Mini-history lesson aside, I really like Pints & Quarts, a local pub situated in the center of Lacey's main busy intersections. Parking is somewhat limited outside of their small-ish lot, but you'll figure something out. Happy Hour was jumpin' when I stopped in, mostly due to the Seahawks playing a pre-season game on all of their television screens. I breezed through the menu and decided on their Trixie Ass Kickers, aka hot wings, which had a nice kick to them. The beer selection here is impressive and even stylish, with numerous beer taps mounted on and around three central fire hydrants. After such a good experience, I was disappointed I never stopped in when I lived here ten years ago. Better late than never I suppose. read more

Stinky like stale beer in a dirty Tavern (which it is) Food was on the poor quality side of average, and not worth the price, even if the quality was acceptable. $44 out the door for a beer, a cider a sandwich and a burger. There was a lively crowd, I assume they were there for the beer. Service was attentive, courteous and professional, but I wouldn't go back as we are developing many choices in the Olympia area which I'm thrilled to see. read more

This is a local place for us but we only visit a couple times a year. The location is convenient to local shops and the mall so we often stop if shopping goes a bit longer than expected and ...... oops..... nothing for dinner planned. The food is always pretty good, but nothing I would crave. Service can be hit and miss... sometimes on the slow side. They have a full bar and it can get crowded at happy hour time. Overall it is a place that I wouldn't hesitate to go again.... but it isn't on my favorites list. Not bad.... but not great. read more

Pints and Quarts was a place where I heard a production only brewery had on their beer here. That brewery was called Xela Brewing which was located farther south. I was a bit concerned that this brewery no longer existed since their Facebook postings were from about three years ago. Usually that does mean a business is no longer around but it could also mean that someone at businesses like this may have simply forgotten that they had a Facebook page to post updates on. When shift in staff occurs sometimes media outlets that were used in the past don't get communicated over to the new staff. I have seen that happen too. But it appears the first possibility was what applied. The brewery no longer existed and no one seemed to know about the brand of beer that they once had on tap here. I wasn't going to leave without a beer though so I got a standby favorite of mine and got a Mac and Jack's Amber which I always love! They have plenty of other beers on tap as well and a full bar so you have plenty of drinking choices. They also serve food as well but I did not get anything to eat since I already had a pretty big lunch. Nice, mellow pub and bar. read more

BEST WINGS IN TOWN. Jamaican Jerk wings are dopeee. Also, the bartenders are very nice! Just make sure you know what you want. This is an Olympia dive bar. Although they can make fun drinks they definitely will not decide for you. This is our favorite after work late night pit stop! Food closes at midnight. Except for chips and salsa! Was not spoke to by any staff so figured maybe you seat yourself and after sitting for 15mins with staff walking by with no acknowledgement we got up and left. Use extreme caution coming here during the COVID-19 pandemic. None of the staff are wearing masks and they show no concern in regard to capacity limits. Food is pretty pricey for what they serve. Rude staff, overpriced food, questionable health practices...just go somewhere else. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've been completely ignored. I'm surprised I was even able to order food tonight. I'm still here as I write this because I just can't believe it. I ordered the 12 ounce rib eye with baked potato. It's AWFUL! It is dry, tasteless and cold. My server has yet to ask if I need anything, how my food is or refill my drink. She finally took my drink and said I'll be right back....it's been more than 5 mins. I could probably walk out un noticed such a disgrace to the restaurant Industry. Atmosphere: My husband and I went to this restaurant tonight and when we walked in, the tone was set with a dark room and no sign stating whether or not to seat ourselves. We sat ourselves at a table and were approached by our server, Taryn, who greeted us by asking for our IDs. Not only did I have a gloomy vibe from this place from the start it also seemed to be very unfriendly in general. Service: Our server was obviously understaffed, but she did not help herself out by having a very short interaction with us throughout the service. We were approached the minimum number of times that were necessary for us to order dinner and one beer each. We would have ordered more if not for the abrupt appearance of our check. Food: My husband had very greasy and bland fish and chips, I ordered a sad frozen patty on a little bun. The food was not good and lacked both attention to detail and any notion of seasoning. Beer: I ordered what I thought was Mac N Jacks Amber and my husband ordered a marzen. Both had a metallic taste and tasted faintly like what we had ordered. Overall: We really wanted to like this place, but sadly with so many other better options in Lacey we will not be back. What made this place interesting was that a lot of my friends were super interested in playing bar games to include "wild life hunt" Never would of thought o paying this game but... I have one major take-away from my visit to Pints and Quarts, so please heed my warning! Our party was in a wing mood, so we ordered the habanero wings. I'm a huge lover of habanero, but I wasn't expecting anything too intense, considering there were no warnings or signs that they were anything other than a typical buffalo wing with, maybe, a little touch of habanero flavor. OK, so anyone, and I mean just about anyone, who doesn't have a high spice tolerance is going to be hurting after eating any part of one of these bad boys. I was honestly impressed by how spicy these were. I suspect the wings are dusted with some kind of habanero powder, but they are liberally dusted and most people will be floored by them, so be warned. No, seriously, take my word for it. You may be sorry otherwise. Anyway, the service was so-so, the beer selection wasn't note-worthy. There weren't any bar type games to while away the drunken night, but Pints and Quarts seems like an OK place to grab a few beers if you're in the area. read more

