Did I ask for that no. Did I appreciate that yes, did I think it would cost me $93 extra dollars because my move was 6 mins longer? He also spent most of his time wrapping things that were not necessary. Even if I said don't do it, it was done. Then I paid for shrink wrap. Then the lady who quoted me said they preferred Zelle. But didn't mention that they only take Zelle from certain banks. Therefore, I paid by credit card with a 5% credit card fee. I typically rent a truck and hire moving help from Uhaul app. I'll go back to that. Shrink wrapping fees, tape fees... I have moved so many times, I have it pretty well organized when movers arrive. Lots of storages bins stacked and ready to go. I will never do this again, thanks for the lesson learned. Again movers were nice but should that have been a 2+ hour pick up and 1 1/2 hr drop for 3 people? Finally the initial call from the movers this morning made me nervous. I was asked if anyone would be with me to help me move my personal things. What??? I'm a woman alone hiring help to move. That question made feel unsafe and as if someone wanted to know if anyone would be around to help keep tabs on the move progress. One person can't be in the apt and at the truck to ensure work is done the entire time. Thanks Pink, I'll take Uhaul and moving help for $400 Alex! Here are pictures of how things were packed. Except the bed. It was not assembled when they showed up at my place to move. IN RESPONSE TO LINDA: Several times here I said they guys were nice and did a great job. Great job, didn't break anything, Great job, didn't show up hung over. Conveniently you are ignoring the points I made here, slow drive to Scottsdale, slow move and ridiculously expensive move for what I had. Delay by not calling me on arrival about a wrong apt # on paperwork. Delayed by 6 mins cost $93. One guy in the apt the entire time wrapping, setting up my bedroom not moving things turned into a $1000 move. Say what you want I meant what I said and will never recommend this service. $1000 is ridiculous for what I have to move from Chandler to Scottsdale! Both locations right off the highway. To any customer, make sure you are more than one person if you're moving. One to watch inside and out. 2 1/2 hours to load the items pictured is crazy. read more

We used Pinks moving in Dec, it was a horrible experience, we were scammed. We had to hire second movers to come in and move the furniture and boxes they just left in the garage stacked to the ceiling. 90% of my items were packed and either in the living room or in the garage. They said they would need to make two trips because the truck would be too full. I offered to rent a uhaul and drive it if they needed extra space, that way it would just be one trip. They said they could not do that because they needed a lift. They never used a lift. They said they get a 30 min lunch, which is fine, but took an hour and a half lunch. I know because my neighbor sent a text when they left our new house, and I got a text from them when lunch was over. At that point I said something, because it was getting ridiculous, and we were going on 8 hours, I was quoted 3 hours for the number of movers and size of the house (1 story). After I told them we needed to just get things wrapped up they stood in the back of the truck talking about me and calling me a bitch. I drove over to the new house after they were finished to find damage to my walls, and most of the furniture in the living room or garage, even though the boxes were labeled. It has been a scavenger hunt. We had moved two years prior from a 2 story house double the size of the one we were leaving and it took the previous movers 4 hours (with less movers). As I have unpacked I found that they took boxes and, for example, put one stuffed dog toy inside. That would explain how the truck got so full so fast. I called and texted Linda multiple times and never heard back. I don't know how they have any 5 star reviews, because my experience was a nightmare. read more

I moved from Montana to Glendale and knew that we wouldn't have the energy to unload the truck after 30 hours on the road. We didn't have a lot of furniture, so I felt like a pair of movers could probably get the job done in 2 hours. I went with Pink's because they were responsive, helpful, with an affordable rate and only a 2 hour minimum (many others required 3hr). My husband and I had a very good experience with Pink's. Linda in the office is a pleasure to deal with...she called me back promptly everytime I left her a message, and she was patient, kind, and worked closely with me when I had questions and/or needed to make changes. Moving day arrives...3 guys and their cute pink truck. They were on time, 2 of them worked hard, but the 3rd guy was a slacker, and we were stressed. When my husband told the foreman that this is going too slowly & one guy was slacking, the foreman called Pink's office, and a manager showed up to work and lit a fire under the slacker, so we had 4 guys moving us, and they didn't charge us for the extra manpower. (They shouldn't have anyway, but we appreciated their quick solution). After the manager arrived, things went faster, much smoother and we were more at ease. There was some damage (not major) to my husband's office furniture, and Linda worked with him to have someone come out and fix this. Junior, who is their repair manager, and another guy arrived...they were on time, friendly, and fixed the damage. A few days later, imagine our surprise when we received a check in the mail for a small, fair amount as their way to apologize for the damage, and inconvenience. Wow. Now THAT'S great service! When the time came for us to move after 12 years of being in the same home, we knew we were going to need some help. After doing our due diligence comparing many other moving companies, we found Pink's and we're so glad we did. The entire process, from scheduling, to arrival, to execution, went flawlessly. They contacted us prior to arrival to ensure timeliness, arrived early and after a briefly discussing the needs and design of the move, immediately set to work. Moving 12 years worth of accumulated furniture and boxes from one two-story home into another is no easy task, but the four man crew from Pink's not only handled our items with care and precision, they did so in an incredibly timely manner. Moving our items into the new home was executed equally flawlessly, with the crew coordinating item placement and position with us each step of the way. The entire process ended up taking far less time than we had originally anticipated, allowing us to get to the process of unpacking quickly. Best of all, their rates were extremely reasonable and their efforts were well worth every penny and then some. I rarely give 5-star reviews because I feel that 5 stars means perfect, and there are not that many perfect things in this world of ours. So maybe this should be a 4.5-star review instead, LOL! I am using Pink's to move from our present home to our brand-new home in Gilbert. I am moving in 3 stages since I feel that this will make the frustration and work associated with moving easier for us. I have moved 8 times in my life and have enough experience to know what needs to be done and how to do it. Also, Pink's pricing also allows for a 3 stage move since they charge by the hour for as many movers that you want to use on any given day. Stage one: We used two guys and moved all the stuff to the storage unit that we wanted to keep, but not take to the new home. This move went smoothly, and the guys were great! Stage two: We moved all the stuff to the new home that we did not need to continue to live in this present home until it was sold. This move involved a lot of furniture and other stuff, but no living room stuff and no kitchen stuff. We used 3 guys for this move, and they again did a good job and were fast, efficient, and courteous. Incidentally, the same lead guy came both times (Nate) and he was great! The third move will be in about a month, and I hope Nate and his crew are assigned to us again. I should mention that this move, although a short one relative to distance, was the move with no damage whatsoever to our goods. They wrap everything and pack everything very nicely and professionally. And they will also disassemble and reassemble your furniture and your beds as well. Linda, in the office, is also a joy to work with too. She is efficient and courteous and very responsive to telephone calls and email messages. I believe the customer interface skills tell you a lot about a company and those with low skill level in this area might tell you that maybe their other areas might be low skill as well. Only one teeny criticism -- both moves were scheduled to start 8 am in the morning. But this start time is unrealistic since the guys start work at 8 am the by the time they got to me, it was approximately 9 am. This was not problematic at all, but I do think that they should not schedule 8 am arrival times when the guys only start work at that time. By far the best moving company I have ever hired, and in the past few years we have moved a lot. Once they started they never stopped moving. I don't want to refer to hours because every job is different but they moved 2 apartments (including garages) into a house which was 2 stories in the same amount of time that previous movers took to move my stuff out of storage and into 1 of the apartments. They also have no trip fee, no admin fee, gas fee...what you see is what you get! $99 per hour for a 2 man crew and a beautiful 26ft truck!
