I eat a lot of pizza. More than one person should. I've eaten pizza all over the world. And I can say this objectively is fantastic pizza. There's not a ton of seating, but would encourage people to eat in at least once. Everyone was super friendly. Even though it seems like a mostly take out place they checked in on us multiple times. Offered water / treats / water for our dog. I also think at the end of the night (just before closing) one of the younger employee's shift ended, and the owner(?) walked her to her car. If I wasn't just passing through, I'd be here every week. This place has amazing pizza and more importantly seem to treat their employees well. They 100% deserve your business read more

Back in Palm Harbor for a month vacation and had to get Pipers Pizza after craving it for a year. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! Best pizza I've ever had! Had it twice now! Very good sauce, good quality cheese, and a good crisp New York style crust. They don't offer wings, or sandwiches which is a shame because I like to order pizza and wings together. When I think "scratch kitchen" I think of good quality sauces, like teriyaki, hot sauce, or blue cheese made in house. Maybe they will add on to the menu when they get a little more established. Oh boy what do I have to say about this pizza? Only good happy cheesy thought. We ordered pizza around 6:30 pm and were cited a 30 minute wait time for pickup - we ordered a simple half cheese half sausage pizza. We showed up 35 minutes later as the hot pizza was coming out of the oven. I judge pizza based on how good you can do a basic cheese and the quality of your sausage. Their sausage was delicious and the cheese pizza was a star in its own right. Is this review probably biased because I was starving and exhausted? Maybe. Was the staff super friendly and full of jokes and laughter when we picked up the pizza? Definitely. Top notch customer service and great pizza at a great price, everything I was looking for in a basic cheese pizza at the end of a brutally long day in the sun. Great pepperoni pizza. Perfect ratio of sauce/cheese on perfectly baked crust. Sauce is great & a very reasonable price for a side of it. It is a marinara sauce and delicious! Cinnamon rolls are yummy! Garlic knots are good but I thought they could use a bit more butter drizzle, but maybe that's just me. I like them more moist. I visited Piper's Pizza (formerly Giovanni's) with my 4 year old daughter on our way driving Gradmom back home and the pizza was fabulous. Excellent NY style pizza folks! This place has been on my list to try for months and I finally made it in yesterday. My son and I both had a cheese slices and ordered 2 more! Spoke to the owners who own and operate which is always a good sign. Super nice people that use high quality ingredients and have an experienced chef that knows how to stretch and cook a nice pie. Tried for the first time today, driving 20 minutes with high hopes. We were not disappointed and it is probably the best Margarita pizza I ever had. The sauce was flavorful and the Roma tomatoes were awesome. Nice thin crust yet held its own. Wife had pepperoni. Only complaint....not enough pepperoni. We were in search of an easy pizza takeout night after a long day and Piper's seemed like they could deliver, and did for the most part. The staff was very friendly, which is always a plus. We ordered the Four Horseman specialty pie, garlic knots, house-made meatballs, and a Caesar salad. The Four Horseman was just like your typical meat-lovers pie. What set it apart is its house-made meatballs. The pie itself was too my preference, thin-wise, although I wish it was left in the oven a bit more but that's just me. The Caesar salad was very fresh, which I appreciate but also very crouton and parm cheese forward. I don't mind that but I know it's not everyone's preference. The meatballs, although an order of two, could've been shared with 6 people. The marinara brought everything together. And the best thing we had was far and beyond the garlic knots. These are good without the marinara sauce imho. They did not skimp on the garlic and cheese. Overall, Piper's is a great choice for takeout. read more
