5 stars all around! This GEM is such a wonderful retreat to enjoy nice weather on the water, with AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD ! Gina was our server and was absolutely outstanding!! The crab cheese toast was delicious!! I ordered the shrimp salad sandwich and it was SO GOOD!! Perfectly seasoned! My friend order the fried cod sandwich which she loved! Overall, PC is definitely a nice chill spot to sit by the water and enjoy this gorgeous weather. I can't wait to go back!!

This restaurant sits on a boating dock. We set outside and the views were beautiful and the service was good!We got the Prince Edward Island Mussels, Captain's Blue Crab Stuffed Flounder with a side salad, Oysters Rockefeller, the Crawfish Étouffée and the Beignets. It was all very tasty! The Creamy Cilantro Lime dressing for the salad is a bit spicy. The restaurant also hand a live performance with a guitarist outside. I will forward to going back.

The mini crab cake app (4) for )16 we really enjoyed. We ordered the steamed shrimp which were huge and very well seasoned. The service was fast and very attentive. We will definitely go back/

A few of us ladies went to lunch there and asked if we could get separate checks and the waiter said sure. Thst was it. Then when ee got our tabs, we noticed they had talked on a gratuity of 23% for getting separate checks. We should've been told that up front and let us decide what we wanted to do.

I went her on a Sunday evening right before sunset. The food and views were amazing. The staff were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be coming back soon. I had the crab imperial. It was delicious. For desert I had the beignets . Nothing like Cafe Du Monde , but with the dipping square it was tasty.

They offer a decent house Chardonnay and of course Bud for the hubby!

Love this place! The food is always very fresh and portions are large. Some of our favorites are the Cajun chicken pasta, Shrimp Louis, and fish and chips. We love that they offer cod or haddock as a choice for fish and chips. They have live music on weekends indoors and at the dockside dining. The waitstaff are always friendly and accommodating. This is definitely one of our regular, go to spots!

1st let me say I love that this on the water! That just stole my heart! There is a tiki bar if you want to sit outside instead of being in the restaurant. The restaurant has outdoor and inside seating and a bar area. We had the Chesapeake flat bread pizza. It was so yummy. The crab dip is the sauce topped with shrimp and cheese. My entree was the crabcake. It had a very good taste and if it wasn't for the veggies and baked potato I probably could of ate 2 of them. I definitely recommend this restaurant for some great dishes!

Kate is the best server there! Ask for Kate when you go. The food is good, ambiance on the water is refreshing, and the prices are decent.

"Waste o' time, Bobby, you won't find the critter there," Sam Guthrie (Cannonball), the oldest of the teenagers that make up the New Mutants, responded, "It'll be here." "What are you talking about, Sam? Explain yourself!" "Stands t' reason, ever since we've known her, Dani's had a special fear of a spirit bear she said murdered her parents. None of us really really gave the story much credit, after all who believes in magic?" Sam paused oh so slightly before continuing. " 'Cept Illyana's a real witch, an' we fought demons and sorceresses. Maybe Dani wasn't kidding." Sam shifted his tone to reveal his evidence. "Illyana tells me Dani spent the last week or so in the Danger Room fighting bears! T'night, she walked out into a [winter] storm, alone, armed with a bow an' arrows an' wearing war paint! And got mauled. We were wrong t' doubt her. We should'a listened, we should'a seen the signs." Whenever my wife and I visit a restaurant or bar for the first time, whether we are there by ourselves or--in this case--treated to a meal by our favorite neighbors--I can count on her to sort through, heed, and pick up on every nuance in every aspect of culinary service that is there to be sensed. In this case, at the Dockside Restaurant & Sports Bar at 421 Deale Road in Maryland, the food was mostly wonderful, and the prices were more than reasonable for this economy. What prevents Dockside from receiving at least four stars was primarily the service. Two orders of fries, one sweet potato and one regular, weren't hot; and although our waitress reluctantly brought one of the orders back to exchange it for a new batch, the fries didn't taste any warmer. Our other host ordered his crabcake lightly-fried, only for it to be brought out broiled. He still enjoyed it, but it wasn't exactly what he wanted or ordered. By the end of the meal, it became obvious that, if we return, we need to ask for Sarah, who, although she was tending the bar and wasn't even our waitress, still brought one of our neighbors a fresh cup of Pepsi Zero that she could take on our return trip home. Sarah also exhibited a great sense of humor, an attentiveness and an attention to detail, and, most importantly, remembered with pleasure our hosts, who have dined there frequently. Apart from the pumpkin cheesecake, which was so infused with nutmeg and pumpkin spice that even Linus from Peanuts couldn't have tasted the pumpkin, and the lukewarm fries, our meals were terrific. I devoured the perfectly-seasoned shrimp from the fried shrimp platter; everyone loved their onion rings and their cream of crab and Maryland crab soups; and we all agreed that the crabcakes, boiled and fried, were scrumptious.

