    Vegetable salad

Didn't love it at all. Wanted to but didn't. Owner was at the bar when I ate there and didn't exude a vibe where I wanted to linger and order more. In fact, it was so uncomfortable I ate fast and left. It's a gorgeous setting on the water and a wonderful remodel and I wish them well. Not sure if return though. Kitchen closes between lunch and dinner but they do have a bar bites menu between 4-6. Had the vegetable salad to make a healthy choice but it was drenched in dressing which detracted from any health benefits and I definitely wouldn't order it again.

We stopped in for dinner and truly enjoyed our time and meal. We were a bit early for dinner service so we had drinks at their outside bar and the bartender was really nice and helpful. For dinner we ate at the upstairs patio with a great view of the water. For starters we had the bread service which was excellent. The warm bread was served with an avocado butter which was so good. For our entrees I had the prime cut of steak which was cooked perfectly and served over carrots and a truffle purée of potatoes. It was absolutely delicious!! My girlfriend chose to have the Foie gras and she really enjoyed it. The service was excellent. The team constantly checked in making our dining experience perfect.

I brought my friend here for her birthday & it was very good. I love the ambiance, it's a great spot for a date or special occasion. To start, we had drinks & a caesar salad. Both were good. I had a chicken dish for my entree which was quite tasty & she had the steak which she also seemed to enjoy.

Valet parking. A beautiful view of the Saugatuck bridge. Downstairs is a very welcoming bar that looked like a good time. We sat upstairs overlooking the bridge and River. This is a well appointed restaurant. The prices are high but the service and food are excellent. We started with a pull apart bread and a tuna app. Both were outstanding. For meals we had scallops, a crab cake with Caesar salad, angliotti pasta and I had the haddock. All were delicious. Our server was very attentive throughout. It is a loud atmosphere so take that into consideration. A nice new addition to river dining.

Great food and drinks. We had the crab cake, chilled shellfish, cod, and halibut. The dirty martinis were good too. Definitely coming back.

The outdoor bar is superb. They did a great job with it and happy there's another outdoor option with view toward water. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Had a burger the other day and it was excellent along with side salad. The place is comfortable. Excellent seats. A bit noisy. O

    Mezze plate

In town visiting family and went tonight for the first time and had some trepidation because of some of the reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered Caesar salad which had an outstanding presentation and was very, very good. The Branzino was one of the best I have had and seemed to be very lightly pan fried with a thin crispy coating and very delicate and delicious fish. Excellent quality and presentation. Also ordered the Mezze plate and bread. All shared and enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive.

Pleasant setting, but limited selection of so-so appetizers and iffy service. Not a favorite place for us.

We had to ask for a bigger table and was led towards the end. Very interesting menu, we had the pu'er tea, which is not very commonly offered in the Chinese restaurants in the area. Love the teapot presentation and overall the branding effort. We tried to order the soup dumpling but was told something wasn't working properly and it's going to take over an hour so next time. Got wontons in chili oil, love the flavor. The mushu pork, a little bit too sweet for me. And the beef chow fun, just can't go wrong with that, and the szichuan pot with cumin lamp. I think this more authentic Chinese but my husband felt the lamb was too oily. I requested to get the little cute cat cup for my daughter's lemonade order and they said yes, so it was a very cute touch. Very happy with the visit definitely a lot of potential we will be back.

We started off with the chili oil dumplings which were super flavorful! For entrees we got the Mongolian beef and the shrimp fried rice. Fried rice was my favorite -- didn't need any soy sauce or duck sauce bc it had enough flavor on its own. For drinks I got the lychee drink which was on the sweeter side for my personal taste. Overall, loved my experience and can't wait to go back to try more menu items.

Ive been there for dinner time as well, it's lively, loud in a good way, and immediately feels like somewhere you could stay for hours. I ordered the miso ramen, and it was honestly one of the most satisfying bowls of ramen I've had in Connecticut. The broth was the star of the dish its deep, rich, savory, and layered with that perfect balance of umami and subtle sweetness from the miso and a bit nitty form the sesame seeds. The noodles had the perfect texture: chewy, springy, and able to hold onto the broth beautifully. Nothing was overcooked or mushy . What impressed me most was how balanced the ramen was. Some ramen spots go overboard with salt or spice, but this bowl felt refined. Rich but not greasy. Flavorful but not overpowering. You could tell there was actual technique behind it. The portion size was also generous enough to leave completely full without feeling uncomfortable afterward. The service matched the food perfectly and so freaking sweet. I have trying to rec this all my coworkers

Although a few large parties were happening, it felt comfortably busy without being loud. Parking was easy with their lot. The décor is elegant, and the beautifully lit bottle display behind the bar really stands out. We sat in the main dining room and could easily hold a conversation. We started with the grilled polpo and ahi tuna tartare -- both excellent. I ordered the T-bone medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The table also had filet mignon, mezzi rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp, and pappardelle bolognese. Sides of Brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic-honey glaze and baked spinach au gratin complemented everything nicely. The chocolate soufflé was a sweet finish. Portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. Bathrooms were very clean, though the entryway floor was a bit slippery. Overall, I'd absolutely return and recommend it for a special night out.

It's perfect for a date night in the garden room or bar, a family dinner in the main dining room, or celebrating a special occasion. We ordered the tomahawk steak, seafood tower, and a salad, and every dish was terrific--well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. To end the night, we couldn't decide between the Napoleon or the carrot cake, and our server (I wish I remembered his name!) surprised us by bringing the Napoleon on the house, mentioning that it's award-winning. He also moved us from a smaller table to a beautiful booth toward the end of the meal because he wanted to make sure our first visit ended with the right ambiance. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture that really elevated the experience. We'll absolutely be back.
