    Hydrotherapy in action!

This place is so amazing! We have two senior Huskies who have started to lose mobility in their old age. After trying medications and only seeing limited success, we started looking for more physical-therapy oriented approaches. After doing a ton of research we settled on hydrotherapy. Unfortunately hydrotherapy facilities are few and far between and when you do find them they're usually crazy expensive. Then we found Pirate's Paws! It was nearby and the cost was more than reasonable. We scheduled an appointment and instantly fell in love with the spot and people! We just finished our fourth session and are already starting to see noticeable improvement. Speaking of people - Rob and Jess, the owners, are so friendly and caring! We can't say enough good things about them. Our dog was very nervous to start and they were very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. You can tell this is more than just a business for them. They really care about the health and happiness of your pet. Long story short, this pace is amazing! If you're looking for a place to help your old and/or ailing pet we can't recommend Pirate's Paws enough!! Thank you Jesse and Robert!!! See you again soon

Cid in his life vest for another session of water treadmill.

Great place, love it. I have an overweight 10yr old pitbull who is prone to outdoor allergies (itchy, red, inflamed paws/coat) so it makes it difficult to walk outdoors regularly. Due to his age *low metabolism & his allergies & lack of exercise, he's 15-20pds overweight. I've tried everything, to get his weight down, but without regular exercise it just doesn't work. I found Robert/Jessie at Pirate Paws & I couldn't be happier. There have been some challenges for my dog because he's not a fan of water( they continue to work on that at his pace) he's a little unsure of the dry treadmill, but he tries. With that, they have found other ways to work him out. Bottomline, they really pay attention to the specific needs of my dog & adjust his sessions to what works best for him. I've seen such a difference in his behavior. Not only the exercise, but the mental simulation he gets at Pirate Paws has really had a positive effect. Jessie also made some diet recommendations that were helpful that I've implemented. The prices are affordable, so that's a plus. Considering the health issues & vet bills that come with having an overweight dog, it's worth every penny. We're just at the beginning of this journey but I'm confident we'll meet our fitness goal. Highly recommend.

We have a Husky-Saint Bernard mix that has been very against any form of grooming for years…read more Outside of wrangling him to be brushed haphazardly everyday, he hasn't been properly groomed in a long while. If you know anything about Huskies, they shed like nobodies business. PILES of fur in every corner of the house and hair tumbleweeds blowing in the wind in our yard literally every day. I just assumed this was life with this type of pup. I booked Valerie's bath and deshedding grooming service for Oct 30th. She was super responsive and arrived on time. I was worried our guy would be a bit reactive with her, but there were zero issues. Valerie was super great with him, so calm and reassuring. When she returned him a little over an hour later he looked like a new dog! I can only imagine how much fur she got off him as he looked ten pounds lighter! His coat was so shiny and soft, and the best part... he hasn't been shedding like a maniac since! We're 3.5 weeks post service and there are zero piles and no tumbleweeds. There's still minor shedding, which is to be expected, but not having to vacuum 2-3 times a day has been amazing. Valerie has earned her place as our go-to groomer going forward.

Beachside Bubbles took care of our dog, Stormy, who was in desperate need of a bath and deshedding. The representative who took care of Stormy was incredibly friendly, professional, and she clearly cared about making Stormy feel comfortable. I noticed that she took her time and didn't rush through the process, which really showed in the quality of her work. We'll definitely be calling them back--and recommending them to all our fellow dog parents. Thanks, Beachside Bubbles!

Very Disappointing Experience…read more I'm extremely disappointed with this dog boarding/daycare facility. We had used it before without issues, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Our dog stayed there from June 25 through July 9, 2026, with daycare twice a week. When we picked him up on July 9, we discovered a significant hole in his ear. No one had contacted us, and the receptionist said no injury was documented in his file. Staff could not explain what happened or identify which dog may have caused it. We were directed to the facility's veterinary hospital, where our dog had to be sedated, stitched, and treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. He also had to wear a cone for three weeks. We were charged for the medications and requested reimbursement from both the veterinary hospital and daycare and yes we were reimbursed. The daycare offered only 10% off a future boarding stay and two free daycare days. We have no interest in returning and no longer trust this facility with our dog's care. Accidents can happen, but an injury requiring sedation, stitches, medication, and three weeks in a cone should have been documented and reported immediately. Instead, our dog is now missing part of his ear. This experience revealed serious failures in supervision, communication, documentation, and accountability.