This place is nestled along the quiet waterfront in Deale, Maryland; it is one of those classic Chesapeake Bay gems that manages to balance small-town charm with a lively dockside spirit. You will always find fishermen swapping stories, families gathering after a day on the water, and visitors who came for the sunset and stayed for the crab cakes. The panoramic view of Rockhold Creek is breathtaking. The vibe is relaxed and local in the best possible way: nautical flags, weathered wood, and a bar that feels as though it's been a gathering place for generations. In warm weather, the outdoor deck fills quickly, offering the ultimate place to enjoy a cold beer and a platter of seafood as the sun dips into the bay. It was too cold for us; we hope to make it back here in the spring with warmer weather. The menu at Happy Harbor is rooted in Maryland tradition but isn't afraid to have a little fun. We started with the creamy Maryland crab dip; it is served bubbling hot with toasted baguette slices. It's rich without being cloying, anchored by sweet, fresh lumps of crabmeat that remind you how close you are to the source. Next, we had the steamed blue crabs. Steamed to order, they arrived fragrant, steaming, and perfectly seasoned--the hallmark of a place that knows its craft. My wife went with the grilled rockfish sandwich--local to the Bay and cooked to perfection--which arrived simply dressed with lettuce, tomato, and a smear of house-made tartar sauce on a soft brioche roll. It's the kind of straightforward, fresh preparation that showcases confidence rather than flash. I went with the Captain's Combination Platter, a local favorite, offering a sampler of crispy fried shrimp, oysters, scallops, and a generous portion of hand-cut fries. It's hearty, unpretentious comfort food that's as much about the experience as the flavors. You can pair your meal with a craft beer from a regional brewery or a signature crush cocktail--the orange crush was my choice. As far as the service, Happy Harbor is friendly and efficient, with staff who genuinely seem to enjoy the rhythm of the place. Our server was engaging and quick with recommendations and even quicker with refills, striking just the right note between laid-back and attentive. Happy Harbor isn't chasing trends--it's celebrating tradition. It's a place where the seafood is fresh, the portions generous, and the mood somewhere between a family gathering and a dockside festival. Whether you're a local returning for your favorite crab dip or a traveler discovering the simplicity of a Maryland summer meal by the water, Happy Harbor delivers a quintessential Chesapeake experience.

I'm not sure if my taste is just different, but the creamed spinach and lyonnaise potatoes were just okay. The French fried potatoes were good, it's a hybrid between a chip and a fry, very unique. The thick cut bacon just tasted like salty ham, however it was still good. The crab balls were DELICIOUS, absolutely packed with meat. All the reviews here are very contrasting, but if you had to get one side, I recommend getting the crab balls. Everything else is honestly not that worth it. For the main entree we chose the tomahawk ribeye medium rare, and it was very rare when it came out, however it was still very smooth and easy to chew. It was only disappointing because the steak was rather cold, and lacked flavor. Do not come to this steakhouse expecting flavor in every dish. It truly just tastes like the ingredients, nothing insane.
