The steak itself was done well (medium rare, to be clear), as were the fries. The salad, often an afterthought, was a wonderful supporting actor to the meal, with excellent acidity and freshness as a counterpoint to the steak and potatoes. I would be remiss not to comment on the house steak sauce; it was so good I ended up pouring it all over my fries (almost reminiscent of poutine, appropriately).
