New location. Wish the food had improved. The homestyle Monique has gone too far. Been to two breakfasts and a lunch. Lunch was decent. Burger was good enough but nothing spectacular. Breakfast is were the loss of rating is happening. Don't get the home fries. Either way. Steamed/flat top no taste. Fries. No taste with oil. Had an eggs Benedict that was full of egg shells. It was also pointed out to me the egg was likely microwaved due to the perfect dome shape. Again. No flavor. No seasoning. This place is practically accosts the street from my house and I'm driving somewhere else for breakfast 30 min away

We got there 20 min before closing but they still encouraged us to come in and take our time. It's always nice to be welcomed in and not hurried out the door. I chose the California with fried brussels. Both were good, but the brussels were amazing! The menu doesn't tell what bread the sandwiches come on, but I found the croissant to be perfect with my sandwich. The menu also doesn't say the sandwich would be warm and pressed, so if you want a cold sandwich be sure to order it that way. My husband's club was different from what he was expecting. It was the cold sandwich with layers and a toothpick he usually gets when ordering a club. It was served hot on thick Texas toast, which is not his favorite. He loved the potato salad and said he'd love to get a big container full the next time we have a cookout.

Excellent service and coffee! It wasn't too busy to get in at 11:15 on a Saturday. The food was good. I had forgotten that all southern casseroles are eggs and cheese and a veggie. Not healthy at all but good.

Cute place but don't get the spinach salad. They put a few fresh pieces of spinach on top but the rest was very wilted with some being liquified The chicken was bland and tough Other items may be ok but this was gross

Came in on Oct 28th, 2019 at about 11am with my brother as we heard they were open and had good breakfast. Came in and seated ourselves and hostess came up immediately and took our drink orders. After a few minutes we ordered. I had the country breakfast of 2 eggs over medium with ham, grits and toast. Eggs were perfect, toast was thick and good, ham was excellent, no gristle, and grits were ok but they were the "low-country" style which are stone-ground grits which no one that I personally know likes, my and my families/friends preference being good 5 minute white-hominy grits. Brother hax breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, country potatoes/fries, country sausage with the grits and toast. He also liked everything but the grits. We both had sweet tea which was PERFECT, great flavor not weak and not too sweet. Place was very clean, employees were extremely polite and professional, as a matter of fact we had some overflow on the wait staff trying to help us, which is never a problem it's not like they hovered they just made sure we had everything we needed. Spoke with one of the owners Nick (Fran and Nick - hence Frannick's!), great guy, knows his restaurant business. I spoke with him about his plans, he is going to get some pictures on the menu because they have a large selection but some of the items would be easier to.choose if you could visualize the menu item. Parking is ample. Prices are a little higher than say Waffle House BUT food and service is better IMO. Will give 4 stars for now based on: Service/staff - 5 stars Food quality - 5 stars except for grits Location - 5 star Prices - 4 to 5 star Cleanliness/appearance - 5 star If next visit is just as good/consistent will bump up to 5 stars. (Get some regular grits on the menu please!) Will return to check out other menu items, definitely recommend.

They are very busy on a Sunday too. We loved the fried green tomatoes with siracha aioli. Great place for breakfast after early church service.

I ordered the Texas French toast (with no eggs) thinking it meant no eggs on the side not that the French toast was made without eggs!!! Who makes French toast without eggs lmao? And don't get me started on the pepperoni sized Canadian ham they gave me overall the food was bleh wouldn't go again.

Nestled in an old Waffle House building. Might be seat yourself, I'm not sure. This was our first time visiting, so one of the staff pointed us in the right direction. Table was clean and they do have high chairs-- they were on wheels, which was pretty cool. We were given menus right away and our drink orders were taken. Coffee was hot and fairly standard for diner like coffee. Our waitress gave us a few minutes to puruse the menu and I settled on the La Casa Grande-- it came with two eggs, grits, hash browns, choice of meat, choice of bread, and two pancakes. I wasn't super crazy about the grits, but I'm picky about my grits. I found these to be more sweet than savory. I really enjoyed the potatoes though-- they came with peppers and onions. I chose bacon for my meat and it was great. Pancakes were delicious, though I wish they had come with butter. I ordered a biscuit with my meal and asked for butter and jelly to go with. Honestly, I really enjoyed everything but the grits! No idea what my husband ordered, but it came with ham, hash browns, choice of bread, and eggs. He seemed happy! Our daughter picked at everything, but mostly ate all my bacon lol. Staff was friendly and absolutely adored our daughter. We visit this area frequently, so we will most likely be back... also to try the French toast.

Great place to eat! Service was great! Waitress was very attentive and nice. Very happening place on a Sunday morning! We had breakfast and it was delicious. I had the country fried steak breakfast...oh my!! My sister had French toast. Was good but could be a bit better...not bad enough to bring it down a star. We will definitely be back!!

I was really impressed with the spacious and clean environment…read more and very open, modern motif. This would be a perfect place for larger groups such as family get togethers, celebrations, while still seating couples and others. And the portions versus the price point seemed very reasonable to me. They boast a Southern Coastal Cuisine so I went with the Fried Flounder Sandwich dressed in southern slaw and a side of tartar sauce. Served on a Niedlov's (Bakery in Chattanooga) grilled artisan hoagie bun. It was delicious. Crunchy crust and a tender moist fillet on the inside. And that Creamy Dreamy slaw was amazing. Their Fried Chicken Tacos is a must try too. Three hot chicken tenders in four tortillas, topped with corn salsa, cojita cheese, and jalapeño lime ranch. It was an Oh My Gosh experience. They have a very nice outside covered patio that's pet friendly and it all sits on a very large parcel with nice greenery and impressive landscaping. And it looks like they do a very brisk take out business too as I seen many orders being picked up. Awesome cocktails, attentive and responsive service all at a fair price. Definitely a place you want to check out.

Grabbed a quick cocktail before our friends showed up. Good cocktails and service at the bar. Sometimes restaurants have an issue dealing with large groups. The waitress was fantastic and got us through the dinner without any issues and great service. They did put a 20% tip automatically on the bill but I have no issue with that. I counted three servers, a bartender and a host and the inside was full. I could see guests at tables waiting for food as we were waiting to be greeted. It took a while before a waitress came over to greet us and take drink orders. When she did, she mentioned that our assigned server was a bit overwhelmed and that she would be taking the table for us. We opted to just have water and put in our food order in. We ordered the whole chicken wings with a red velvet waffle with the icing on the side, a side of grits, a side of whole wings, biscuits and turkey gravy and a cinnamon roll pancake (per the server's recommendation). Note that the side of grits and biscuits & gravy were not on the paper menu, but an option to order. Around noon, a djay began to set up and play r&b music, prior to that there was gospel playing. Twenty five minutes or so later, I overheard another server state that there were only two chefs cooking, and some guests were upset because of timing. This made me nervous and I asked our waitress if our food had been started because we could cancel and return when they were less busy. However, she assured me that the cooks started our food and it ended up coming out less than ten minutes later. This is when an okay visit turned into a good one. The food did not miss. There was not really anything that I disliked. The cinnamon roll pancake was the star & I would recommend it and get it next time. The chicken wings were seasoned well and crispy. The turkey gravy on the biscuit was unlike any I've tried but delicious. The red velvet waffle was good with and without the icing. The grits were good once I added a little salt. Overall the meal was great, the portions were big and we had enough to bring home for the next day. I would return for brunch again on a less busy day.
