Lunch sweet and sour with tofu, soup, rice, and spring rolls.

I hadn't been in town for awhile, and had a craving for Thai. So glad I did! I got the lunch special sweet and sour with tofu, soup, rice, and spring rolls. I brought most of the entree home after filling up on the other items, but I left there full and satisfied. The robot was fun! Lots of staff and great service, too.

Delicious appetizers and entrees with the family! Service was friendly and exciting with a touch of friendly and warm environment to enjoy with a nice meal with our family. The exciting service was seeing the little robot bring your plates to the table making it a nice touch for those gathered to discuss. We had the fried vegetable dumplings, Kung Pao Gyoza with the drunken chicken noodles. Next time definitely getting the Thai hot as this was listed as hot but didn't come close. But always recommend to start on the safe side than going in a blazing and not being able to enjoy A definitely must and return to on the list, when in Culpepper, VA.

Let me start by saying I love Thai food and think of myself as a sort of connoisseur of the food type. I had wanted to try this place for awhile. We finally got out to Culpeper and I was not disappointed. Holiday decorations were up and the place was so cute and festive. The bumble even greeted us the door!! Food was prepared well and promptly delivered by a little robot. So fun! Is it the best Thai food I've ever had?! No. But it was very delicious and everything was freshly made to order. I would highly recommend trying this place out if you are in the area, even if for the ambiance alone.

Heard so many things about this place so we decided to make an hour trip out to finally try it. It's in a very cute historic area of Culpeper. We arrived and were warmly welcomed and seated. The menu itself is massive. It felt like a JcPenny Christmas catalog. Probably too many options, but I liked the variety. The food was very good but I will say the servers weren't very attentive after we made our initial order. I had to wait and make a hand gesture to get them to come over so I could order a second drink. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and when it arrived, there was literally NO alcohol in it. Luckily I was able to walk to the bar and they fixed it. Maybe they thought I wanted a virgin? Overall, a solid little spot that we enjoyed and would probably return to if we were in the area. An extra star for the hilarious artwork in above the men's urinals.

Such a fun place! I got the pad see ew and it was delicious! A "robot" brings your dishes to you. It doesn't replace a human server but it's cute. The decorations are really colorful and most the staff are Thai, which leans an air of authenticity.

The quaint, delicious little Thai restaurant I never expected to find in Culpeper VA... The coconut soup was so full of flavour, umami, sour, creamy, and full of ingredients. Pad see ew was a little salty for my taste, but full of flavour and ingredients as well. Service was prompt and friendly, and the collection of ?tiffens? made for interesting decor!

The food is outstanding, service extraordinary, ambiance friendly for family and couples! They have a great caring, personal owner and staff! Makes you feel comfortable, in the town of Culpeper.

Ahhh Pinto Thai one of those places you just know will always be good and consistent every single time. I've been eating here for the past 5 years now if that says anything. The service is definitely consistent as well, it's not over the top but I've never had a bad experience. The ambiance feels warm and cozy inside, the booths make it feel easy to enjoy your meal. I will say the prices have definitely gone up over the years, but honestly... I haven't stopped going and don't plan to anytime soon. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, and the menu continuously grows. If you're looking for a reliable go-to spot with great flavors and consistency, Pinto Thai will always have my heart.

Outstanding meal at Pinto Thai Culpeper. Staff seemed kind of bored, it's pricey, but meal was excellent and well worth it.

We visited for lunch on a recent Thursday in October. The restaurant was busy, but we had no trouble getting a table right away. The menu is extensive with many pages of entrees, apps, noodle dishes, curry dishes, veg dishes, meat/poultry/fish/shrimp dishes, desserts, and drinks. Seating is available outside, too. The service was attentive and excellent. We opted for a noodle dish, a Thai fried rice dish, and a curry dish, all from the lunch menu. The curry dish was my favorite. The fried rice dish was good, but the chicken was a bit dry and was not too flavorful. The noodle dish was a bit lacking in broccoli. The included apps were great - a tasty chicken skewer, a nice spring roll, a wonderful wonton soup, and a crisp salad. Overall, a nice experience.

I'm sad I don't live closer, but lemme tell you it was worth the 1hr 40min drive!!! I visited with my cousin who recommended this cute little town and the Thai place with robots. Call me intrigued! And boy did it live up to the expectation!! My cousin told me it would be worth it to order an entree for here and one to go. Great call. SoI tried the Pas Se ew with chicken in house, then Pad Thai to go. I always love to start with the staples to gauge the place. Now I'm happy to veer off and try their other options! My cousin got two orders of the papaya salad because she said it was as good as when she was in Thailand and this was the first place she found that did it right. So needless to say, I'll be back. Not only is it a fantastic food spot, but it's nestled in an adorable town! So you can walk off your yummy lunch or dinner up and down the street visiting the boutique shops.

Best place in the country to get terrible food and pay gourmet prices. The pictures in the menu look nothing like the slop they served us.

Atmosphere was kind of like cross between a bbq joint and a family restaurant. My wife got pulled pork dinner and I got the sliced brisket. Both were delicious, however the brisket was the best I have had in some time. Very moist and flavorful with just the right amount of bark on the edges. Only one bbq sauce provided but it was tasty. Sides were good as well, but the fried potatoes with onions were the best IMO. One thing we found odd is that they don't allow substitutions of the sides for a salad. Or substitution of a specific side designated with an entree. Not sure what that's about, so taking off one star for that. Otherwise a great little find and we will be back.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. For our meal, we ordered the pulled pork sandwich with collard greens and the BBQ chicken fajitas. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. Both dishes had a much heavier sauce-to-meat ratio than we prefer, which overpowered the barbecue flavor instead of complementing it. We had read so many great reviews beforehand, so we were hoping for a standout BBQ experience, but it just didn't hit the mark for us. That said, we truly enjoyed the hospitality and atmosphere, and we can see why it's a favorite stop for many. While the food wasn't our personal favorite, the welcoming service and cozy setting made for a pleasant visit.

As a commuter through the state of Virginia, I easily could have stopped at one of innumerable NOVA…read morerestaurants, or in Charlottesville, but I determined that this place in relatively rural Culpepper was worth a shot. The owners have a separate Thai restaurant downtown; this noodle-focused pan-Asian place is newer. I tried to manage expectations, but was impressed in every respect. The brick corner building has received an interesting buildout and Bose speakers trumpet mood music. The menu is broad and includes some vegan options. I ordered some dumplings, which I wouldn't have done if I'd known how huge the entree would be, but the dumplings were excellently presented with vegetable garnish and I ate them quickly. They offer a series of tropical fruit drinks, and I got one with longan, which is a little like lychee; the beverage came in its own bottle and had several whole longan fruits in it and was sweet and strongly flavored. Despite the strong start, I still expected less from my ramen that what I ultimately got. Even a good premium ramen bowl rarely has the beautiful array of vegetable toppings I got here, including pickled ginger, kimchi, mushrooms, corn, and bok choy. Ample tofu was provided for protein and the noodles were of a green kale-infused variety. I was offered dried pepper for seasoning and a spice tray if I needed it, but the thought barely occurred to me. It was an enormous bowl and I ended up taking some of it to go. I was easily going to give them the five stars even before they offered me a complimentary dessert that was a little bit like a sticky mochi. The one thing I'd ask is that they label the menu a bit more clearly as I got the sense that a lot of the general Thai dishes could be vegan but it wasn't as clear as I would have liked it to be. But the quality and variety of flavors was as good as I could possibly ask for.
