    Antipasto board (charcuterie)

Stopped by Grass Rootes on a Friday afternoon and everything we had was really great! We started with the antipasto board to share which was a great blend of cheeses and a couple meats. The pickled(?) carrots were a great touch! I had a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup of the day along with the Caesar salad. I loved the salad's bread crumbs. I'm pretty sure they were made from rosemary bread, and that crunch was amazing! My mom got the Reuben special and said it was delicious, too. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for a great lunch around town. Can't wait to go back for dinner soon.

We are from out of town. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Building used to be a jail in the old days. Very cool. Must try.

After a long day of window shopping in Culpeper, I was starving and decided to try this place--and wow, what an incredible experience! Even though I was dining alone, the staff made me feel completely at ease. They were so attentive, checking in just enough to ensure I had everything I needed without interrupting my quiet time. Every time I ran out of bread, they had more ready within minutes--it was like they were reading my mind! And the food? Absolutely amazing. The mushroom ravioli with shrimp was out of this world--every bite was truly delicious. I live over an hour away, but I'm already debating when to make the drive again. This place is truly a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area (or even outside the area--it's worth the trip!).

Steak Caesar salad - the steak is always cooked so well and the dressing is one of my favorites.

This has become one of our favorite hang out spots for dinner and a drink. Lunch or dinner time, it doesn't matter, the service and space is always amazing. From the vibe inside to the music (once the musician played a the Jurassic Park theme on the piano and I just knew it was the place for me), we enjoy our time at this restaurant. Servers and the chef are always willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. For example, the shrimp mushroom ravioli dish was always a favorite, but I developed a shrimp allergy. They're willing to swap the shrimp out for other proteins so I can still enjoy the dish. Some other highlights are the tuna wonton nachos, fried carbonara spaghetti, steak Caesar salad (generous flavorful portion), and the fig and prosciutto flatbread. Check out their Facebook for specials each weekend, they are worth the visit!

My first thought is WOW! Service was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. Our drinks stayed filled and we truly felt cared for. The food was great as well. Stopped in for Sunday brunch and ordered the Biscuits & Gravy, Sunrise Burger, and a Western Omelet. Loved the vibes and loved the food!

We had a 7pm reservation, got there early and they were able to accommodate us. We had a service dog and they were very accommodating with him as well and didn't give us problems like many places do. The ambiance is great, cute horseshoe shaped booths, as well as bench seating with pillows, brick walls, just a great vibe. Loved the Anthony Bourdain quote as soon as you walk in. Server was very friendly and informative with specials. We got the shrimp ravioli, the whipped feta with honey and pistachios, the rib eye steak and two cocktails. The food was Delicious especially that whipped feta! Great menu options. We were too full for dessert unfortunately because the dessert options were great as well. I highly recommend!

I went here with my fiancé and his family for the Mother's Day weekend, we were visiting from out of town. Being Mother's Day and prom night, it was quite busy. We made a reservation for 6 people, and we were seated fairly quickly and on time. The staff were friendly. It was a little loud, so it was hard to hear from the other side of the table. Although it was loud, they had live acoustic guitar music which was super nice and fit the theme. The doors are straight open to the kitchen, so I could see inside from my table. It was a bit distracting hearing their music playing from a speaker for the kitchen and the hustle of the cooking. The restaurant is dark, maybe a little too dark. The kitchen was bright, so it stood out even more because of the lighting. The food was okay. It was tasty, but I just didn't feel wowed by the flavor. We got the tuna poke bowl, vegetarian pasta, chicken pasta, surf and turf, pork chop, and spaghetti. The tastiest meal by far was the spaghetti. The meatballs were HUGE. The surf and turf had good sauces, and I specifically enjoyed the buttery jumbo shrimp. I was personally not a fan of the vegetable pasta, as it had not carb noodles. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, but I felt it could have been a little nicer to match the vibe they were shooting for. I also feel the prices were high for what you got.

Lots of places to eat have good reviews but are empty. Then we get to F132 and every table is full and there's a line waiting! We had no reservation and got seated at the bar area in 5 min. Staff were all perfect. Oysters, wedge salad, (2) filet with 2 sides, and 3 drinks, and peanut butter pie dessert. $200 + $40 tip. Crystal commented twice how excellent the steak was, and we eat steaks in a lot of places. Highly recommend!

Upon entering, I informed the hostess that I had a reservation, and I was then escorted to my table. Shortly thereafter, Trevor came over to introduce himself. I advised him that Merlot is my preferred wine, and he graciously showed me the available Merlot selections. I chose a half-bottle of Duckhorn. For my meal, Trevor recommended the steak and the soup. Both were delicious. The soup was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were clearly homemade, which was a nice touch. My only disappointment was that the steak was heavily charred--almost blackened. I was also surprised that the entrée was not accompanied by a vegetable. Despite those minor shortcomings, the meal was delicious, and Trevor provided excellent service throughout the evening. In fact, I suspect that because of the overly charred steak, the restaurant generously comped my coffee, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Overall, this was a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and Trevor's knowledge and attentiveness contributed significantly to my positive experience.

It was a chilly day and we followed the instructions to ring the bell when we were outside. Shout out to the folks here who provide the cute cat with a heated blanket to lay on during cold weather. Members of the staff quickly came by to let us in and we walked into a empty sitting area. To be fair, it was around 3:00pm on a Wednesday. The vibe inside is eclectic, homey, and comfortable. We grabbed a seat at a table near the fire. We had time to review menu. I picked a classic Whiskey Sour and my Mom got one of their warm whiskey cocktails. Both of us really enjoyed ours. We sipped and savored them and just enjoyed a bit of a respite from our road trip. We both got a bottle of their whiskey to take home with us. These aren't your standard whiskeys and they are definitely more expensive than what you'd probably get in the liquor store. We've been enjoying our purchases at home since our visit. Copper Fox is a nice stop and I'd recommend it to folks wanting a break and a beverage.

The best drink in the tasting was their 8 yoa bourbon, very smooth and a little sweet, great for sipping or mixing. The vodka also tasted good in drinks. This was one of the best distillery I have tried. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. The building is absolutely beautiful inside and if it's nice outside, the scenery behind the distillery is amazing with a creek running right past the back porch. The do offer charcuterie and other snacks to eat here when there are no food trucks. You are also allowed to bring your own food, which is what we did.. I can't wait to go here again when I come back next year.