Mmm, after wine making, bottling, and sampling at Classic Winemakers down the street stopped in for dinner. My husband and I shared the beef nachos with guac, the bleu moose burger accompanied by beer. I was reassured that mixing wine and beer was fine...and it turned out to be, whew. The nachos looked like nothing special but were ridiculously good. The sweet potato fries accompanying the burger were almost heavenly! The beer selection - like; the service - like; the atmosphere - like; the prices - like. When I'm back in Lacey to bottle my second batch of wine, I'll stop in again - for sure! read more

This is one of my favorite places in all of Thurston County! The staff is so friendly and attentive and the drinks are fab! The mug club is perfect for my hubby!! We tend to go in with large groups and the servers and bartenders have the perfect pace! This place is a great neighborhood bar. It's great for watching a game, listening to live music, and grabbing some good eats and drinks. My most recently experience included some amazing live music. The place was packed and we, unfortunately, sat ourselves at one of two tables open, right underneath one of three working speakers. The conversation involved a lot of shouting across the table. The service has always been pretty good here and this time was no exception. We ordered some oysters (raw) that come from Hama Hama up in Lilliwaup... My favorite! I would have loved if they were served with a mignonette rather than lemon and cocktail sauce (yuck). The oysters were great with just a spritz of lemon. Yum! Due to dietary restrictions my order could've been a disaster but the server handled it very well and even entered it into the system nearby in case she had other questions. I got the half portion of a salad and couldn't finish it... I can't imagine a whole portion with everything I omitted! The server didn't even mind that I brought my own dressing. So accommodating! They are now serving Humm Kombucha on tap which is an absolute winner in my book. This place is a block from my gym so I can definitely see some post-workout rehydration going on here! read more

Very interesting drinking spot at the least, hmmmmm...... This was my first visit, I saw the spot on the way to my friends house as it caught my eye, maybe the name, location, can't remember what it was but when she mentioned that we would go have some after dinner drinks there, I remembered seeing it beforehand. I don't recall it being so packed parking wise but when she said to park in the Walgreens parking lot, I wondered why until I arrived and looked across the street and saw how packed the lot was... I was kinda excited to see what this place was about. Upon entering I could see that this was a local spot that draws a nightly crowd, especially on the weekends I'm sure. With a college close by and Tacoma being a good 20-30 minute drive I can see why this place gets heavy business. The establishment itself was nice, the bartenders were very attentive as well. The crowd was a diverse mix, the music was decent, that is until they started to play some R&B and Hip Hop, which I am a fan of definately BUT not when you speakers are bassing out literally and you see you drink vibrating on the counter... maybe they turned the volume up after a certain time but that was definately NOT the business!! One last thing, the drink prices were a little stiff, but I guess you can do that when you are the only real pub around this way. read more

