Khao soi gai (Thai lanna noodle)

The food is incredible and we love their attention to detail with experience (whether that be season decor, specials and gifts, the dishes used or quality of paper products). Service is wonderful. On the other hand, we wish the price point was a little lower, with most entrees running $25 and very few under $20 options. Grateful they have a kids menu!

Absolutely fantastic dinner. Had a little date night with my wife tonight, and it was wonderful. The prices are steep, but it's definitely worth it in my opinion.

This restaurant has spectacular food. Most restaurants when you see pictures of the food the real thing is a let down. Not here, the food is elevated to look as beautiful as art. It tastes even better than it looks. I've eaten there several times and tried several of their dishes from different cultures and not only do they absolutely nail the cuisine of that culture the food is incredible. So many options it will make your head spin, but you can always find something to suit your taste. My favorite is the traditional Thai dish Khao Soi Gai (Thai lanna noodles) is incredible. The broth is, slightly sweet, rich, savory and a little warm with spice like a warm hug. The dark meat chicken is just tender enough to come apart with ease. The noodles are wonderful, some are crispy noodles and can be added to the rich broth and add a crunch or some different textures. Served with a variety of condiments its out of this world. Every time I eat their Khao Soi Gai I come away with a mild sence of euphoria. The service is on point. They are always there when you need them but don't hover over you. The entire staff is courteous, gracious, and incredibly welcoming. The decor is something else, its full of rich decorations and details that you can tell a great deal of effort went into it without it being too much. Overall one of my favorite restaurants. Definitely worth a trip to Culpeper just to eat there. There is parking on the street and two parking lots less than 3 minutes walk from the restaurant. Don't past this opportunity up. I know I sound like an ad but I swear I'm not. I'm just an enthusiastic patron of a new favorite restaurant in my home town. Come check it out you won't regret it.

We love this great restaurant! Authentic, flavorful, high quality ingredients, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. Lots of great vegetarian options! I especially love the vegetarian ramen. Extremely clean, which is super important to me. We will continue to support this new local gem!

Upon entering we were hit with what smelled like marijuana and we learned when leaving that there is a hookah lounge beneath this restaurant (extremely unfortunate!) The place has been renovated since the Thai restaurant was here and it was nice and bright and clean looking. There was only another party of 4 there when we entered and then another couple came in after us but it was very empty. We were greeted by a gentleman who brought waters for us and then took our orders. I ordered the Voldemort sandwich and my husband ordered the Potter wrap as well as the BlackBerry lemonade. Both sandwiches came with fries. The sandwiches were good but my husbands wrap was very small and mine was light on meat. The fries were nice and crispy and the blackberry lemonade was delicious. There was light rock music playing softly, ambiance was nice. All in all a good experience aside from the smell which was giving my husband a headache. I would probably return for dinner one night. I was trying to decide between giving this place 3 and 4 stars and opted on 4 because it's new (they have food trucks but the brick and mortar is new) and they're still getting things right and the fact that we came for lunch instead of dinner so the menu was very limited and I felt like maybe I wasn't getting the full experience.

They brought us amuse bouche of beet hummus and pita bread (on the house), and we then had the "beef sashimi" as an appetizer. I'm not usually into super rare beef, but this was outstanding. The beef melted in my mouth and the sauce and greens complimented it well. For the main course, I got the pork ribs, which may be the best I've had in my life. They came with a tangy barbecue sauce on the side, which was delicious but not really necessary given the flavor of the pork. Plenty of food, high quality, and good service! If they just tweaked the lighting and added some homey touches, they would have a line out the door. As it was, we were the only guests on a Friday evening. A shame since Culpeper has very few excellent restaurants, and the ones that exist are generally overpriced. We will definitely be coming back again!

It came with a hot marinara sauce. It was delicious. My mother ordered broiled flounder with baked potatoes and salad. I ordered make my own 3 items which included fried Soft shell crab, fired scallops and crab cake with sides of baked potatoes and onion rings. All dishes came with hush puppies. My sister had fried oysters. They said the broiled flounder had no taste. I liked all my dishes though the crab cake was saltier for me than I normally like. They give you all sorts of sauce and special butter for the baked sweet potatoes. The waitress was really nice and came back and refilled my soda a lot. It's an old restaurant and the ambience is lots of people come here for seafood. Considering it's not close to any sea, it's pretty good. I forgot to take photos to share. When we left around 6:30 the parking lot was full and people were waiting for tables.

We had the fish tacos, lobster tails, the build your own 3 item meal ( crab legs, steamed shrimp and crab cake) this combo was amazing. The crab meat unlike any other I've had before. We had to drop off some items in the area and wanted to get dinner before heading back, so we looked over the menu and reviews. It seemed like it would be perfect for seafood lovers, and we were able to snag one of the last tables available. From the time we walked in, the service was amazing. The staff made great recommendations, checked on us frequently without being intrusive, and made sure we were enjoying our first experience there. Even the other customers were super friendly and told us they had been coming back for years for the great food and service. We both loved our meals. The breading on my fish was really crispy (a recommendation from the server), and the hush puppies were delicious. The portions were very generous, and I really enjoyed my leftovers the next day! The decor there is also super cute. They have several old soda machines outside and adorable crab-themed items inside and outside. Even though it's a bit of a drive, we both agreed that it will be well worth another trip in the future!
