I love Piper + Co! Their salon is light, airy and beautiful. My stylist is Neysa, who is amazing. I have been a client of Neysa's since 2016. Most recently, I had an allover mocha color and extensions added for fullness, but she has taken me allover ice platinum blonde and everywhere in between. She's amazingly talented, but honestly, all the stylists at Piper are. I'm always greeted with a smile, and they are all super friendly. Piper + Co. also makes the most delicious hand poured candles. I buy one every time I go in. During the pandemic, they sold candle 'care packages' and delivered them (socially distanced) on people's porches. These are some of the best people you'll ever meet. It's worth noting that they don't pressure you to buy product or candles, because they don't need to! Everything they sell is high quality. I have nothing but great things to say about this place! The only services I've ever been here for are brows (but my mom gets her hair and brows done here and loves it as well) but I could not be happier. I started my brow journey here after years of attempted recovery from the early 2000s pencil brow epidemic ... I had done a lot to regrow them myself, but couldn't get the full brows I wanted, and had short "tails" and bald spots here and there that just wouldn't grow back, so I had to fill them in with pencils. They didn't look horrible but I felt so self-conscious about the way they looked without makeup. I was gifted the microblading service one Christmas (I think 2022?) and immediately was hooked! Not only was the environment SO chill (Autumn is one of the most relaxed/easiest people to talk to) but I loved how direct and clear she was. From even the first texts we exchanged back and forth she was adamant about never selling false hope or committing to a final product she couldn't achieve, which helped me fully grasp where my brows would/should end up. As a matter of fact, she wouldn't even give any assurance of ANY outcome before meeting in person for the free consultation so she could see what she was working with and make happen! I've felt confident and comfortable for the entirety of all my services so far, and Autumn is wonderful about taking a pause to check in and have her clients view the progress and feel assured that things are going how they wanted/expected. She's also constantly verbally filling you in on where she's at and what she's doing, so you always know step-by-step what is going on even without looking. What Up Brow has given me the opportunity to feel happy, confident, and PROUD of my brows for the first time in my life- which is HUGE after years of shame over non-existent brow hair. I can't imagine ever trusting anyone else with my brow maintenance and hope I never have to! She's the real MVP! A final note- I did see a very negative review of the brow services with nothing but a brief screenshot of a text thread and a very unclear view of some henna brows (which honestly didn't look bad). I don't know the girl who posted that, but what I can say is that my years of experience now working with Autumn and What Up Brow can fully confirm that all her complaints of false promises and lack of communication during a service are 1000% inaccurate, and there are also only negative reviews on that girl's account (the other even with a response from a business owner stating that girl never even got a service from her business and accusing her of defamation) so my assumption is that this girl isn't the most reliable source for an honest review read more

Jacob has cut my hair twice now. The first time the bangs were too long. I called him and said that I wasn't happy about it. Without any hesitation he said to come back in and will fix it for me. After a few days of getting frustrated with my hair not wanting to behave, I finally decided it was time that I had to get my hair cut. And when I say cut, I mean CUT. I wanted to it up to about my collar bone. (It was almost reached my belly button) I called on a Thursday evening, and they were able to get me in the next day. Which is great! Being a mom that works full time and goes to school full time, it's hard to schedule really..anything. So I was glad I was able to get a quick appointment in the very next day. I got there about 15 minutes early and waited in their little waiting room area. And let me tell you, this is the CUTEST salon I have EVER been in. It's so girly and cute I love it. They have a cute display of candles and the hair products up front. So I was browsing around while I waited for my stylist to be ready for me. I had Emily. I told her what I wanted and she totally got what I was going for. The reason for the -1 star is that it was kind of awkward during my cut. There was barely any talking or anything. So it was pretty silent the whole time I was there (1.5hrs). I would try to make small talk. But I think since it was kind of later in the day maybe she was tired? Not sure. Not an awful thing, but it just kind of was awkward. Also, I kind of didn't know she was done when she actually was done lol. The apron thing I had on was taken off and she said it looked cute. I thought she was going to flat iron my hair or something. Not sure if it's extra. But usually salons that I go to always ask if I want a curl or straight hair for the Final touches. My hair was kind of wet ish. Very little especially toward my scalp. And curly/frizzy in some areas because I have naturally wavy hair. So I wish there would've been some final touches. I went home and flat ironed my hair afterward and it looked great. Overall I think she did a great job on my hair. Just wish there was those last touches to make my hair not look frizzy. But I love my hair cut and ultimately that's all that matters right? lol read more

She is simply amazing! So very friendly and fun and just does the prettiest hair I've ever seen as far as color etc. The haircut she gave me was exactly what I wanted too. She just really knows what she's doing, it's that simple. She absolutely listens to you and she executes it perfectly and professionally. She is super easy to communicate with both in person and via text. In fact, all of the gals in the salon seem to be very happy working there and are very welcoming also. I'm giving this place 1 star because it's by far the worst experience I've ever had. I got blonde highlights done (which I've had done many many times) and this place took over 4 hours. I also got a haircut that took over 45 minutes. I went home with white and yellow hair and a very uneven haircut. I was blamed for the haircut being bad because "I" wouldn't let the hair stylist properly dry my hair. I'm sorry that this whole experience already took over 5 hours and it was past 7pm and my toddler had to eat dinner and go to bed. I also suffered from REALLY really badly dried out/fried hair since it took over 4 hours for foils. I've never had highlights take 4+ hours. I texted my stylist about her maybe fixing my haircut and suggestions on helping my extremely dried hair, and I've still heard nothing. Just very unsatisfied with the customer service and the way I was treated. very disappointed!!! read more

Bit of a back story I just moved back to Washington after living in Germany for 3 years, German water is not kind to your hair. Decided to try and new stylist and found this place on Yelp/Facebook. I was in dire need of a cut/foil but on limited time frame. The person I spoke to initially said she'd put my info on a list and that I should get a call back from one of the stylists within a day. I got a call back from Casey a few hours later and fortunately she had time to get me in before the weekend. Salon is on the small side but has a cute boutique feel. There's about 8 stations/stylists. Casey was very sweet and upbeat, making me feel comfortable. I came with few pics and explained what I was hoping to achieve along with her feedback and thoughts as well. I had light-med hair and wanted foils both for lightening and darkening for contrast. The foiling process was quite a process and then the cut finishing with a straightening blow dry/style. My appt. was 10:30 and I walked out at exactly 2:00 but no complaints, she listened and did such a great job with the color and the cut.....and style. I was very pleased. It was important to me not to have too much trimmed off the length and figuring out what kind of bangs I wanted and she succeeded. I felt the price was fair, I'm moving away but will definitely refer her. Overall a great experience!! I'd give 5 stars but I never have because I feel there is always room for perfection.