First time I have visited this location and enjoyed the food and beer. Music as a little loud, but it is a bar and not really a restaurant like the other location. We ended up shouting all night to hear each other, but it was still fun and a we had a good time. The crowd is mostly 20-somethings out for a good time, but it was refreshing to see more than just frat-boys. There were some 60-year old hippies sitting at a table, a gaggle of what looked like moms, and even a couple overdressed business men. So it fits all crowds. read more

Great pub grub and a friendly atmosphere. Lots of beer on top, and an amazing selection of 22oz bottles. You can find anything that you're looking for here, and if by chance you don't, any wait staff or the bartender can point out two or three that you might like. Big servings of all the food. The tater tots and sweet potato fries are out of this world. LOVE their burgers, the Guinness stew and the hummus platter. They also have a great breakfast menu on the weekends, with massive serving sizes, a bloody mary bar, and a big variety of mimosas. Lots of TVs for various sports (soccer, baseball, college ball and NFL) and a good number of fans watching local games. A great atmosphere for a NFL Sunday. The music is good, although loud later into the night. A digital jukebox is available, a DJ some nights, all you can eat soft tacos for $5 on Tuesdays and a free BBQ on Wednesdays (with purchase of a drink). The prices are reasonable, which I love, and they usually have some type of beer special going on. This is totally a local favourite of ours! read more

Didn't get to try their food. Came in with my parents and cousins. We left after 25 minutes after standing at the door looking at each other. We didn't know if we were to be seated or seat ourselves. They totally ignored us. a bunch of employees walking back and forth but didn't bother to even say hi or instruct us how it works there. I lived in Lacey for 4 years and this was one of my two favorite bars there. Loved the breakfast/brunches on weekends, the ability to play Erotic (nudy) photo hunt & Big Buck Hunter and introduce these fine games to my friends, and how the bartenders made my favortie very dirty (skanky) vodka martinis. A great go to for the first stop in a night of drinking/bar-hopping and a great place to go for a meal. You must get the tater tots with your meal! My coworkers and I often come here for lunch. I am not qualified to speak about its reputation as a nighttime hangout since I have never been here after dark. The bar scene just ain't my bag. I have nothing bad to say about this little pub otherwise. They make some mean food and is definitely worthwhile for lunch or an early dinner. Our usual server, Amanda, is friendly and very attentive even if she might be a tad forgetful at times. The owner is an amiable guy and is often there to greet us and converse with us. I am withholding star numero five since my opinion is only colored by a certain part of the day. Unfortunately, the chances are good that I will never come here after hours so it will probably never get that fifth. read more

Came in November 1st. and found the bar that "Halloween Forgot" the place was packed and most everyone was in costume. along with all the TVs, I enjoyed the side show most of all. Full bar with lots of Tap's and Bottled Brew's for a good price. The food is a bit spendy but kinda good. I ordered the Bleu Moose Burger made with Italian Sausage mixed with Beef. Topped with Blue Cheese Crumbles, Bacon, Grilled Onion, Lettuce and Tomato on a Sesame Seed Bun. Comes A La Carte. Good burger. Not $8.89 burger + $2.49 for a side of Tater Tots good but for Lacey WA. Really good. Great energy from the crowd. Awesome staff. Pretty good service for as busy as they were on a Friday night. First time in Lacey for me but if I am ever back, the Pints and Quarts is a must stop. read more

This was my first experience and I didn't even get to try anything. We've been trying to order take-out from different restaurants to support local through the pandemic this place won't get a second chance. We ordered online, got a confirmation including a pick up time and a credit card charge. We went to pick up and the woman working said "oh I'm sorry, that order got canceled and we didn't make it." My partner asked if we could re-order and a male bartender interrupted the conversation saying "no. We can't do that it's money out of our pockets if we let you reorder." She came out all flustered and I went in to try and get a refund as the charge had already cleared my account. Now, I am a very obvious 8mo pregnant. The woman was trying to talk to me and the male (Josh) butted in, literally took off his mask and started yelling at me, a pregnant woman in a pandemic. The woman took me to the side and very kindly explained the technical difficulty and that the charge on my card was from their third party ordering system and walked me through how to get a refund. She also supplied me with the store owner's names and contact info so I could speak with them. But the rudeness from Josh was enough that we will not be back. read more
