When that didn't work, Levi went above and beyond to diagnose the issue and provide a fix that would get us home. This included leaving to pick up supplies at the store and calling in a second mechanic with specialized experience with Subaru issues. Throughout the whole experience, Levi was friendly and understanding, talking through what our options would be and giving advice that was genuine and well thought out. The beige carpet looked great immediately after cleaning but the soiled areas seemed to reappear as it dried. I FULLY acknowledge that the rug may simply be too dirty to be cleaned, but I don't know. I spent $20,000 on a vehicle there just a year ago, and since then I've had to spend nearly another $20,000 at the same shop trying to fix ongoing coolant and overheating issues. Instead of diagnosing and resolving the underlying problem, they would repair one issue, call it fixed, and send me on my way, only for the vehicle to overheat or break down again on the drive home. I repeatedly asked them to thoroughly test drive the vehicle after repairs to make sure it was actually fixed. They assured me they had, but when I looked at the mileage listed on the repair receipts, they had often driven it only a couple of miles--not nearly far enough for the engine to reach full operating temperature. So how could they honestly say they confirmed it wasn't overheating if they never drove it long enough for the problem to occur? After all of the money I've spent and the repeated promises that the vehicle was fixed, they eventually suggested I sell it back to them, offering only $9,000 for a car I've invested nearly $40,000 into. Based on everything I've experienced, I feel like I was strung along, charged for incomplete repairs, and ultimately taken advantage of rather than treated fairly as a customer.

Come to find out, the engine was dangerously low on oil. I walked in to the shop and explained my problem to the service department, and the gentleman there handed me a 5 qt. jug of oil that had about a quart and a half left in it, enough to get me home.
