After buying a new home, forgetting I had a propane tank, and letting it run dry, I called to set up service. They let me know that they'd need to do an inspection first and that they'd be able to fill my tank the following day. Nicole in the office was great at getting my account set up. Ray and another gentlemen whose name I didn't get came by to inspect the tank, and also gave me a partial fill to get me by until I could get filled. They also helped me with an issue with my fireplace, which was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. Then someone came by and refilled my tank the very same day (instead of the following day like I'd initially been told). I couldn't be happier with Pioneer Propane. Does not respond in timely matter. Called two weeks in advance and still no delivery. They always have an excuse.

They let my tank get almost empty and when I call to ask them come out they are rude and don't see the urgency of the situation even in the winter. I wish they would just keep the tank over 20% at all times. read more

Just moved into my new home in Cedar Ridge in Sequim, WA and signed up with Pioneer Propane for their auto fill program. Talked with Jan and was impressed how easy it was to join the program and the customer service that was provided. Needed help with my outdoor grill and Pioneer dispatched a service tech to my home and solved the problem. Had issue with gauge on old owner-purchased tank. Competitor stated needed to schedule service at least a week out. Also competitor I had been using would not just come out and fill up unless I had credit check done (even though I'd been using them for 3 plus years). Would only fill up the gallons I would have to estimate and pay for via credit card over the phone before they would schedule delivery. Pioneer sent out service call within 24 hrs to fix gauge then the following morning delivered propane and filled tank to capacity. Left bill and I was able to pay for a fully filled tank unlike competitor. Really appreciated Pioneers responsive service! read more

Straight up rip-off to fill a tank. The going price on that day I stopped was $1.93 at IGA in Port Angeles, $2.23 at Sequim Co-op. This joker hesitated a moment, then said $3.00 when I asked. He's inventing price on the spot if he thinks you'll pay I guess. I wonder if he's gouging the delivery customers too. How many of the elderly he serves don't think to check? read more

Really convenient location for us NEAR Carlsborg. I was in and out plus enjoyed the conversation with the man who filled my propane tank.

Very poor customer service! After waiting 3 weeks to have someone service our home they failed to show up for the appointment at all. When I called, the receptionist was rude and refused to apologize or reschedule my appointment. In fact, when I questioned their customer service she hung up on me! I later tried to visit the office in Carlsborg to reschedule my appointment and I was threatened bodily harm by the same receptionist. What a nightmare! Pioneer Propane is not worth the trouble. There are plenty of other propane services in town with better prices. read more
