I can't say enough good things about Pit Stop Automotive. It's incredibly rare to find an auto shop that's honest, skilled, and genuinely cares about saving you money and that's exactly what I found here. I came in because I had a feeling something wasn't right with my left axle. I've only had my car for a year, and Subaru kept telling me there was nothing wrong, even though I knew something felt off. Since it should be covered under my powertrain warranty, I kept driving it, but the problem kept getting worse over the next 6 to 8 months. When I brought it to Pit Stop, Aaron really took the time to help. Instead of jumping straight into expensive repairs, he tried to save me money by first replacing the sway bar links just in case that was causing the noise. When that didn't fully resolve the issue, he took a closer look--and sure enough, it was my axle all along. Thanks to his inspection, I now have what I need to go back to Subaru and hopefully have them finally take care of it under warranty, like they should have from the beginning. Wow! We absolutely recommend. Our minivan was having electrical issues and we brought it to Aaron, who worked us in right away. He fixed the damage (rats were chewing wires- yikes!) and did a tune up and our brakes for an amazing price. He was done so quickly with it too. It is driving like a dream. Where do I start. I hate writing reviews. especially negative ones. I recently purchased a spacer leveling type lift to be installed on my SUV for just over $400 so that I could install some larger tires on my car. I asked pit stop if they would be able to install them and they said that it shouldn't be a problem. Once pit stop received my vehicle they determined that they had no idea how to do it. I'm not a mechanic but I am fairly mechanically inclined and believed them so I went ahead and ordered a full suspension lift kit for the vehicle for $1200 plus shipping. I'm not able to return the leveling kit once the box is opened since the company can't resell items the could have potentially been installed and uninstalled. Pit stop installed the lift kit I purchased and installed the new tires I had purchased for the vehicle (The tires were purchased after I made a specific trip over to pit stop to make sure that the tires I was ordering would fit). I received a call from pit stop once the car was "done" to go pick up the car. When I got to the shop I noticed the car wasn't lifted and that the front two tires were not able to fully turn left or right without tearing up the inside of my wheel wells in the front. All four tire sensors were also non functioning. (Aaron told me to just "take it down the street" to a separate mechanic so the he didn't have to deal with it.) The shop failed to realize that the springs I ordered were not lift springs but lowering springs. It cost me almost $1000 to have the kit installed. I finally looked at the stock suspension myself as it was out of the car and no longer on the vehicle and then looked at the original spacer lift that I had purchased for $400 and it took me about 3 minutes without any tools to put one of the spacers on one of the rear shocks where it was supposed to go. I sent aaron a photo of what I had figured out with no response. I have also asked him 5 separate times what it would cost to have new springs put on the lift suspension and he's yet to even get back to me. Side note: I also own an RV rental business and have been taking my fleet to this shop with it's previous owner for years. When aaron purchased pit stop from Ron he inherited their clientele as well. You'd think they would want to keep a regular customer happy. I have now taken my vehicle to a different mechanic and am in the process of swapping the aftermarket suspension out for the original suspension with the spacers installed. Some how not an issue for this other mechanic. This will also cost me $1000. My advice, take your vehicle somewhere else. Unless you enjoy completely wasting money and time. I'll leave this review up until they find a way to fix what happened. below is a picture of the original suspension with the spacer i installed after 3 minutes of tinkering. The second photo is a picture of the aftermarket suspension with what is clearly a spring that is too small for the shock. How they didn't know that this spring was too small is only reflective of their lack of experience. read more

My car is around 10 years old so I've had some issues with it and I've taken it in a couple of times and they actually charged me significantly less than their initial estimate, and to me, that's an amazing sign of great, honest business. I've been a Burbank resident for the past 3yrs - I'm constantly driving up and down Burbank Blvd on my work commute - and couldn't help but notice the increased activity at this mechanic shop. Since I've moved to Burbank, this "mechanic shop" just looked like a non-operational/run-down shop from the outside so I never bothered to take my car here. However, that was until I met Eric - he was immediately super welcoming and friendly when he saw me, so I quickly welcomed him to the community as I understood that he is now the new owner. I must say that he has done an incredible job turning this place around. We chatted up for a few mins and learned that he has over 20 years experience working in the automotive/mechanic industry and you can quickly tell he's passionate about what he does and takes pride in his ownership. The team at Pit Stop diagnosed it quickly, gave me a detailed overview of all my options, and absolutely crushed the competition on price. When I left the new battery seemed a little off. The guys had me take it back, put in a completely new battery without any additional charges or hassle, and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend you come to Pit Stop Automotive. I didn't realize I had a tiny crack on the corner of my windshield. Everytime I would drive my car the crack kept "growing". A friend of mine recommended I go to this location to get it fixed. She said they did EXCELLENT WORK and the new owners were really nice and would take care of me. Later that afternoon I called Pit Stop Automotive to see if they replaced windshields. They asked me to send pictures of the damage and they called me within minutes and said not to drive the vehicle. They ended up sending one of there guys to my location and he replaced my windshield He was really quick too. The transaction was easy, fast and not stressful. Aren and his wife are so nice. Aaron was extremely friendly and helpful when I came in. I came in two days in a row and both days they were able to take my car in immediately. The second time he said it might be a couple of days but he ended up getting it back to me in 1 day. Before they would do any work, Aaron would call me and give me estimates and asked what I wanted done before doing anything. Both times I felt like he gave me extremely fair rates and I even had some damage to my fender from a car accident, so I was having them replace my headlight and he said he'd pop the fender back into place and I didn't expect much and was just going to be happy with it popped back so it's not sticking out anymore, but they did a great job putting the fender back on and besides the scratches you wouldn't have known the fender ever came off.
