I want to start by saying…read moreI am a licensed MASTER esthetician myself that graduated from Clover Park Tech in 2021 who then went and got further education for to be a Laser Technician I went to get my Brazilian waxed for the first time in my life and I left feeling mortified, shamed, and was treated in a manner I would never treat a client. Betty scolded me and made remarks about my body and stretch marks while I was in my most vulnerable state. She had a Trainee wax me post putting me on the spot and while being waxed, some of the wax had accidentally gotten flicked onto Betty's scrubs. She then used the trainee's hand that had just been waxing me to remove the wax from her scrub to then put the same hand back onto my private area being completely unsanitary. As a licensed esthetician I knew it was unhygienic and as a woman I was in a vulnerable position and mortified. Her after care kit consisted of bath and body works 'warm vanilla sugar' hand sanitizer that she instructed me to use to sanitize my private area. This product should NEVER be used NEAR or ON your private area and especially not on open follicles that can lead to bacteria, infection, and irritation. She also said to use Curel lotion to soothe the area after using hand sanitizer. This kit was a joke and so was her business. I paid full price for an UNLICENSED trainee to wax me while being simultaneously humiliated by this businesses owner.

I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure, and during the process, the technician pulled out a drill file. I specifically asked not to have my nails drilled, as I don't like the potential damage it can cause--especially since I was only getting regular polish. She explained that the tool was for my cuticles, not the nail surface, and asked if that was okay. Since I haven't had my nails done in about six months and am not an expert, I agreed. During the cuticle work, I did feel some discomfort and mentioned that it felt warm around my cuticles. She adjusted her pressure slightly after that, which I appreciated. However, during the next 72 hours, my nails became increasingly sensitive, especially to heat--like when washing my hair or doing dishes. After doing some research, it seems this may have been a version of a "Russian manicure." My cuticles are now very tender, and my nail beds still feel sore. Additionally, one of my nails chipped and another cracked just a few days later. I know that regular polish doesn't last as long, so I'll take some responsibility there, but I expected at least a week before any noticeable wear. On the positive side, the technician was very kind and the salon itself was clean and welcoming. That said, the discomfort and sensitivity I'm experiencing make it unlikely that I'll return. This was definitely a learning experience for me--next time, if a drill is involved in any way with cuticle care, I'll politely decline.

As I sat down I looked around and saw how beautiful it was, very clean, beautiful sparkly lights, grass walls, art work decorations on ceiling. Constant incoming groups of women coming in. I was asked if I wanted a drink and I said water. My choice was cucumber or strawberry. I opted for cucumber water which was in a tall glass. My pedicurist worked on me and gave the best massage I told her I was in heaven! She carefully worked on my feet as another woman came over to work on my hands for my manicure. Both ladies very pleasant, respectful and attentive. They took care and did a very good job on my nails and I am very pleased with the outcome. The shop provided sterilized instruments, new scrubber for my feet straight out of package not used which most shops seem to use. I am definitely returning! Fair pricing, quality services, they work clean and provide beautiful shop. Shoutout to Lihn for my pedicure and gives best massage and Mari who gave my manicure, love my nails!

well..... I have been having Shelly do my hair over the last year until I had her add low lights…read morethat became a disaster!! my hair was Ashy and dark. I was told to add lemon to my conditioner and see if that worked by her . I left with my hair wet so she couldn't tell. when that didnt work she had me come in and added a toner , I left with my hair wet again and still was to dark. no blonde at all. Shelly strung me along for over a week with every excuse to not refoil or even look at it and what didn't work! I paid $230 for a partial foil and cut(trim). I now need to go pay to have my hair fixed!!!! she's the owner, and over charges for average grade service. Quality not worth $$$$ !
